Madina Grill in Newcastle upon Tyne

The food is horrible, the chicken thikka wrap smells like raw meat, fried chicken not fried at all 🤮 and mint and chilli sauce it's not even sauce it's flavoured water with colour. Finally a waste of money..

Madina grill is the takeaway we always make a detour to when we can. The food is always brilliant and the service is speedy. It's cash only which is worth noting before you head inside but there are cash machines nearby. MASALA FISH - The dish that is so good you order it every time 🤤

My food was absolutely disgusting and freezing cold and 1 meal was missing

food is beautiful. but delivery was over an hour n 15 mins. Altogether came to £16.90 n i always give a tip the driver came to the door said he doesn't know how much it was n when i said tKe £18 he went to the car and rummaged about came back and hoyed £1.10 back at me and says sorry that's all a can give you!! what on earth i thought delivery drivers were never short on change!

The fish taste more salty and it was oily

the food was very nice it was a bit late but I order 10 inch margarita and a 10 inch garlic bread which cheese I got 12 inch that's what I call great service for a place that puts there customer first highly recommend

I am very unhappy with delivery. Ordered with plenty of time. Very unhappy with just eat saying it’s been delivered. When the food was not delivered. Only when queried then was told it’s not been sent. Not happy at all

Avoid. Ordered through Uber, big mistake. Order missing extra chips and sauce. Pizza was average at best, Tikka wrap was horrific. Tiny for a start, 5 pieces of gristly chicken, that wasn't even Tikka, six chips and swimming in garlic... got the cheek to charge almost a tenner for it. Awful.

absolutely shocking. food was over an hour late and when arrived was missing pizzas and all food was cold. the curry had spilt all over so everything was greasy and covered in sauce. will never order again . massively disappointed and couldn't even call for an update as they never answer the phone and when they do they hang up on you!! avoid ordering unless you want to wait and wait for cold and missing items

Chips were stale horrible and clearly reheated. Fish was crispy and overcooked the grill boti wasn’t fresh as stated in the description. Pizza was burnt although they sent 2 (i ordered one) the second one wasn’t much better at all, absolutely awful. The only decent thing was the margarita pizza.

The food here is nice but the last few times we have ordered the delivery time took ages especially the most recent one it took over 2 hours to come and was cold :(

Waited 2 hrs for delivery and the food was rotten!! £25 worth of food and now me and my 8yr old daughter are ill from it, never ordering from these again. Worst experience from a takeaway ever!! Sat here with hot and cold sweats, my little one has the runs and is complaining of a really bad stomach... food poisoning st its worst. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR HEALTH!!!

Took 2 hours to come, said it was on its way didn’t come for another 50 minutes, got here absolutely freezing cold, women on the phone rude doesn’t have a clue

ordered food for delivery at 1300 as it said available, waited for over an hour then rang the shop to ask how long much longer my order would be, the person on the phone said the delivery driver doesn’t start until 3pm!! doesn’t say nothing about that just lets you place your order and sit and wait like a muppet for no reason whatsoever. a hope people read these reviews cos they’re obviously in no hurry to deliver food under 2 hours, people need to avoid using this place if you don’t wanna wait!

Not enough cheese on the tikka pizza as well as the calzone with too much tomato sauce in the calzone and not stuffed with chicken

Yesterday evening, I bought chicken curry for my family and a guest from overseas. Unfortunately all of us including guest suffered from tummy pains and diarrhea. My both kids had several episodes of diarrhea. I WILL NEVER SHOP AGAIN

Waited best part of 2 hours for delivery and it really wasn’t worth it. Garlic sauce tasted like Caesar dressing. Naan was both burnt and stodgy at the same time and the quality of meat was shocking. Only saving grace was the samosas which were good, but overall a terrible experience.

I ordered the chicken tikka portions which was expensive for just some diced chicken the photo shows that it comes with naan bread, it didn’t! I ordered garlic mayo I received 4 pot of different dips. Food was cool and didn’t look at all fresh. Wouldn’t recommend.

Fantastic food and very generous

My food was wasted due to late delivery the food was cold and spilt. I made the order at 10pm and I start chasing the at 11 they are so rude. I received the food at 12:15

It took nearly 2 hours for it to be delivered half my food was cold and not cooked properly and half my food was burnt. I’ve got photographs to prove it.

Food never came apparently they handed it to someone coming to my door ? I was just going to complain with just eat then they came asking for money!

I'm not a one to leave an awful review but you really need to up your standards, portions were ridiculously small for the price and the food was just awful. I have orderd from you many times before and I am so disappointed in what you served me today. My fault for not reading the reviews it would have never ordered in the first place.. I have ordered for here many times and they have always been late this time it did not even come or turn up called the takeaway and they were going to call the driver then call us back no call back and then they just ignore your calls not going to ordering for here again we have had to order for another takeaway

wrong food delivered to start with was also inedible nothing like any previous order ive ever had. litrally looked half eaten. put in a complaint was refunded 99p for a 17 pound order I've ordered from this restaurant for years via telephone and just eat never had a problem my order looked liked I'd recived a member of staffs half eaten supper absolute disgrace after years of being my go to take away I will never order again loyalty means nothing and to receive 0.99p refund is an absolute joke

Again, this was the worst order I have had. I responsibly say; whoever read this review if you dont want to ruin your day, please do not order from this restaurant. This is not a good restaurant. I dont know why Just Eat app include such quality less restaurants. Thanks

Took over 2 hours to arrive, Ordered bbq chichen pizzas and a garlic bread with cheese which was all burnt all 3 of them,the mixed kebabs the chicken was the weirdest stuff I've saw undercooked and had a paste texture with a thick coating of undiscribible paste like stuff,spent 39 quid for the pleasure, aviod

Sadly the pizzas and chips are w ell over cooked really disgusting it ruined my kids treat, it never used to be like this guys it's not the first time the pizzas have been so burnt we couldn't eat them also the rice in my byriani was nice I came here for over 10yrs plus and hope I will still buy and enjoy the food as we all make mistakes

never had a korma that is bit spicy think need to use different chicken for korma as it was spicy chicken and shouldn't be at all and carton of rice was bit on small side.

If I was yous I wouldn't waste my time ordering from this place , placed my order and was meant to be out for delivery, 1 hour and 15 minutes later still no delivery, tried ringing the shop 12 times and no answer wouldn't waste your time

I had the Madina mix grill … and Wow it was delicious and plentiful. I can honestly say that was the best takeaway i have had in Years..

1st time trying here and the food was beautiful, large amount of meat in our meal, will defo come back

Took over an hour for chips as they forgot my nanbab had to wait an extra 40 minutes on top for that to be delivered!

Really good quality apart from some small chicken bones but delivery was far too long from being ordered before tea time.

Absolutely loved this place, after trying a few other grilled places and understanding Madina Grill is far the best place for food. Ordered a peri grilled burger and the flavours was so delicious, portion sizes amazing which left me craving more. From now on Madina Grill will be my first to go for a cheeky takeaway from now on😍😝 10/10 5*

my order arrived late, the kebab wrap had about 3 chips in it, it was meant to have massala sauce on and it didn't, won't be ordering again!

Always get Pizza,2 kebab (chicken&dona )meal deal get the lot in pop salad & sauces got it for years now & still worth the money and still a lovely meal 😊

Food was cold, all meat was dry as if u had been there for days. Best part was the salad. Nan bread was nice

Something has changer with them we get them weekly but food was different and not nice, my kids ate all complaining that is awful!! Whatever you did change it back

Food was OK however it took 2 hours to make 1 pizza & 1 chips and deliver it 3 miles. 40 mins per mile. Food arrived warmish and curry sauce had leaked everywhere.

Just an observation, ordered a king size house special kebab and it was sent in a 10inch pizza box instead of a carton as they ran out of cartons, must say it was better presented in a box rather then squashed in a carton therefore would prefer it in a box in future would even pay a bit extra for the box as stated just an observation as usual food was exellent

The best lamb curry in Newcastle. The staff lamb curry is unreal. Got it today with tandoori roti after being reccomended. No nonsense, simple old school curry. Lamb very tender and melts in mouth.

Always get fresh tasty food when I order from here.

Food came early but quality was poor chips and pizza was cold the fried chicken is flat chicken fried which was a disappointment was also ment to come with salad and it didn’t the chicken burger again a disappointment and I ordered a normal chicken burger but they sent a spicy one chicken and pizza was also very dry. Delivery driver was too busy talking to friend on phone to even acknowledge me just shoved food to me and left very impolite

Food took over 1hour half to arrive when it did it needed re warming. The lamb was mostly bone. Wouldn't recommend

Really good service they also let me use the toilet and they did a balti curry pizza even thou it's not on the menu it was really nice haven't had a proper curry pizza for a long time the price was not bad either plus you can sit in so that's good all around good

Food was delicious as always but disappointed that it arrived late and Luke warm, the poppadoms was inedible and soft. I have never had a problem with this restaurant in the past so I will order from them again as I am hoping that this was a one off problem.

No Nan bread with order and kabab size is same like as normal but they charge money for supersize

Got madras fish and chips the fish was like jelly watery did not even eat it had one bite and that was it also got a chicken buna and it was not a buna at all no onions or anything really dissatisfied and won't be coming bk
