Nice restaurant bit pricey food was good, table service for hot food. I use a stick to walk but no help in taking food and drink to table

Food is good. Speedy, ample full English delivered for reasonable price. Only downside is that dogs are not allowed in the restaurant unlike most other garden centres which can’t be related to hygiene because they allow children.

Good garden with a very nice cafe. Quite often, go to the garden centre and stop in the cafe for lunch or a cream tea and have not yet been disappointed with the food. However, it is a bit on the pricey side, and when busy service can be a bit slow but that can be expected. The cafe is nicely laid out with a small outside seating area and has free WiFi. Today, our server was Cassandra, a very nice young lady, very friendly on arrival, as were the other staff and excellent service.

I got very lucky with my timings as it was gloriously sunny as I stopped for an early lunch. Magnolias Restaurant was already getting busy so I headed outside to bask in the sun. The food was a good standard and the staff were very friendly

Popped in for a late lunch today, lovely staff very friendly! We both had coronation chicken panini with chips, one of the best I’ve had! Will definitely go back again soon! Was a bit pricey but then again everyone’s prices have gone up recently.

Coffee way overpriced, now £3.50 for a small latte, Costa £3.20 for the same! Also, witnessed staff eating food wearing her blue serving glove, who then rushed to help out ppl serving, by getting cake out, in the same glove! Also using her mobile phone, with same glove. Staff are lovely and friendly but prices and hygiene let it down now. Such a shame

Used to enjoying going there but it's gone downhill. The sandwiches used to be lovely with salad and some crisps. Now the price has gone up but the crisps disappeared. The staff take up the best seats (comfy/in the sun) at busy times and loudly swear and moan about work. And one member of staff demands your tray the moment you take your last sip

Tomato and pepper soup in minuscule bowl with a grotty brown roll, not mixed properly streaks of white through it. Pappy and horrible, can taste the cold where it’s been frozen.. £6.00 !!!! Total rip off !! The bowl has a thick base making it look bigger. Soup had a strange twang to it. Walking away very hungry!! So much for my treat to myself. Never again. I hate being conned

Cafe was unclean. Service really poor, no atmosphere, no welcome. Simple black coffee was weak and at £3 a cup a complete rip off. This place has such potential but seems to be lost, unambitious and scruffy. Real shame, missed opportunity to be brilliant instead of (charitably) mediocre.

We have been going to TGC for years, and often stopped at Magnolias. Only out of convenience, not preference. It has seldom been an uplifting experiance. It appears to be run by a large number of mature ladies who are probably excellent cooks and nutritionists in their own homes, and think it works in a mass catering establishment. The layout, the system, the customer awareness, just about everything about this place is amateurish and chaotic. On our last visit a week ago, we sat waiting for 20 minutes for our main meal, which gave us plenty of time to notice a considerable number of 'finished' plates being collected, with uneaten food left on them. We also noticed that hot, uncovered meals were being carried to the tables by the longest possible route. I went to the counter to enquire about our meals, producing our receipt, and after a few minutes was told our order did not exist, it had got lost between the counter and the kitchen, at which point we gave up and asked for our money back, and left.

Great location in this expanding part of north Norwich. However I would suggest they poll visitors re opening time. This area is expanding and getting busier and an opening time of 9.30 is I feel not early enough. My breakfast was good, served quickly and was very reasonably priced at just over £7. Not too much either. Staff were all friendly and helpful. I would go again.

Cappuccino was bean to cup at £3.00 not good enough, half cm of floating like substance on the top. Staff should know their coffees if you are going to offer a range. Scone was too salty, and over cooked, again at £3.00 this didn’t offer value with plastic pot of jam (it was jelly) should also note the Ivy’s afternoon tea is only a pound more !!!! And a dog walked through the prep area…..which is one thing but all the staff fussing it is another.

Cooked breakfast was very poor with soggy hash brown, cold fatty bacon.we were there 1st customers of the day?.Tea cake wasn't toasted properly. Why advertise homemade scones when they are never ready to serve once open.

Good coffee, filter can sometimes be tasteless. Staff a little young, witnessed a customer being ignored as 3 youngsters chatted. Admittedly they had just closed but nobody told the potential customer who was with a disabled person and stood at the counter with a tray. Need to be trained better in customer service.

Absolutely appalling. What a huge disappointment compared with the garden centre itself. Soup and roll (£4.50) were the nastiest, poorest quality products money can buy. The cappuccino(£2.50) not nice at all and spilt when delivered to our table!! Staff were inefficient and plainly not customer focused. I'm not ignorant or unsympathetic, but one member of staff, a young woman, busy clearing tables, calling customer's order numbers out and refilling the wood burning stove might be better employed elsewhere, maybe in the kitchen. That or at the very least it must be suggested that she wear a longer t-shirt that tucks into her trousers. The sight of buttocks is frankly unappealing at the best of times but certainly a restaurant is no place for it at all. Never going back here!!!

Went here today for lunch. Grumpy waitress alert! Food was not worth £22 paid. Scone was very dry, we asked for no salad with one of our panini and ended up with it anyway. The other panini should have contained brie and cranberry however I'm pretty sure it was some sort of jam instead. Not very pushchair and child friendly either. Will not be going again.

Frankly the slowest “fast food” I’ve ever experienced. Took over 10 minutes in the drive thru to even take my order, with a single car at the window in front. Food took another 15 minutes to arrive despite being a single meal. Just ridiculous.

We visited today, family of 3 and our dog who was allowed in the bar or in the beer garden. The beer garden is lovely with plenty of well spaced tables and for younger children lots of play equipment. Very clean and well kept. Ordering can he done via app at the table or in the bar if you want to order with a human 😉 It was fairly busy but our food and drinks came in a reasonable time and the food was lovely. Chilli burger , scampi and children's sausage. All was presented well and tasted great and was reasonably priced especially considering how overheads and produce prices have rocketed. We also saw the carvery which looked delicious too so may have to go back for that. Overall a great experience, we will definitely go back and would definitely recommend.

Lots of empty tables outside we thought we would stop and have lunch as the big a frame board outside stated home made lunches. My partner went in to get a menu only to be told we do not do food. Might explain all the empty tables. I would suggest removing the a frame advertisement as well to save wasting other peoples time.
