I ordered soft tofu stew, bibim naengmyeon, and kimchi pancake, and it was better than anything I had in Korea!! I got pickpocketed right before I came, but he gave me a lot of advice and was really kind!

I came because of Sunwoo, and it was nice to have Korean food after a long time. It was delicious haha. The kimchi pancake was really delicious.

This is the best Korean restaurant in the UK 🫶 It was more delicious than the restaurants I ate in Korea... Koreans, trust me, if you come to London, please come here!!! The owner and staff were very friendly, so I had a pleasant meal ❤️ I look forward to going again!

The Korean restaurant is located inside the supermarket, so head directly to the back. The Korean food here was authentic and tasty, but a word of caution: do not sit near the kitchen. Our table was next to it, and our clothes smelled of food for the whole day.

Made famous by the visit of a k-pop star (Jenny), it is however the food quality and taste that makes it worth a visit. Its very small and there is usally a queue. But its all worth it. Located inside a convenience store which itself is worth a visit

I went with two other people and ordered two Soontofu Jhigaes and the Jeyuk Dupbap. I should preface this by saying that I’m Korean and have had my fair share of Korean food. In all fairness, the jeyuk was good - the meat was tender and the sauce was tasty, not overly salty. But the tofu came down - oh my god. As other reviewers have mentioned and put up photos of, this dish should NOT have been called a jjigae. It was a watered down soup, at best. There was BARELY any tofu in there, I would say it would have used a quarter of a typical roll of tofu. If you order a jjigae, you’re expecting a bowl with lots of fillings inside and that is light on the broth, not a watered down soup. That dish was disappointing and a disgrace to Korean food. 한국분들, 순두부 ൭을 드시고싶지 이상, 여기서 순두부 찌개는 절대 시키지 마세요. ෸리고 우정식당 여사장닠, 어떻게 찌개같지도 않은 음식을 손닠 올리고 “맛있게. 잘 드셨어요?“ Do you have a friend? 그 순두부찌개는 한൭음식에 대한 이였어요. Are you looking for a dressing gown? The snow fell on the ground in the woods 요. The atmosphere of the restaurant was constricting. The restaurant is located in the basement of a Korean grocery store and there were not many seats and the tables were REALLY close to one another. In terms of the service, it’s a pet peeve of mine when I go to restaurants and water is not immediately served. We had to ask for water. After the meal when we asked for the bill and wanted to pay in cash, the server asked if we had the exact amount of the bill (ie they could not provide us with change for whatever reason?????). When we said we didn’t and wanted to still pay in cash, an older lady who appeared to be the owner came by and asked us to come upstairs to the grocery area so she could give us the change from there. I didn’t like at all that she made this seem as if she was doing us a favor. It’s within my right as a customer to pay in cash unless otherwise stated in your store policy (this was not stated nor written anywhere in the restaurant that they do not accept cash). Jjambbong with hangover was amazing… ! The kimchi fried rice was also really delicious. I think I'll go there to eat every time I go to London.

It’s better than Korean stir-fried pork. Female boss? The staff is so friendly When I heard that my phone was stolen, it was warm and gave me a great lecture on theft prevention ㅜㅜ It's near the British Museum. Try it after visiting the museum. Our family ordered stir-fried pork, soft tofu stew, kimchi stew, stir-fried squid, and beef stew, and the four of us ate it. Everything is delicious

Whenever I am in London, here is the best answer all the time. If you want to experience real Korean food, you must go there. You can't deny anything. Food makes you feel happy.

I really couldn't believe it, so I went and ordered stir-fried pork and jjamppong. The stir-fried pork was tastier than regular Korean restaurants, and the jjambbong was on the spicy but delicious side. I had a glass of somaek and it felt like I was in Korea. The owner was friendly and Korean, so the atmosphere was nice. It was the best.

Thanks to the pretty owner, the food is twice as delicious. They are friendly and the alcohol seems to be cheaper than other places. I ate well ~ The bathroom was clean too.

A small Korean Restaurant, we had Jeyuk-Deopbab, Jjambbong and Japchae. The Jeyuk-Deopbab was especially tasty and flavourful and good portion size. Jiambbong was ok, could do with a bit more noodle as portion was a bit small. The Japchae was good too. Affordable good food A+ with no additional service charges. The front entrance is a Korean supermarket and restaurant at the back of the supermarket and downstairs. No street parking. Nearest tube station- Tottenham Court Road and 3 mins walk.

This restaurant is located inside a Korean grocery store, with seating on both the ground floor and basement. All the food is delicious and feels like traditional Korean (not sure😅🤣). The staff are friendly and attentive, making it a great place to enjoy authentic Korean cuisine.

New update (6th October) I brought new people to this place because u thought It was one of my favorite Korean restaurants. But not anymore after this time. The service is absolutely amazing. I have to bring it down from 5 starts to 2 stars. This is because the portion of the bibimbap I got was like 7 spoonfuls. For £11. The vegetables are barely any. My friend’s kimchi fried rice was wet and moist? She didn’t end up finishing it either and usually we love Korean food and the food we ordered are what we are usually order else where. The fried chicken we got was not good. It didn’t look like the menu. It was just oily and sickly. We were hungry still and unsatisfied. And felt sick after. Korean chicken on the menu looks like the ones they sell in korea with breaded kfc like coating but here it looks smooth and just tastes oily. Not too bad but also not what we had expected for the price. The staff was so lovely. The guy who took our order is sweet about it when I asked about the portion size. The girl who took our payment was so lovely. Just the food needs improvement, we got told the chef just eyeballs the portions, sometimes less than usual. If portions changed drastically, why is the price fixed? I won’t be coming back after a while, would love to give it a try again but not after this. And to have called it my favorite place, is now disappointing… There was only 2 other tables, if it was busy, then it’s understandable about the food quality and portion. And also the staffs don’t get the tips, it’s really sad. I’m not sure how the manager is. It might be a family ran business. I think one of the photos of the old man who is one of the manger. The photos below are before I ate my bibimbap, i just mixed it. And that’s the portion size…. I know… shocking for £11/13. A month ago: Amazing food. Best Korean food I’ve ever had ( trust me I’ve had a lot!) the staffs are super nice, not sure if their name but they were really super sweet! The music is amazing, but the food- wow! I’ve already recommended this place to many of my friends already! Will be back here soon!

Delicious. We ordered four dishes in total and it cost us 50 pounds. Super traditional and artisanal. Excellent attention. Be careful, it's a little hidden. It is located in the back of a convenience store.

Came here for the naengmyeon. It was good, but not the best I had. The kimchi jeon were quite good however. Thin, soft but crispy on the outside.

From the generous and fun owners to the super delicious Korean food!! Tonight, I'm going to eat tteokbokki with ramen and cheese. As a fellow Korean, I don't want to say anything bad, but the quality of the food is terrible. I understand that there is almost no soft tofu in the soft tofu stew and only a lot of broth, and the pork cutlet is a frozen industrial product, but it is very thin and small, almost without meat. I was surprised that the sweet and sour pork was so soggy even though I received the sauce separately. Since I live in Europe, I've been to a lot of Korean restaurants here and there, so my standards are definitely not high, but as a Korean, this place is so embarrassing. The staff were friendly and nice, but I wish they put more effort into the food, which is the basics of a restaurant. I feel sad and regretful that the image of Korean food will be solidified in this way.

The two of us went and ordered kimchi, stir-fried pork, and rabokki. All three were very delicious... I was tired of Western food, but it was one of the best things I ate when I came to Europe. It's the most delicious and the taste is no different from what you get at Hangeum. I plan to go further during my stay in London. Of course the best Korean food

The best korean food i’ve eaten outside of korea. Really good, authentic korean cuisine with appropriate prices. Me and my friends shared two starters and had our main dishes and something to drink, came out between 20 to 28 pounds for each of us. It was absolutely delicious and the girl working was the sweetest! It’s underneath an asian supermarket which obviously means no windows, but that makes the charm of it and it really looks like it could very well be a restaurant in korea. A must visit when coming to london!

Of the many Korean restaurants I've been to recently, this was my favorite. As soon as I took a bite of kimchi stew, I felt like all the hardships of living in a foreign country had been completely cured! Today I ate kimchi stew, stir-fried pork, and kkanpunggi (this was a return visit less than a week ago...) and all three dishes were very delicious. I think I'll visit here often while I live in London. It was delicious!

It’s very affordable and the staff are amazing. one of the ladies came over and told us about the boyz Sunwoo being there the other day and showed us Sunwoos signed poster, she was so cute and made the experience so much better. Came here for early dinner and by the time we finished, the place is getting crowded. Koreans come here and Jennie of Black Pink came here to eat after her London concert. Food is very tasty and service is very good too. Since it was an early dinner, we didn’t order a lot but what we had, was very enjoyable. It is down at the basement so I do come out of dinner smelling like my food. But all good. 😊

The only house I went to two days in a row when I came to London! The reason is that it tastes better than the food I had in Korea. In Europe, the food is salty and spicy, but here it was not spicy and tasted better than in Korea. I really missed Jjamppong sweet and sour pork in the chilly London weather, but my wish came true. I especially liked that the owner was so friendly. It's a Korean restaurant that not only Koreans but also locals come to, so give it a visit! It was my first time eating Korean food in 3 weeks of travel, and it was really good!!

This was a Korean restaurant in London that I searched for and found after visiting the British Museum. The first thing I was surprised about was how many foreigners there were. I was impressed that the kimchi was better than what was served in restaurants in Korea. It was very satisfying, delicious, and the friendly staff were also great. I had a really hearty meal in London. I ordered kimchi stew (with rice) + stir-fried pork (without rice) + an additional bowl of rice. Be sure to try the stir-fried pork. After deciding to have Korean food for our last dinner before leaving London, I stumbled upon ‘Friendship Restaurant’. Because I read all the reviews, I was able to easily find the entrance. As expected, the power of reviews👍👍👍 And if you look closely at the entrance, there is a friendly signboard for Friendship Restaurant, so it wasn't difficult😊 As soon as we entered, we were greeted so warmly by a woman who was like an older sister and has been living in London for 27 years. (I couldn't even ask about her strength.) As soon as we met, she started talking about diabetes. I watched the video my husband took, and it took 27 minutes. ! I felt that much nostalgia in London, especially in restaurants. Actually, we came back from Barcelona after a month and have been to several Korean restaurants, but Woojung Restaurant was the first time we received such hospitality! I was so thankful that I found out about it on the last day, and I was very disappointed that I had to go on the last day! (I’m serious🩷) We ate stir-fried pork and kimchi fried rice. I fell in love with the taste and was impressed by the quantity👍👍👍 I want to go back and try all the other menu items. If I get a chance to go to London again, I will definitely go to Friendship Restaurant =33 Thank you so much~ Please stay healthy and stay there until the day we see you again.

I'm so sorry I found out so late! I visited 3 days in a row! Why does the pork rice bowl here taste like home! It tastes good and the price is good!

Rather than a restaurant, I think you can think of it as an extension of Gamaekjip.^^ If you think of it as a light Korean food and eat it simply, you will be satisfied. I went to dinner with my kids and there were too many young friends drinking, so I had an uncomfortable meal.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Woojung Restaurant on Tottenham Court Road, and it was an exceptional experience. I ordered the Jaeyuk Deopbab, and it was absolutely delicious—packed with rich, savory flavors and just the right amount of spice. The portion size was generous, and the presentation was spot on. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure that I had everything I needed throughout my meal. The atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and welcoming, with a cozy and modern vibe that makes it perfect for a casual lunch or a relaxed dinner. Overall, Woojung offers a fantastic Korean dining experience, and I’ll definitely be returning to try more of their menu. Highly recommend to anyone in the area!

There are some Korean restaurants that somehow tweak or compromise the taste, for some reason I don't understand (to appeal internationally?), but this is not one of them. Proper Korean food, Korean taste I'd say. It's not easy to have such a wide variety of menu and still be quite good overall (I've tried a LOT of different dishes). Also the portion is very generous for the price at such a location. Definitely my favourite whenever we visit London.

Dirty!!! Tastes average and the people were nice too. Slightly busy when I visited so the service was slow. Hygiene FAILED 🤮 They emptied the bin in front of the customers and had placed the dustbin lid on top of a serving food table right next to another customer. They saw this was being filmed but still continued. They had not bothered cleaning the tables afterwards and left it vacant for the next customer. If this was possible in the view if customers, I’m doubtful of their hygiene measures behind the scenes.

The quality of the rice is very low, but considering it is a foreigner, it is acceptable. The food tastes good, but there are no side dishes and the plating needs some improvement. I was guided to a seat in the basement, but if I had known it was underground, I would have gone to a different restaurant. Please note this for those thinking of using it.

I passed by this restaurant every time and thought about going there, but I finally went to Woojung Restaurant! This is where Blackpink Jennie also visited.. I was surprised when I saw the menu. A Korean restaurant with this price and this quality in the middle of downtown London... Plus, the staff were really friendly. I really like jjamppong, but I couldn't buy it at other restaurants because it was expensive, but I liked it because it was cheap and the taste was exactly the same as the one I had in Korea🥹 It's right near the British Museum, so it's easily accessible👍 I'll try another menu next time. I want to. Thank you so much for the delicious food^^

Friendship Restaurant, which I visited on the last day of my trip! When I travel, I don't often go to Korean restaurants (I don't often leave reviews;;) I was very, very satisfied with my last lunch choice on this trip to England. My husband and I ordered pork rice bowl and pork cutlet. Wow~! The seasoning for the pork was better than what you get in Korea, and the pork cutlet was very crispy, so I really enjoyed it! The staff are also very friendly. I think it was more comfortable because they spoke in Korean, probably because they knew I was Korean. I definitely recommend “Friendship Restaurant” in London, England!!

Several people went together and ate various things. Kimchi stew, stir-fried octopus, stir-fried pork. Bulgogi.. everything was delicious, but my favorite is Jeyuk! It tastes just like Korea!! It's a shame I don't have any pictures because I was busy eating it as soon as it came out. There is no service charge... Everyone working there is very friendly~ I felt the love and taste of Korea! I'm making a reservation for a return visit! Haha

During my business trip to England, I really wanted to eat Korean food, so I came to London and ate it. It tastes like eating in Korea.

I had cold noodles and bibimbap and both were delicious!! It was very convenient as it was located next to a Korean mart. The owner was also very kind and nice.

Nothing fancy, but worth a visit if you're nearby and fancy Korean food. There is seating either on the ground floor or basement, the latter which is shared with the supermarket. It's an unusual set up but I like the informal nature. The restaurant is also very proud that Jennie Kim visited; her party's menu is displayed on the wall.

Since I haven't had Korean food for a long time, I was looking for a Korean restaurant during my trip to England! I had a bit of a hard time finding it because it was in the basement after going through the entrance of the Asian Mart, which sells Korean food, but I think it would be good to keep this in mind. The two of us ordered soft tofu stew, bulgogi, and pork cutlet, and it was so delicious that we ate almost all of it. All three were delicious, but the spicy soft tofu stew was especially great..🤍 The staff are all very friendly and, as expected from a Korean restaurant, the food comes out really quickly... Anyway, it was nice to be able to eat real Korean food, which is not common🥰☺️

It's not four stars because the atmosphere is bad. Although the place is a bit small, there are a lot of customers... lots of customers means it's delicious~ The owner is really kind~ The food was good~ I was a little confused to find it, so I turned around, but when I came to the entrance, I didn't understand why I was wandering~ haha. There are even Korean groceries, snacks, drinks, and kimchi at the entrance of the mart.

Visited today for the first time, and my experience was excellent. Food delicious, service great, venue is small and intimate which to me is charming . Authentic korean food tasted AMAZING! Honest prices and you can taste the freshness in the food. Can't wait to return.

I visited because I was curious about what Korean food tastes like in London. I ate kalguksu, rice cake soup, kimchi stew, and LA ribs. Both the food and the taste were great. In particular, the LA ribs were really delicious. The kalguksu had a lot of seafood in it. The amount of kimchi stew was really large. The price was good for this price in London. The owner and staff were all friendly. I was especially happy to see the owner from Ulsan. Review from my 11 year old daughter I also had tteokguk (rice cake soup), and the rice cakes were really soft, and I ate it with rice, and it was really delicious. When I came to this restaurant after going to the British Museum, I was really thirsty and my legs were sore, but after eating rice cake soup, I felt better.

One of my favourite Korean restaurants in London! Personally being a BTS fan, I love going there apart from food being delicious,they have posters all around and they play k-pop music all the time. So you watch the videos while you eat. It's a good vibe. The food price is reasonable too! I would highly recommend it if you are a k-pop fan or love Korean food in general.
