Fantastic foods with lovely staff. Had Irish breakfast and Omlet. Food was amazing 🤩. Highly recommended.

Nice food, the service a bit slow, though. Please, pay more attention to the customers. We had to ask for the bill 2 times and finally, we went to pay at the desk after 15 min. Also, you can’t leave one customer without food for 30 min… Food is delicious, portions are really good!

Good food and quick service. Milk shakes and all day breakfast are particularly good. Only negatives are booths can be restricted for those of us on the larger side.

Brutal. Don't go. Food so bad, raging I actually paid for this experience. Love Maggie Mays, but won't be back. Was told I could have said while eating as they could have done something about it. Straight away they should have refunded me, but didn't. Therefore really bad customer service also. Sorry Maggie's....

Belfast's very warm food place! Food is superb in hearty servings and big portions. Taste did not go off tangent even with such sheer size. Went for the Irish Breakfast as I was craving for some black & white puddings but took my friend's soda bread and potato bread off her Bumper Fry as I preferred them more than my white toasts! Service was all right they just seemed majorly understaffed. Can be a bit noisy when the place is full as it is small, cozy and cramped. As what you'd expect from a bar/small hearty place kind of setting. Some small notes: Club sandwiches look good. I'd recommend getting some milkshakes as they're famous for 'em (it was great the last I' ve had them - sweet and punchy). Would always come here when I feel like a famished food fighter looking to fill my hollow tummy!

Maggie May's came highly recommended so as soon as I got to Belfast I headed straight there for a very much needed fry since I'd been up since 2:30am. The service and food were both perfect. I had the Bumper Fry with a cappuccino and it was exactly what I needed to fill me up ready for a full day of exploring the city. I even made some changes to the Bumper Fry which was happily accommodated. It was cooked and on my table in a couple of minutes. The staff are lovely aswell so head on down and tuck in.

Best baps and fry here - And a huge selection of vegetarian/vegan options too. Nothing too complex, just reasonably priced, delicious food (and coffee)! If I ever come back to Belfast I'll eat here again, without a doubt.

Great place for an Ulster Fry or a good old feed. It's small but worth the wait as there are few other decent breakfast options around there. Very popular with students. Service a bit chaotic but they do shift a lot of food and tables.

After a long journey from the city of Dublin I went into Maggie May’s looking for the casual dining experience I crave. We ordered two breakfast sandwiches, the “Belfast Bap” and the “Filled Soda.” We also ordered a vanilla milkshake. Ultimately it was a good meal and provided the casual experience I sought. At some point during the process a drunken man walked in and began speaking to some of the other patrons. The staff handled him with high levels of decorum and respect. I was highly impressed at the diplomacy and speed with which they approached the situation.

Went to try the famous Irish coffee as place was next door from the hotel. Friendly staff and quick service, not much to say. Irish coffee was good(I guess) but won’t be drinking it again. Recommended

Food is delicious, staff were wonderful and the environment is welcoming, warm and pleasant. There is only one bathroom stall (gender neutral), and no disabled toilet. The bathroom that is there is very small and in a tight space near the kitchens. I think that's the only thing about this place that I dislike but it does not ruin the 5 stars I have given the place because its still brilliant and is fine as long as you use the bathroom elsewhere either before or after eating there.

We came here on a little one night break. Breakfast was stunning !! Full of flavour and load sof it . I've Never had beans and toast like it !!! We will definitely be back . I had 3/4 slices of toast with beans and cheese between each slice was lovely.

Family meal over Christmas. This little gem in Botanic has a wonderful atmosphere and great fresh food with great service.

Food was good, staff was not really friendly, were told we couldn’t pay with card then saw lots of people doing it and it was actually fine to pay by card (however minimum 10£ applies)

Nagyon aranyos csaj volt a pincérnő, aki remekül végezte a dolgát. A burger és a palacsinta is nagyon finom volt. A palacsintára még elfért volna dió, és eper is, de így is rendben volt. Reggeliző helynek is kiváló. Csak ajánlani tudom🙌🏼

We came Maggie Mays for breakfast before our flight back to London, they were lovely and accomadated all 7 of us and our luggage. Coffee hit the spot and thr food was amazing. They called Cabs for us too go get to the airport. Couldn't ask for much more. Thank you for making our last morning in belfast amazing and easy. Xxx

Visited this cafe a number of times whilst on a course in Belfast. Very handy if you're arriving on train from botanic. They've quite an extensive menu with a good selection for breakfast. It has a homely local feel yet attracts a wide variety of clientele including tourists. This is definitely a place for those who want wholesome cafe food.

I visited the restaurant on Wednesday evening with a group of adults with learning difficulties and I can't praise the staff enough, they were kind and helpful and the food was lovely.

Cosy little brunch restaurant with proper Belfast charm. The food is fantastic, especially the famous fry and anything involving chips. If you need a hearty, reviving meal, this is the place to go. It can get understandably quite busy though, so consider coming at non peak times!

Went in last night with a mate, had cheese burger meal deal and the burger was amazing. Chips done perfect and the service was great, thanks for advising not to have a milk shake before going drinking lol.

Place is small but absolutely buzzing. Food was great servers were lovely, only downside was it took almost 30 minutes for food to arrive. Definitely recommend!!

I had a disappointing experience at this café. The service was terrible, and to make matters worse, their "hot chocolate" was essentially just warm milk. On top of that, they only accept card payments for purchases over £10, which they failed to mention upfront. Definitely not worth the visit.

My visit to this café was absolutely dreadful! The service was shockingly bad, and their so-called "hot chocolate" was nothing more than lukewarm milk. To add insult to injury, they insisted on card payments only for amounts over £10, conveniently failing to mention this before.

I loved the marshmallow latta. An absolute must try!! The food was amazing as well. Friendly staff and a really nice atmosphere. Would highly recommend

Went in today for lunch with work colleague had to leave as the service was so bad 40 mins waiting on two Frys is a joke when the table next who came into store after us got served 1st. We will not be back.

When I first came to the restaurant I was really pleased to be offered an extensive vegan/vegetarian menu upon notifying the staff of my dietary requirements. The vegan biscoff milkshake was delicious. However after ordering eggs and toast I waited 30+ minutes to receive the order , when the order arrived to the table it had a big slice of bacon across the eggs. I was very unhappy with this service and simply quite baffled as to why they would add meat to a vegetarian specified order. They remade the eggs which took a further 10-15 minutes and honestly they didn’t even taste that great. Unfortunately my experience at Maggie mays was unpleasant & unprofessional. I will not be returning.

In at lunch. Had fish, chips and peas, £10.50 and chicken goujons (battered) with chips and choice of 2 dips, £10. Full plate. Food good. Reasonable price. Two cappuccinos at £3.25 each. Fast and friendly service. Will certainly call again.

Came in for an all-day breakfast,started good then I got my food and my eggs where under cooked the whites where still runny,I asked for them to be replaced the waitress did but same plate of food with the runny egg whites on the food still just with the eggs replaced,had to get my knives and forks because they had taken mine with the previous plate off food,then my girlfriend got charged 16 pound for a pancake 1 sausage 1 bacon two potato bread 1 sod,beans and scrambled eggs,girl serving didn't seem interested in our table or being there that day and it takes me alot to complain about a restaurant having been in hospitality for so long myself but very disappointed and don't think I'll be back

Nice food. Vegetarian options manageable but not the venues biggest selling point. Nothing identified on the menu. Fair time to wait both for seating and for orders to be taken. This visit was a Sunday morning so lots of deliveries on front of our order. Nice outside eating and managed to escape the showers. Coffee okay but not exciting nor could I find hot and or cold drinks on the menu. But would come again but would try and avoid busy times

Absolutely brilliant place. Food is outstanding and so many choices. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Went back twice and thoroughly enjoyed both visits. Will definitely be back next time I'm in Belfast.

Ordered Chicken goujons and chips. Goujon batter was so laced with salt it was hard to taste anything else. Been drinking buckets of water all evening after it.

This place is very much hit and miss. But today was a hit. Food was great today.

We were looking for a nice breakfast place and damn, we weren't disappointed. The Bumper Fry was sized like an average german dinner, incredibly delicious and rich. Service was very fast and attentive, although he forgot my coffee in the first place and I'm an addict, so I got a bit nervous ;-) But nevermind, it was a great experience. Highly recommended and if I ever visit Belfast again, I'll come back! Thanks guys!

Was pretty nice. Had a steak sandwich which was good. Had garlic chips which were good but quite a lot of smaller crispier chips. Overall id recommend eating here.

Stopped here for breakfast on a weekday. Menu is very large with a huge selection with vegetarian and vegan options. Food was pretty good and prices were more than fair. Staff was very friendly. Would recommend for a nice sit down breakfast joint especially if you have dietary restrictions.

We ordered the French toast with cinnamon, berries and mixed seeds and Hazel nut coffees...... there was no mixed seeds or cinnamon flavour off the French toast and no Hazel nut syrup in our coffees. The staff were pleasant and the cafe was clean but I'd think twice before going again. I dunno if it's because they were busy or because we're from Dublin and they heard our accent.

Good wholesome home-style faire at this hugely popular Belfast establishment. Very attentive staff. Varied menu. Outside covered seating excellent for people watching and provides shelter from our notoriously unpredictable weather.

The milkshakes were amazing, i had a banana one and my partner had the Kinder Kraze milkshake. Both were very lovely and not too expensive or sickly either. I also had the biscoff pancake arrangement and my partner had the regular pancake stack both were very lovely and i highly recommend. Lovely little place with cool decor and the staff were very nice and attentive and provided fast service. Highly recommend for brunch or breakfast.

Got all the good reviews from Facebook, we weren't, dissapointed. Had a family lunch, the food was good the service was great and the portion size fantastic. For me the outstanding dish was my breakfast burrito with the hot sauce dip. Try it there,s a magic that happens that I wish wouldn't stop. Go there if you are in Belfast.

Very cramped and took ages to be served. Pancake stack with maple syrup was just warmed in microwave, which made it very dry, and it disintegrated .

I ordered an Ulster fry and I thought it was not only delicious but the service is speedy and very responsive too, I was served with my food within 10-12 minutes of entering the restaurant which is excellent! It is however just a little cramped but this doesn't detract from the food or the service.......5 STARS
