Beautiful food and service. Got staff curry

I visited this place because it was close to King's Cross Station and had good reviews. They were so friendly and the food was delicious. I recommend the butter chicken curry and garlic.

I got a butter chicken, lamb biryani and garlic naan. Me and my friend shared, we also got a vegetable curry for free. The butter chicken was so good, lots of flavour, really creamy as well as the biryani which was so nice paired with the butter chicken. The garlic naan was soft too. The staff were super friendly and our food didn’t take too long either.

Warm welcome. Very good quality food. Very clean, pleasant place. Customer-oriented staff. I highly recommend it.

Poor hygiene. Side bread that guests had only partially eaten was simply served to the next guest. The clean plates were stacked on the counter, each with napkins in between, which the waiter fished out of the basket containing previously used napkins. The crumbs were simply brushed off and placed between the clean plates. Both were unacceptable. The food was good, and so were the prices. Nevertheless, we won't be back.

Unforgettable Indian dinner last night in this cozy restaurant. I don't like taking pictures during meals but trust me, everything was delicious. Excellent service, discreet and fast. I highly recommend it.

Everything was perfect, although this charming restaurant is located on the edge of a noisy road, when you enter, you are immersed in the typical Indian atmosphere, we ate very well, it was very generous, we enjoyed ourselves, the staff is very attentive, we have rarely seen so helpful and attentive, we had a great time, thank you very much!

Scam! Offered us a light snack before the meal and did not inform us ahead of time we would be charged for it. Did not receive utensils and napkins. Tried to charge me a more expensive dish than the one I ordered. Disappointed, not coming back.

Looking for somewhere open after the theatre we stumbled across the Taj Mahal and what a wonderful find. Nothing was too much trouble even though we arrived as they would likely have been closing. The food was delicious and everyone was so friendly. We will go back.

Imran is the goat. I’m American so my British isn’t great but he made my night. This place was way better then the other 2 Indian places next door.

Had a fabulous meal here. My Mum and I shared the butter chicken curry and sides of aloo gobi and motor paneer. We also had poppadoms and peshwari naan. The service was delightful and the perfect location to have a meal before Mum had to get her train (2-min walk to Kings Cross)

This restaurant's high rating is unjustified. The service was slow. As for the food, it's okay but definitely not exceptional: the chicken pasanda advertised as "with nuts" on the menu had none (no slivered almonds or coconut flakes), the meat wasn't tender, the rice was average... At the end of the meal, the music was turned up at full volume, deafening. To encourage us to leave? Furthermore, this restaurant doesn't make espressos but serves filter coffees that are much worse. There was no soap in the women's restrooms. When it came time to pay, I "saw" the receipt without it ever being handed over, and before I even had to pay almost 30 euros, the server showed me a QR code to scan my satisfaction on Google...

It’s owned by Bangladeshi! It’s not Indian! Hands down the worst restaurant I have been too. I have a feeling they scam foreign tourist who visit London with what they portray as Indian food. The biryani was a sad attempt at a fried rice. The mixed veg vegetable curry was atrocious. The starters (especially the samosa chat) felt like they were heated up in a microwave. Do not recommend at all. The service was horrible. The waiters were unorganised and took forever to bring us our food. One of the waiter was also very rude when asking us for our table which was reserved for a friend who was running late.

We stumbled upon this place by accident while passing by, and we’re so glad we did! The guy there—Romeo—was incredibly friendly and recommended some food for us. Even the smell coming from the place made us hungry! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was warm and welcoming. It’s a great spot for takeaway, and we’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

I had my work leave dinner here a year ago in February and forgot to leave a review. I and all my colleagues were amazed with everything in this restaurant. The food was amazing and the staff had the best of service and were so kind and lovely atomsphere. 10/10. Would highly recommend!

We weren’t attended properly, had to nudge them thrice to take our order. And the service was so bad, starters, drink, main course, all of it took so long to arrive, and when the main course arrived it was a wrong order and not what we ordered. They gave peas and potatoes with biryani, and the onion bhaji was so oily and bad to taste. This isn’t definitely Indian food, will not go back ever again

I have almost tried all the dishes here, and the food is consistently very nice! The flavors are authentic and delicious. A special mention to the restaurant's Assistant Manager, Mr. Delwar, who provided amazing service and made the experience even better. Highly recommend this place!

Nothing Indian here, just a Bangladeshi kids running the restaurant here and spoiling Indias name. Poor taste and have to wait over 30mins for the mains to come which was again poor in taste. Not recommended to go.

Close to Kings Cross, this is a gem of a restaurant. All dishes are prepared fresh so they can tailor spices to your taste, and the staff are very welcoming. Will be back
