Taste Of India in Glasgow City

I ordered a korma and thinking it would be a little bit mild as some places do a mild korma but this was so so spicy it had me sweating and later on the night it gave me chronic diaherra so I don't recommend, oh and also took 2 hours to come which I don't know why.

Food is nice, friendly staff, fast service.

Stopped on the way home absolutely starving - mixed pakora with 2 snack box curries - absolutely dynamite 😊 highly recommend.

Got a pizza came and can tell it's not a fresh base defo just one they bought and put toppings on spicey chicken not spicey and also wanted Donna meat but theres very little bast is really doughy dont reccomend best thing was delivery was not long

Hands down the worst takeaway pizza I’ve ever had. Inch thick, pre-made base which was bone dry and completely tasteless with a tiny amount of cheese. Won’t be ordering from here again.

They clearly just chucked spices in to add flavour bcoz it was tastless. Place should be shut down. Didnt even get 40% for spending over £25 either. Absolute disgrace.

Food quality and quantity was great, Staff was very friendly when collecting.

I don’t say this lightly, nor sober, but the mixed calzone out here is the best thing you will ever eat. Trust.

Used this place for years but going downhill. Ordered chips, cheese, kebab meat & sauce. A tiny sprinkle of cheese hidden under kebab meat & no sauce!!

The Pizza base was one of those bought in half inch thick jobs. The Cheese was not a Pizza Cheese so it had set hard, so when you took a bit of it, all of the toppings slid off the base. Pre-cooked dry chips. Standard cash n carry Donner meat with bits of bone through it. Tiny pieces of Chicken in the Mixed Kebab. The Lamb tasted more like Mutton. Everything in our order was sub-standard. There was no quality in any of the items. Everything just tasted cheap, probably because it was bought cheap.

the curries are excellent, but I would not order a pizza again. pre made bottoms. would be amazing if they made their own, due to the toppings being great.

Late today but normally arrives early. The food was amazing as usual and I will order from them again.

Food was great. Healthy portion sizes on the curries and chicken pakora (large) and unlike many other places there was no puddle of grease on the curry. My main curry sauce was fresh and gingery, very nice and I had enough to keep some for lunch tomorrow :) Will order again!

Ordered a set meal when we opened the Rogan Josh was like dishwater we called and were told don’t worry it’ll be all right to eat I said no thanks can you just get the driver to call back and we’ll take a refund. He said no the drivers to busy so he’ll leave a note to give us £7 off our next order I said so what do I eat tonight then. And also I paid for a full meal so I’ll take a taxi down to you shop and give you the food back and you can refund me the cost including the Taxi He refused saying fine bring it back but I’ll only give you the refund for the food not the taxi. I arrived 20 mins later with his rotten curry he just handed me the food refund and walked away. Do not use this shop !!!!

I have used this restaurant many times , usually ordering throgh the website and was always decent, however after waiting over 2 hours for delivery , i called to ask if my order was going to be delivered , i was told they never got my order and couldnt assist ( although money was taken) when trying to explain the situation to Ali ? To try to come to a reasonaI outcome I was spoken to in a very abrupt and unprofessional manner with no customer service , i wont be using the restuarant again , fortunately the website provider has assured a refund.

Hi, i ordered my food & within 10 minutes it had been delivered. Obviously this is great timing but as you might see my issue here … the food wasnt fresh! The chips were undercooked and the whole hoagie only seemed hot due to the cheese melted on it! Im highly disappointed

Best curry I have had in a while. The chicken tikka kerala was spot on flavour wise and so good to eat tasty chicken pieces and just the right amount of spice. Rice was great, as well as the spiced onions to get us started. Will definitely order from them again.

I usually love taste of India and order regularly however tonight’s was not up to standard at all. The pizza deal I got for the kids was great pizza was lovely and chips where nice. My older child got chips cheese n donner and I got a hoggie and the meat tasted and smelled foul! I should really have contacted the shop but I had to bin the meat due to the smell and taste really gutted as I do really like this takeaway and as I said order often. Hope this is a one off

Microwave chicken tikka . I asked why it was so dry and not chargrilled . Seemingly they do it in the tandoor. Worst chicken tikka av ever tried

Total chancers in here. Drove back from Edinburgh late last night, sent my boyfriend in for a mixed pakora around 12.30am and they charged £9! They must have thought he was steaming and they would just take advantage. Wouldn't bother leaving a review if the pakora was good but it was meh.

Food was nice, however we got a message to say the order was delayed so I called them and my husband picked it up instead. We were still charged for delivery even although we collected the order and my husband had to ask about the juice that was included in the munchie box as this was also forgotten.

Sorry guys, I was so disappointed with my meal tonight. I ordered the one container curry & I was lucky if a quarter of the container was curry - there was one chunk of lamb & not even a large chunk..... it was so dry. In ordering the all in one container meal, I was expecting/wanting a smaller portion (at least half curry & half rice, as I've had many times before) but to receive basically an all rice dish is not what I paid for..... I am now left feeling annoyed, unsatisfied & actually ripped off!!

Good food but got the sauces wrong

What a shambles. Ordered through just eat. Ordered a chicken nuggets meal, a cheeseburger meal, veg pakora, a donner kebab and a chicken tikka kebab. Ended up with 2 donner kebabs. I phoned the shop and after trying to understand the man on the phone he wanted to rectify the order by send me another donner kebab…hello it’s the chicken tikka that is missing!!! I have been a customer of this take away for umpteen years but in recent times they have went right down hill. I wouldn’t recommend this take away to anyone I really liked!

I ordered a chicken nugget meal which was delivered I also ordered a cheese burger meal which was also delivered. I also ordered veg pakora, a donner kebab and a chicken tikka kebab. I received the veg pakora and 2 donner kebabs. Ordered this through just eat and in order for you to get your money back for a wrong order you have to jump through hoops! Take pictures etc… just get the order right in the first place! Phoned the shop and they were desperate to right the wrong order but wanted to send me another donner kebab!!! I have used this restaurant for years but it has went right down hill and will never use it again and would never recommend it to anyone I liked!!!

First time ordering from Taste of India and my goodness both me and my husband said that this was the best kebab meal that we have ever had, the kebab meat and chicken were amazing, Nan bread amazing, pakora amazing honestly please don’t change love love loved it, delivery exactly on time couldn’t ask for anything better will definitely order again 🙌

Normally absolutely delighted with taste of India food however very sadden that we were charged for our can of irn bru that we did not receive.

Our food was very nice and hot enough. When I ordered the delivery time was estimated at 8.30-8.50. We received it at 9.20. That was an hour an 35 minutes after ordering 😳

Our order took a while to get here and once it arrived they delivered the wrong items. We called them and advised they had missed two items of our order and the one they did deliver was wrong they questioned us and and said we were wrong until they read the order details and realised we had. They took another twenty minutes to deliver the right food and asked for the food they delivered in error back. Shocking service. Would think twice before ordering again.

Food was lovely, however I paid for the tea time special “tikka dishes” but the lamb and the chicken was not tikka.

The Delivery was left on my doorstep!! Then when I was eating the “Bombay Chicken”…what I had originally thought was pieces of Chicken turned out to be “Boiled Egg” halves!!!! I was disgusted!! I feel utterly cheated!!

Used to order from this take away all the time, had a few bad experiences so I stopped. Decided to give them a second chance due to the only place being open late. Placed an order and was told it would Be around 40 mins. Called to see where the food was as I had guests waiting. First time I called I was told food should be with me soon as the driver just left. Waited a bit longer then called back again to get an update and the attitude of the guy was horrible, no regard for customer service. Is a miracle this place is still open if that’s how they treat their customers. I just cancelled cause the staffs attitude was stinking. Driver turns up to my door with the food anyway told I cancelled then he just storms off. Good luck to these guys, if they speak to customers like that I don’t think they’re going to get much business.

Quite possibly the worst pizza I’ve ever had. Was like something you’d get in school. The base is pure bread, clearly frozen, there wasn’t enough cheese on it to cover the pizza and the kebab meat had actually been chopped up into tiny bits to save money. Laughable. 0/10. Would not recommend

Chips total re heat with pakora batter greasy worst chips ever! Kebab mixture of thick and thin meats! Pakora just no comment.... never order again!

Kebab was horrible was all shredded and cold, when i asked for fresh stuff, pakora was chewy

Munchy box was cold it was not kept in a heat bag, didn't recieve pakora sauce and 3 pieces of chicken tikka in my curry and chips were reheats shop was closed couldn't contact anyone
