After a few beers in town there is no better kebab shop to head too before you go home. Nice spicy chilli, tasty nicely cut meat and service is pretty quick.

My friend first introduced me to best kebab. I live not far from here so often head after a night out. The staff are always attentive and fast to take your order. You can see everything being cooked in front of your eyes. I would recommend to any other evening venturer in newcastle

The taste is okay and the portion is large.

12 inch Stuffed crust Chicken Kiev pizza was lovely I ve got to say. However the kebab wasn't up to much. Didn't get much and salad wasn't the best either.

Made me pay a deposit for my pizza then charged double for an order I did not placedthen refused to give my my pizza I had already paid for unless I paid the extra money for the food I did not order AKA thieves! PAID FOR FOOD GOT NOTHING

I have been a regular customer of this shop for over 8 years now and tonight I ordered the same order I have been ordering since day 1 which appeared to have been received. I was then charged 8.60 for an upfront payment but was then asked for another 9.99 which I knew was wrong because the pizza is always 12. When I tried to sort out whatever miscommunication had taken place I got told I was wrong, I couldn't understand, it was my fault and I was not to get my food without paying the extra 9.99 I have essentially had my money stolen by this business beacause I refused to pay for an order I did not place. I am very upset because this is used to be my favorite takeaway but I feel insulted by this interaction.

I wouldn't call it the Best Kebab, more like cold budget kebab. Called in early Saturday night and took our food back to the suit over the road. When I started to eat the kebab the meat was luke warm / cold, so had to microwave it. The salad was limited too. An employee walked in off the street to help prepare our food and got to work without any PPE or washing his hands. We were only visiting, but won't us again when next in the city.

The kebab was ok - but waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too expensive for what you get - this is an average, generic doner kebab place, not a decent one - for those who care about what they eat avoid. I will never go here again.

Ordered at 1am delivery time was 2:55am, food never turned up. Terrible service never returned one of my multiple calls

Good Donna Kebabs reasonably sized portion not the cheapest tho u pay for what u get! Pleasant staff and open till the early hrs of the morning.

Waited 3 hours for food via uber eats and it never came In. Very rude blocked my friends number and got angry when we called for updates.

The donor kebab is way bigger than anyway else. For £6.50 it will feed two of you. The owner is also a happy chappy. What's not to love.

Whenever I'm in Newcastle I always come here. The Donna wraps are just amazing. The owner always gives me extra green chillies. Awesome!

Ordered a house special kebab tonight, it was really nice food and just enough for one person. Really quick delivery too even though I live in Gateshead, delivery driver was really friendly. Definitely will be ordering again😊

The best fresg food I've had in a long while. Just had the chef special kebab, mozzarella pizza and nuggets. Being from the midlands I thought I'd give this place a try and test out the kebabs. The chef special was a top notch kebab. 10" garlic bread topped with 1 skewer each of kofte, lamb, chicken and then a bit of doner meat with salad and chips. This was the absolutely the best I've tried and would defo beat some of the best places in the midlands. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Staff where great aswell friendly and do that bit extra for you. I didn't try the pizza or nuggets but was told they was very good also. A*******. If in Newcastle again I would only go to this place.

6.50 for a mixed kebab. Easily the worst takeaway ive ever had. That is embarassing. How a chef could let that leave thier kitchen is beyond me. Getting a takeaway at 2am. Im not expecting the world. Im not expecting gourmet. I expect it to be pretty bad. And normally I would never complain about a bad takeaway. But that is beyond shocking. If you cant cook. Dont run a takeaway

5 stars from me , 2am Large Doner Kebab + salad & chilli , can of Pepsi. Delivered over 4 miles away & for less than a tenner ... 😊 a little late but I'm a delivery driver so I know you can't please all the people all the time. The reviews that say small portions must be written by honey monsters because they definitely aren't. Defo using again

Bought a 12 inch pizza, from here late last night charged me £7.50 absolute disgrace of a pizza. Hardly any cheese and 1,slice of pepperoni per slice if pizza come on. People trying to put a bit money in your pockets and you skimp on there pizza like that. Av had better pizzas for a fiver don't go here all your going to get is robbed trust me never again a wouldn't give it any stars if I could help it stay well clear

Keep well away from this place what a rip off. If you want as little as possible for your money then go here because that's what your going to get very little for your money absolute disgrace and the foods not good either

Best kebab by name at least 310th by taste. Ordered two different kebabs a parmo and bottle of coke to my hotel. Driver was that lazy he never even got out the car just waved me across. Got to my room only to feel they were cold. Phoned to explain that my food was cold and then he says its because the sauce I had on my kebab makes it cold. Told him they forgot my juice and said ill give you £5 off next time. Ram your £5 off. I don't stay here. I rely on reviews so here's an honest one......YOUR NOT THE BEST

Ok food. I would class it as late night kebab shop style food. Nothing to write home about. We ordered 6.30pm on a Thursday evening. Delivery was only 5-6 minutes after expected time, which was fine. Plenty of better places with better food around.

Moved away from newcastle 13 years ago but I was so pleased this place is still open when I visited last week. Only my persian nana can make better kebabs than these guys. Dont ever close

I live just round the corner and this is my favourite kebab shop ever staff are lovely food is even better, stuffed crust is to die for and I would never go to another takeaway (UNREAL)

OMG! Do NOT get a take away from here! Ordered donner kebab, shish kebab with some sides. It was an houf late, we wouldnt have minded if food was good but it was cold and very over priced. I had to call 4x to make sure on its way. NEVER AGAIN!

I would avoid at all costs. Only buy if you're about to die from starvation, even if you did this - I doubt the food would ever arrive and then you'll still die, so pretty much a pointless experience. On the upside though; the Indian I ate that night was exceptional, so thank you for delivering my food 2 hours late and forcing me to order from elsewhere.

Chicken kebab cooked and seasoned ok. Salad was little to write about ...and the smallest salad I've ever had for a kebab. ( Like a side salad on a plate !) For £5.90 I expected more . Thus not great value . Three stars because it stays open late .

This is the second time we have ordered from here, the first being great! But unfortunately this time ordering the same food as it was so good last time lol, the garlic bread was burnt badly, and so was some of the meat. The cheesy chips we ok , quite sogy but in comparison ok ! Upon ringing them to discuss the burnt food, the man on the phone said he is not prepared to change anything as I had moved a slice of the garlic bread (for a photo) ! After several minutes of him arguing and talking over me he then agreed to change the bread only but could take half an hour! Service like this belongs in the past! And patronising, victimising , horrible and somewhat racist people do not have a place in our food retail . I shall never be ordering from them again and hope they sort things out.

I'm writing this now just after i've received my meal because it was not good. this is called best kebabs and it is on westgate rd in Newcastle. if you cant get a good kebab here you wont get one anywhere. Just wanted a donner kebab ,haven't had one for 10 yrs. waited 1 hr for delivery. donor meat hard, salad poor red cabbage pickled not fresh. Had to ask by ringing to get chilli sauce as well as garlic as this was not allowed on just eat. got curry and chips also. hardly any curry. I rang the restaurant and I told them nicely why I wasn't happy, on both occasions they hung up on me. Really!!! won't be going there again. What is wrong with these people.

Best kebab that I've had in Newcastle!

Went here with a bunch of friends after a night out handed £20 for one kebab. They soon claimed I never ordered or handed money over despite friends seeing me. Owner got very angry and pushed me out of the shop was very aggressive handsy and very verbal, racist rude money grabbers!

Lived close to this beaut whilst I was at Uni. Pizzas were always spot on and the Parmo was HEAVENLY. On the odd occasion the lads would be a bit slow with the order but made up for it with their friendliness and the taste of the food. Wish it was close to where i live now!

This is abysmal, I wouldn't feed that to an animal I hated. As you can see it looks half eaten, I haven't touched it at all as was greasy and felt like an old boot.....the salad was even dry, i mean how old does that have to be? then on top of the dry salad, it was greasy..again how does that happen? Then when I contacted the restaurant they messed us around for an hour or so only to brush me off. Luckily I ordered through just eat and they have sorted us out after also being told by the company they won't fix it, thank god I'm not losing money for lost food while going without dinner as its now after midnight and no dinner :/. please don't order here it's dry and just greasy and like I said and from the picture, you can see looks half eaten on both meals. So much for a nice treat. By the way the pictures haven't been edited this is literally what turned up a cold half eaten, greasy mess

When the food arrived we only received half of it so rang up they sent the rest of it when we finally got to eat it . It was absolutely revaulting . 20 pound down the drain never again .

I don't normally review take aways, but I purchased food from this takeaway during a recent business visit and I have to say it was one for the best chicken kebabs that I have had. The service was good, helpful staff and I will certainly eat here again.

AVOID AT ALL COST. Ordered food at 11.. the food didn't get here until 12:35. The food was freezing cold an I couldn't even consider reheating it.. it looked horrible! I called back to tell them the food was cold and did not look right.. I got nothing but cheek an greif on the fone.. absolutely disgusting! Definitely not be recommending!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!!! I wouldn't even feed my dog the food they delivered. Chicken was over cooked and Luke warm the kebab was tiny meant to be mixed lamb there was three bits of lamb and four or five bits of doner and a hand full of chips this was also cold When we rang to complain the bloke on the phone said his food was perfect and there was nothing he could do about it. This is honestly the worst take away I have ever had and their staff are just as bad. Working in the food industry I would not of let any of this food leave my kitchen. Vile !!!!!

Great food if you like card board fish with 5 chips. Curry and chips with no curry and cheese chips with pubes... All and all worst ever takeaway eaten. I'd rate this take away 0 stars

A few times Iv finished work late and just needed something quick and fast to eat. Best kebab, is ideal as I can pay cash or use just eat to pay card. Food is always piping hot, and the staff are really pleasant.

Really are the best kabab in town. Are also my local but even in the days of just eat I still go here instead of having food delivered from else where!

Worst experience of my life, ordered from here many times before food was always delivered on time and to a good standard however this time I ordered and 11.30pm and was told at 1am that my food will be delivered in 5 mins food still hasn't turned up and waiting for a refund

Staff was very rude when came into takeaway, asked me what I wanted soon as I walked in. As I didn't know what I wanted he just walked off. I ordered two kababs the meat was very chewy but tasted okay.

Ordered at 1am received at 3:20am. Ridiculously slow service. Kebab was cold on arrival. Also didn't contain what I'd asked for. Clearly chips and cheese was too much to ask for after waiting over 2 hours. What I did get was tasty but really... I had to pay for this and it was pathetic

Consuming kebabs whilst sober is not usually recommended, I don't know what these guys do to the doner meat and maybe its best I don't know but their standard doner kebab is pretty damned delicious - try one....

Alrededor de 10 minutos después de la hora límite de entrega que llamamos al restaurante a preguntar dónde estaba nuestra comida, y nos dijeron que 10-15 minutos más. Cinco minutos más tarde decidimos cancelar, ya que era llegar demasiado tarde. La persona que contestó era extremadamente grosero, altivo y sexista, me llama "Darling". Después de explicar que ya no quería la orden porque estaba tan retrasado, él entonces dijo: "buen fino Darling" y le colgó. Mi compañero no lo hablaban a o Desde luego escogeremos llamado Darling.

No me engañan este es mi tienda local de Kabab y yo vamos regularmente hasta el punto de que el personal sabe mi nombre ... Pero entonces, también hay un buen 15 tiendas de kebabs en la misma distancia a pie y sólo me he ir aquí y han hecho durante los últimos 10 años. Están haciendo algo bien.

Came out of Orange Goblin at the Academy early (moshing is just not my thing!) and took a chance on this Take Away before my journey back to Darlington. Cold, rainy night but the sun came out when I tasted their pizza. I had the pepperoni with extra onions and mushrooms and it was bloody gorgeous. Ate half of the 12-incher in the car, and the rest disappeared on the very foggy way home. If I'd know they were going to be this good I would have bought two. First time and first purchase so of course I cannot comment on burgers, kebabs etc. But they certainly made all of Darlo's pizza taste extremely mediocre. Roll on the next Rock gig cos I know which Take Away I'll be visiting...... highly and unequivocably recommended.

Our very favourite eating place after a concert at the O2 academy....its on 50 yards up the road. Chilli sauce is magnificent as is the donna meat.

Popped in on Saturday night for the essential after pub snack and had decent kebab. It wasn't the finest gourmet food but I wanted a classic kebab and that was exactly what I got - meaty, spicy and packed full.
