Living locally this has been our number one place for fish and chips since it opened. We’ve never had a bad meal from here. Good portion sizes, well cooked from a friendly family business.

As stated in the title, after getting home to eat we were disgusted at the amount of grease it was all swimming in. None of the food had been given the chance to drain, leaving the batter soggy and saturated with grease on the fish. The chips were the same. I called the owner but she had no interest in offering to rectify the problem. The owners obviously no longer care about their customers of their business. The body language also suggested that they didn't really want to be there, and it showed in the food we received.

Lovely chips!! They use vegetable oil for cook the chips. Very fresh and are not soaking in oil - which is nice! Would recommend!

Enjoyed the fish and chips, they were hot, and batter was crispy, little bit greasy, but nevertheless were enjoyed

Clean and tidy premises, polite staff, good quality fish. They did us an un-battered haddock (always the mark of competent chippy). Nice sized portions, highly recommended.

We go here every week for take-away Tuesday, and we love it. Fresh-cooked food, good prices and great service.

I had never heard of this business until my wife had mentioned just how good it is. Very popular amongst her workmates at CITB and now, highly thought of by us. The two of us, and her friend who lives nearby, ordered a Chicken Kebab / Chips, Donner Kebab / Chips and Fish / Chips. The total order was around £20.00. Each choice was thoroughly enjoyed, the portions were very generous! Definitely suitable for bigger eaters and the food was tasty too, not at all greasy or salty. We had a little bit of a wait after placing our order but it was quiet that night so the food was more than likely being cooked to order.

Afternoon Tea for 2 - you're advised on sitting down that you only get 1 free drink with the Afternoon Tea. Unfortunately the pot of tea came up before the food. So we did end up ordering another pot (£5.50), to finish the food. Would have made a better impression if the tea was free, especially considering the low cost to make. You get 2 rounds of sandwiches, 1 fruit scone with jam/cream and 3 mini sized cakes each. Found the balance of sandwiches to cakes different to other Tea's I've had. Sandwiches were a bit slapdash. Some crusts left on, hardly any cheese in the cheese & caramelised onion. But loads of filling in the coronation chicken. Jam/cream portion just about adequate. Staff were very friendly and we were offered takeaway boxes, which we needed. Would not go for Afternoon Tea again. But might try the cocktails.

Visited in December: Not as good as it used to be, restaurant was cold, really cold. Food was average.

They squeezed us in at the last minute politely pointing out that we would only have 90 minutes before the table would be needed again. Very friendly service and food very much to our liking. We ate in the restaurant but the small "bathing hut" pods for two looked fun. I was obviously very impressed as this is by first review for about 10 years.

From the second we walked past I could tell this place was going to be good. Looking through the window it looked small but don't be fooled there is a middle terrace and an out door area complete with herb garden and flowers. We were just visiting Kings Lynn having never been to Norfolk before we were not sure about where to eat. Being vegan in a new place can be hard but our wandering route took us luckily past this place and we had no choice, we had to go in. Impressed with the artwork we were welcomed in with our dog and sat out the back in the small garden. The guy was cool and friendly and let us know where the local off licence was if we wanted beer (which I did on a releaxed Saturday afternoon). 2 doors down i found some beer and brough it back. Menu was impressive, there was loads to choose from and I could have tried all of it but I went for the Resist! Krispy Chickun Wrap and was not dissapointed. Generous serving and totally delicious. If I had known in advance I would have tried the primal burger challenge, What an idea. If we had been staying longer I would have gone back for more food. Good to meet other people who care and are doing the right thing. Very delicious, relaxed and fun. If I could give it ten stars I would. Thanks for a great lunch and helping us enjoy our time.
