Fantastic, excellent customer service, I had a very unfortunate accident….a bird shat in my food 🤣🤣🤦🏼‍♀️ and the server noticed and replaced straight away for me, much appreciated 😬 I had the coconut and lemon curry, amazing, I’ll definitely re visit 😀

Over a month away from Glastonbury and i’m already getting excited to have the rendang from Makatcha!

As a Camden local, this is one of the few food stalls I'd recommend in the area!! The price is rather steep (as with every stall) but the quality is most definitely there. It's not a traditional take on a rendang, but their very own spin that is outstanding! Make sure to ask for extra chopped chillies, they're absolutely lovely :)

The curries are AMAZING!!!! So delicious. Shame the Sunday market staff is so incredibly rude, barely looking you in the eyes, like they are doing you a favour.

The curries here are crazy good. Not too spicy, coconuty. The queues are not long which in my opinion is almost a crime because the food is excellent

We stopped here for a sample of their curry dishes while in Camden Market and ended up ordering the chicken curry because the samples were so delicious! The spice level is very tolerable for anyone who doesn't usually have a lot of spices in their food :) Would recommend stopping here for take-out if you are visiting the market!

Respectably as an Indonesian, the food was horrible 🥲 I didnt even finish it I just threw it out.

הגענו למקום בגלל המלצה ספציפית בפייסבוק. זה נמצא בקמדן מרקט. לקחנו את המנה הטבעונית. היה מדהים. היה באמת באמת וואו. חריף. והיה גל חום. אבל באמת מנה נהדרת עולה לדעתי 10 פאונד אם לא היה כזה חם, הייתי חוזרת לעוד מנה

Curries are good, but they state the food is "gluten free" and then have "a small amount of gluten" in the pickled vegetables they serve with every curry. I've attached pictures of their stall. I was naive and assumed everything was gluten free, as the sign implies. If the couple next to me hadn't clarified they were coeliac then it never would have been mentioned and my partner and I would have got ill. Ours was already plated so they made up new plates without the vegetables without too much fuss. I would not have eaten there if I had known that the food was not actually gluten free, as the signage was so bad that it made you wonder about their general knowledge of allergens. I don't believe it was intentionally false advertising but it still needs to be sorted. Please fix your signage to be less misleading.

I was able to try a sample of both the chicken and beef, both tasted amazing! Well worth it.

Best beef rendang I’ve ever had!

Their 8-hour pulled beef rendang is a generous portion of my favourite meal at the Broadway Market. I simply cannot get enough of this rich, delicious goodness! I'll update with pics next time I have it.

It's absolutely the best food I've ever eaten! I've been here many times and always had a twikle in my eye ;)

Definitely hands down the best beef rendang in town! I was so sad when they closed the branch in Bang Bang, but I found that they are also here in Camden. The flavours were just brilliant, the portion is generous and the beef rendang is just to die for! Staffs were so friendly and helpful, definitely the best spot in Camden!!

One of the best curries I've ever eaten. I wasn't too sure on which curry to choose, so the woman very kindly allowed me to try each of them. I opted for the chicken coconut curry and it was delicious. A lovely blend of spices with a nice subtle sweetness from the coconut. The chicken was moist and melt in the mouth and the rice was cooked to perfection.

Definitely the best food in Camden, the beef with coconut was just delicious. Rich taste and good portion. Will go back next time!

Wow - this coconut curry is my ‘go to’ street food choice when in Camden. Its absolutely delicious. It has a nice kick and is served with plain rice. The carrots and cucumber are also a nice compliment to the flavours. I would recommend this dishes

GET THE COCONUT CHICKEN AND GET YOUR OWN SERVING, YOU WILL NOT WANT TO SHARE. Seriously though, it's the best coconut chicken curry I have ever had in my life, it's on a whole different level. Haven't tried anything else and probably never will because of how good this was.

I unfortunately had a bad experience with Makatcha. The food was nice but as soon as I started eating I found a plaster! A bit gross! I had it as a take away so was unfortunately unable to go back for a refund. I sent several messages to makatcha on Instagram and on their website but had no reply. Not a great experience!

Both chicken and beef are absolutely insane. The lady gave us a sample of both and it was just a "oh my god we need to buy a plate of this" look between us. Would 100% recommend buying a bowl.

My family and I had a brilliant day at Camden yesterday. my son and I had the coconut chicken curry and all I can say is wow! We were still speaking about it this morning! Brilliant food to round off a lovely day! Highly recommended!

Was absolutely happy with my first time order and on my second time ordering Nasi Goreng (with prawn added), something taste wrong. The prawn doesn't seem to be fresh, the dish was not as good as first time (a week ago) and I've had stomach discomfort after having the meal yesterday. This is really disappointing... :( please do not use nearly expire ingredients especially seafood.

I have been ordering here lately from Deliveroo. Not only is the food phenomenal, but there is always a personalised hand written note that comes with the order - what a way to provide great service during lock-down! I look forward to eating here in person when all this is over.

Went to rewind had these amazing currys 3 nights running as you cannot beat their flavours and value. Very friendly and helpful staff and will be coming back for more one day. Thank you for adding to a special weekend.

Nos atendió un chico español y moreno que nos enamoró con su manera servicial de ofrecer curry; curry que probablemente sea uno de los mejores que hemos probado. Delicioso es poco. El arroz estaba en su punto y la verdura guisada perfectamente servida en un pac que no parece grande pero tampoco es pequeño. Cocina muy mimada en un espacio ínfimo que compite con las de los demás países en un lugar mágico donde no hay fronteras pero sí todos los sabores que puedas imaginar. Un acierto.
