Order large meals and get smalls phone up and they said a larger is the same as a small Never heard this rubbish before been using the place for years but won't be anymore Don't waste your money find a different place to order from

very disappointed, AVOID AVOID AVOID, took over 2 hours to deliver when I live 10 mins away from the shop, curry sauce leaked all over the bag, ordered their "recommended" lamb biryani and expect something special, no, blandest thing ever, no flavour, and very chewy/tough don't know what they're recommending with that one to be honest, to sum up disappointing food paired with abysmal delivery times

Balti was very bland, flavourless and no spice at all. Was almost just like a carrot soup but without the depth of flavour. Kebab was nice though. Had a madras a few weeks ago and it was full of flavour and hot so not sure why tonight’s curry was so bad.

Very late - no communication. Cold when delivered.

Kebab was so dry , nan bread tasted funny & all the food was cold so much so the chips were mush!

Food is much better, never ordered for a while as quality was poor. Glad to say tried again and last to orders were good. Thanks.

Honestly not a speck of dirt in the place and I’ve not eaten it yet but the smell is tantalising honestly service is the best thing about this place, I change my mind I have had the food and now the service is the second best thing at the establishment the food is honestly fantastic and very fairly priced

Usual fast delivery but unusually disappointing in regard to the meal itself. Curry container was only half full which made it very dry and the chips were pretty cold.

Wasn't that keen on the pizza the crust was really thick and not enough cheese

This lamb curry was so delicious the lamb was cooked perfectly the rice was cooked perfectly and the sauce was lovely compliments to the chef

Spent a year trying chicken kebabs in different restaurants/takeaways every week & not one comes close to madras Baillieston,,loads of big tasty chicken,plenty of lovely fresh salad,& the sauce is the best &pitta bread, ,,big portions aswell,,,definitely THE BEST,,fantastic staff aswell,,try for yourself,,thanks,,

Always a friendly service lads always serve with a smile and chat away when not to busy. Massive fan of their Chicken Tikka best about so any curry with Chicken tikka is always nice and if your not wanting a curry a chicken tikka kebab is my go to. Been eating out here for 20 odd year and I've been about and the quality just isn't the same as Madraa Cottage any where else. So I stick with what I know.

Everything about it was disgusting ordered a 12inch donner meat pizza got a 16inch instead as they had no 12 inch pizza slices weren't sliced pizza is just a mess with topping dumped ontop the chicken pakora tastes like its been sitting for a week pizza seems undercooked at the dough and kebab meat completely burnt to a crisp. Everytime I have gave this place the benefit of the doubt I absolutely regret the waste of money!! Would advise to avoid madras cottage

Food is good sometimes, i always ask for extra meat and pay extra, but last few times they haven't delivered properly. Food can be 7/10 some days But 5/10 most days

You have to try Madras. The burgers, the chips, I don't know how they do it, but they're amazing. It's made even better by the fact that the burgers are cooked perfectly by the small dragon there, her name is Scarlet. At Madras you get a real burger. Not some tiny two bites "burger" that McD.. Somewhere else will give you, but you're hungry again 10 mins later. Delivery is also very quick. Say hello to Scarlet. I'm the pickiest eater ever. That tells you all you need to know if I'm saying this.

Couldn't eat the fish and chips was polluted in salt 😞 and the Lamb in the curry wasn't the best 😔

Nice spot, clean and the food smells great...even though I'm a wee bit addicted to the burgers mostly. The chips are that perfect colour, and they taste as good as they look. I do feel bad for the wee potatoes who are sacrificed for this... Let's face it, though, they're a bunch of spuds. The burger was amazing, asked for extra cheese, was told, of course. Staff were great, polite.. Listened to my nonsense without complaint. That's impressive. Definitely recommend the burger, I'd swear it was cooked to perfection by pure dragon fire (I also know they have a dragon in the shop. They have a licence, relax). Her name is Scarlet and she's adorable.

Extra cheese on burger please. It was awesome. I'm convinced that the ingredients used, come from the heavens themselves... Though the salt I use on the chips? You will give me a heart attack. Ugh, I can think of worse ways to go.

The burger with the extra cheese I requested was... I wish I had te words. So, we'll say 10 out of 10. As for the chips? Chips are chips right? Nothing special? Wrong. Soft, made to the perfect colour. If you haven't tried a Madras burger? You've no idea what you're missing. I don't care if I get fat sitting eating them, it'll be worth it. It also won't be gluttony, cos I'll exercise😁Just enough. Honestly, since I came back from Canada, I haven't found a burger to match. Thanks for reading.

Food was not great. Pakora was burnt and dried up and the kebab meat was that hard and dried up you could have snapped it.

Chips were perfect, burger... Made me wish I had two. I don't care if that sounds greedy, it was great. Keep it up, guys.

Best tandoori dishes in Glasgow.

The staff are extremely friendly and polite.The food is to die for some of the curries in this place are unlike anywhere else.They have a fantastic delivery service as well there is a young boy who has been working there for years and is an all round well mannered boy.Most of the time the deliveries are there within half an hour.If you are looking for a high quality service and product then this is the place to go.Their delivery radius is fantastic as well as they deliver to me in tollcross.

Under cooked pizza, ordered @ 23:05 and was delivered @ 23:30 even tho we live 2.3 miles from shop ??........dough on pizza Half cooked.....AVOID !!!!

Disappointing. Haven't used this place for ages, and I am wondering if this was the reason why. 10" veggie pizza was very bland. Well presented and looked good, but it wasn't all that. Liked the style of pizza being deep dish, but had no taste. French fries were very expensive, although they were seasoned well. Overpriced for what it was. Cash payment only. Wouldn't use the place again. Ballieston has a number of options for food on the main street. Dominoes would have been a much safer option.

I’ve made a complaint via just eat, my lamb was very tough and rice hard, vegetable pakora overcooked. My son’s donner hoagie was flavoured with spicy chips that Ja’s not been the cast previously. Very very disappointed meals straight in the bin.
