Food was delivered hot, fresh and on time by a lovely driver, we will defo order again

Pizza disgusting, not fresh dough, tasted like cardboard

Late today but normally arrives early. The food was amazing as usual and I will order from them again.

Food was great. Healthy portion sizes on the curries and chicken pakora (large) and unlike many other places there was no puddle of grease on the curry. My main curry sauce was fresh and gingery, very nice and I had enough to keep some for lunch tomorrow :) Will order again!

Ordered a set meal when we opened the Rogan Josh was like dishwater we called and were told don’t worry it’ll be all right to eat I said no thanks can you just get the driver to call back and we’ll take a refund. He said no the drivers to busy so he’ll leave a note to give us £7 off our next order I said so what do I eat tonight then. And also I paid for a full meal so I’ll take a taxi down to you shop and give you the food back and you can refund me the cost including the Taxi He refused saying fine bring it back but I’ll only give you the refund for the food not the taxi. I arrived 20 mins later with his rotten curry he just handed me the food refund and walked away. Do not use this shop !!!!

I have used this restaurant many times , usually ordering throgh the website and was always decent, however after waiting over 2 hours for delivery , i called to ask if my order was going to be delivered , i was told they never got my order and couldnt assist ( although money was taken) when trying to explain the situation to Ali ? To try to come to a reasonaI outcome I was spoken to in a very abrupt and unprofessional manner with no customer service , i wont be using the restuarant again , fortunately the website provider has assured a refund.

20 minutes late after latest delivery time

Hi, i ordered my food & within 10 minutes it had been delivered. Obviously this is great timing but as you might see my issue here … the food wasnt fresh! The chips were undercooked and the whole hoagie only seemed hot due to the cheese melted on it! Im highly disappointed

Best curry I have had in a while. The chicken tikka kerala was spot on flavour wise and so good to eat tasty chicken pieces and just the right amount of spice. Rice was great, as well as the spiced onions to get us started. Will definitely order from them again.

I usually love taste of India and order regularly however tonight’s was not up to standard at all. The pizza deal I got for the kids was great pizza was lovely and chips where nice. My older child got chips cheese n donner and I got a hoggie and the meat tasted and smelled foul! I should really have contacted the shop but I had to bin the meat due to the smell and taste really gutted as I do really like this takeaway and as I said order often. Hope this is a one off

Microwave chicken tikka . I asked why it was so dry and not chargrilled . Seemingly they do it in the tandoor. Worst chicken tikka av ever tried

Had a set meal for 2 which included chicken pakora, two curries (chicken chasni and lamb rogan josh) and naan and rice.

Food was nice, however we got a message to say the order was delayed so I called them and my husband picked it up instead. We were still charged for delivery even although we collected the order and my husband had to ask about the juice that was included in the munchie box as this was also forgotten.

Total chancers in here. Drove back from Edinburgh late last night, sent my boyfriend in for a mixed pakora around 12.30am and they charged £9! They must have thought he was steaming and they would just take advantage. Wouldn't bother leaving a review if the pakora was good but it was meh.

Sorry guys, I was so disappointed with my meal tonight. I ordered the one container curry & I was lucky if a quarter of the container was curry - there was one chunk of lamb & not even a large chunk..... it was so dry. In ordering the all in one container meal, I was expecting/wanting a smaller portion (at least half curry & half rice, as I've had many times before) but to receive basically an all rice dish is not what I paid for..... I am now left feeling annoyed, unsatisfied & actually ripped off!!

Good food but got the sauces wrong

I ordered a chicken nugget meal which was delivered I also ordered a cheese burger meal which was also delivered. I also ordered veg pakora, a donner kebab and a chicken tikka kebab. I received the veg pakora and 2 donner kebabs. Ordered this through just eat and in order for you to get your money back for a wrong order you have to jump through hoops! Take pictures etc… just get the order right in the first place! Phoned the shop and they were desperate to right the wrong order but wanted to send me another donner kebab!!! I have used this restaurant for years but it has went right down hill and will never use it again and would never recommend it to anyone I liked!!!

What a shambles. Ordered through just eat. Ordered a chicken nuggets meal, a cheeseburger meal, veg pakora, a donner kebab and a chicken tikka kebab. Ended up with 2 donner kebabs. I phoned the shop and after trying to understand the man on the phone he wanted to rectify the order by send me another donner kebab…hello it’s the chicken tikka that is missing!!! I have been a customer of this take away for umpteen years but in recent times they have went right down hill. I wouldn’t recommend this take away to anyone I really liked!

First time ordering from Taste of India and my goodness both me and my husband said that this was the best kebab meal that we have ever had, the kebab meat and chicken were amazing, Nan bread amazing, pakora amazing honestly please don’t change love love loved it, delivery exactly on time couldn’t ask for anything better will definitely order again 🙌

Normally absolutely delighted with taste of India food however very sadden that we were charged for our can of irn bru that we did not receive.

Our food was very nice and hot enough. When I ordered the delivery time was estimated at 8.30-8.50. We received it at 9.20. That was an hour an 35 minutes after ordering 😳

Our order took a while to get here and once it arrived they delivered the wrong items. We called them and advised they had missed two items of our order and the one they did deliver was wrong they questioned us and and said we were wrong until they read the order details and realised we had. They took another twenty minutes to deliver the right food and asked for the food they delivered in error back. Shocking service. Would think twice before ordering again.

Food was lovely, however I paid for the tea time special “tikka dishes” but the lamb and the chicken was not tikka.

The Delivery was left on my doorstep!! Then when I was eating the “Bombay Chicken”…what I had originally thought was pieces of Chicken turned out to be “Boiled Egg” halves!!!! I was disgusted!! I feel utterly cheated!!

Quite possibly the worst pizza I’ve ever had. Was like something you’d get in school. The base is pure bread, clearly frozen, there wasn’t enough cheese on it to cover the pizza and the kebab meat had actually been chopped up into tiny bits to save money. Laughable. 0/10. Would not recommend

Chips total re heat with pakora batter greasy worst chips ever! Kebab mixture of thick and thin meats! Pakora just no comment.... never order again!

Munchy box was cold it was not kept in a heat bag, didn't recieve pakora sauce and 3 pieces of chicken tikka in my curry and chips were reheats shop was closed couldn't contact anyone

asked for a garlic naan and the naan bread had enough garlic to sleigh 1000 vampires , no need what so ever , usually love this place but not happy Pakora sauce very runny too

terrible attitude terrible service forst time used them and never received food. said driver called me 3/4 times I had no calls and was looking out for driver the whole.time as I havent used before the attitude stinks never ever use again an certainly wont recommend... waist of time

Jumbo mixed kebab was just a mountain of doner with 3 bits of chicken and 2 small bits of lamb tossed in.

Use ready made pizza bases, which made the pizza taste awful and dry.

The curries are very good from this take away , as is the various types of rice .

I would not recommended this place to anyone. The “onion baghi” was basically just flour, it was so dence, thick and soggy. North Indian Garlic Chilli Lamb was a tragic, the lamb was gross, the sauce was terrible, certainly did not resemble what I know to be North Indian Chilli, the Nan was doughy. I will definitely not order from here again. Terrible food made with terrible ingredients to turn a buck.

First time ordering from here and last ,service was great, the food was hot and delicious except for the donner meat that was inedible, I don’t know what meat they use but it’s disgusting, I would say order if you’re not having donner meat as everything else was delicious.

Food was okay, however I asked for things to be taken off my order and they were not so over all a bit of a waste of money and food. Don’t see the point in giving options if you aren’t going to listen to them.

Always have lovely food from here. Every tee ordered was lovely and fresh. We have never had a bad meal. Thoroughly recommend to anyone.

Food was good except the donner meat , you have clearly changed over to the cheap nasty tasteless donner it had to got in the bin even the dog would not eat it.

Lamb was tough and chewy like mutton , ! I wonder !

Have ordered from here before. Food this time was not good. Pizza almost burnt and chicken pakora very dry and chewy. Donner kebab was okay. Such a shame.
