Madhu's Heathrow in Hillingdon

Delicious food, excellent service. Caetano, our server, listened to all our customization requests and ensured food was as per our taste. The set menus were an excellent way to sample many dishes at same time. And again we were able to swap out a dish or two with another that we wanted. I rate the experience and service as five stars and definitely recommend to others for yummy, delicious, north indian food. Prices are reasonable as well. I also highly high chai experience at madhus at Mayfair - par excellence!!!

We’ve been visiting Madhu’s Heathrow from last 12 years and I must say we’re as happy as on day one to visit again and again. Food, Ambience and Service is the key for us to keep coming back for every occasion and casual dinner visits.

Ordered via uber eats yesterday evening. Murg Makhni and nahli ghost. I’ve had food poisoning since last night. Both dishes were stale, had zero taste and tasted sour. To top it off each dish was £20 ! Expected better. A disappointing experience.

I visited Madhu’s Restaurant for the first time, and I must say it was an absolutely incredible experience! The food was bursting with authentic flavors and beautifully presented—every bite felt like a celebration. The ambience and atmosphere were just perfect: elegant, welcoming, and full of warmth. The service was top-notch—everyone was so kind, attentive, and genuinely cared about our experience. I’d especially like to mention Samriti Bhatia, who made our evening extra special with her gracious hospitality and warm smile. Her professionalism and charm truly stood out. Can’t wait to visit again and recommend it to all my friends. A big thank you to the entire team at Madhu’s!

I had the Thali non vegetarian and for dessert the Kulfi. Both highly recommended.

Lovely restaurant near Heathrow. Great menu choices. Ordered the dal makhni and roti. Food tasted very good until I found a long strand of hair in the dal. Pointed this out to the server whose response was astounding - no one in this restaurant has long hair. Asked for the check in disbelief. Manager came over apologized and took 50% off the check. Please train your staff to handle scenarios like these. They do happen..

We dine at Madhus every few weeks, and it’s always great atmosphere, wonderful customer service & delicious food. The staff are attentive, and you are looked almost immediately after you are seated. I would highly recommend this place if you like to eat good quality indian food.

Great place with great food and service

We visited on a Sunday evening with three family members. We were seated promptly, and our starters and drinks were served quickly, giving us time to decide on our mains. We enjoyed the aloo papdi chaat, mixed grill platter, chicken samosa, starters, all tasty and well-prepared. For mains, we had lamb shank, chicken biryani, and makhni dal with paratha, all in generous portions. The spice levels on the mains were mild as requested. My only slight critique was that the lamb shank was served without the bone, only a small bone was present in the curry, which was not what I expected. Dessert, comprising masala tea and gajjar halwa, rounded off the meal nicely. Service was good and the restaurant was about 50% full. We would go again.

Great atmosphere, wonderful customer service & delicious food. Must visit once if you like to eat good Indian food. With work colleagues, I ended up going 3 times & tried quite a lot of things. Loved it, thoroughly enjoyed the food.

Much ado about nothing. Highly overrated place, extremely ordinary food but good service. Noisy for an upscale restaurant and funny part was, with all the restaurant being empty hostess asks if we have the reservation. If your priority is good food then this is not the place, but if you want the hype.. by all means.

Probably the best Indian food in the UK I have ever eaten

We have been staying at sheraton for quite few times and always had dinner at Madhu's for valentines set menu was shame.charging so much and food was cold and not tasty at all. I was sick. We wasted so money and left the food hardly ate any thing except kadhi and rice. They have to improve quality of food and service was lacking that special touch. We won't be eating here anymore. Very disappointed.

I was a regular here but the prices on the menu has nearly doubled , they don’t charge service charge anymore but they have put that in there food, the prices are ridiculous maybe most expensive restaurant locally. They have lost me as a customer

Madhu’s Heathrow serves seriously tasty Indian food and caters well to vegetarians. Starters like the aloo tikki and samosas are spicy and delicious, and their paneer dishes are outstanding—packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The main course is just as brilliant, with the dal makhani being a standout. Great flavors all around, highly recommend.

Best Indian food I have had in a long time. Too bad it’s so far away from the city but definitely worth a stop if you have a long layover at Heathrow or check out their location in the city.

We have been coming to Madhu's for over five years now. The menu has a good variety to choose from and the food has remained consistently tasty and flavoursome. The service at Madhu's has always been above average with the staff going over and beyond to achieve customer satisfaction. I highly recommend that you visit this restaurant if you are near Heathrow; you will not be disappointed.

Spacious. Parking behind the hotel. Usual post will take you one block aside. This is inside the Sherston. Great taste. We went there to a birthday party. Overall lots of space. Better to book before you go. Register your car once inside the restaurant.

We had a very disappointing experience at Madhu's Heathrow during our dinner visit yesterday evening. The new staff clearly need proper training. The floor staff(especially the girls) in particular, should understand that they are working at Madhu's, not a local casual restaurant. Dishes were carelessly dumped at the table, which is unacceptable given the reputation and pricing of the establishment. To add to the disappointment, the taste of most of the dishes we ordered has noticeably deteriorated compared to our previous visits. As local regulars who dine here monthly, it's disheartening to see such a decline in quality. The manager did attempt to make amends by offering us dessert when we expressed our dissatisfaction, but we declined. Eventually, they applied a 10% discount to our bill. However, such gestures do not truly address the root issue. We visit Madhu's for its renowned food and service, and no amount of discount can replace that experience. We sincerely hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works to restore the high standards that loyal customers like us have come to expect.

I just want to leave a review for the team at Madhu’s Heathrow. We made a mistake when booking for a large party of 30 people & the manager and his team were SO accommodating and managed to seat us within 15 minutes of notice, despite having a busy restaurant. The food was great & service first class - thank you for everything.

Great evening! Dinner was great and we had our own room and there was about 14 of us. Clyde was super helpful ensuring our evening was top service.

I recently visited Madhu’s Heathrow and was really impressed. The food was excellent with authentic Indian flavors that were spot on. A special mention to Anupam Seth and his team, who took great care of us and made sure we had everything we needed. If you’re after delicious Indian food and good service, Madhu’s Heathrow is a great choice.

Had a layover at LHR and was very pleased to see an Indian Rest located in our hotel. The GM Anupam could not have been nicer - and the food was delicious! We had samosa, butter chicken, lamb shikabob and naan. Highly recommend as all was great - cannot wait to have another over night lay over at LHR to eat at Madhus!

Prices at this restaurant have become extortionate (much higher than top end Mayfair Indian restaurants) and portion sizes eg paneer tikka £16 for 4 thin small pieces, have reduced considerably. A small glass of lassi (mostly full of froth) was over £8. Also, staff did not take care in placing customers in a pleasant environment- we were put on a table with 7 surrounding tables all packed high with used dishes and plates etc from customers that had left but nothing had been cleared away. We had to ask twice (the first time the manager tried to justify the mess) before being offered a table elsewhere which was always free. Not a pleasant experience overall compared to our visit just a few months ago.

It must be 20-30 yrs since I ate here. (Well the one in Southall) chops were frankly some of the best I’ve had and the methi was to die for. Absolutely amazing. Fantastic good for a hungry flight cancelled traveller.

I was only here because my travel plans fell through; but I am pleased I had the opportunity to dine at Madhu's. The food was superb and the service first rate. A no nonsense culinary delight. Having recently been to Benares in London and Sindhu at the Compleat Angler in Marlow, I know what good Indian cuisine tastes like. This was on a par with those - and reasonably priced as well. I would encourage you to try one of the Thalis , mine (the non vegetarian) was delicious and had me scouring the serving pot for the last of the sauce.

Best place for authentic Indian food .

Ordered an array of dishes which were delicious. However did ask the server not to garnish the food with coriander and it came out smothered in it. Ruined the experience having to take time to try and remove it. For a fine dining establishment a simple request like that I thought would be simple to adhere to but apparently not.

The food is average nothing great! For starters we had sheek kebabs, papdi chaat, gol gappa which were all good the only disappointment was the mains the chicken makhni and dhal makhni both dishes had no flavour. Definitely wouldn't go back again, and you get better currys in Southall!

Madhu's Heathrow is the go to spot for us whenever we go through Heathrow airport. On our last visit, couple of weeks ago, my wife called the restaurant to inquire about their hours. When we arrived and were seated at the restaurant, the General Manager went out of his way to come over to introduce himself. He was so gracious with us, that I will never forget it. Our dinner experience, from the service to the delicious home cooked flavors, was simply amazing. If you ever have a layover at Heathrow or have a little extra time on your way in to out of the airport, stop by here and try some of their amazing Indian dishes. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Anupam. You have a fan here for a long long time.

Great food as ever! Mains come at around 20£ each! With no extras! Total bill 85 incl service charge for two mains, 2 sides, 1 Lassi and 1 coke. I thought was a little stiff! Moreover waiter asked us whether everything was okay before we could even taste the food! Half way the waiter asked whether we wanted more bread! When we denied he took the complimentary snacks and chutneys away! We also felt that the noise level in the restaurant was fairly high! And the music didn’t particularly help to bring that down! So full score for food, but a little less on the rest

Always a fabulous night out. I've been many of the Madhus restaurants and am always satisfied. Fantastic food, huge portions tasty and great variety. The consistency is key and is what Madhus does best! Consistent service, quality and overall experience in all of there establishments. I've booked large parties, small groups and had dinner with just the hubby. Impressed every time! This branch is great for large lively groups.

We have wedding in Fairmont Windsor park on Aug 17th lunch time they run out food don’t have curtsy’s to tell we close this section go to other stations rather supper wiser tell people don’t take too much food we have people behind to eat so I suggest people of London don’t go this Madhu’s catering they lousy service and rude employees

Stayed at the Sheraton hotel for a night & decided to visit this lovely restaurant, Caetano our waiter was excellent recommended some great food of the menu & was very nice, highly recommend.

What a food tasty indian food ar Heathrow 😋 The staff is amazing

Tried dinner here since stayed one night layover at Heathrow. Place is overly crowded, too noisy, tables pretty cramped. Food not worth the hype, the masala chai we had at the end was a joke. Normal dip dip chai served from the bar counter. And guess what you pay six pound for a cup, our room coffee, tea was better. Not worth.

I have no idea if food is good but found this restaurant on google and it was recommended by the person who checked me in the hotel across the street. I was just having a night near London Airport to catch a flight next morning and wanted to have a nice Indian dinner. I walked in and the person at the front desk just walked away and upon returning I asked for a table of one. He told me there is 15-20 mins wait when I clearly can see there were plenty of tables available and they can’t accommodate a table of one and I didn’t see any other party waiting. I don’t know what the issue was but felt insulted. I decided to head back to the restaurant within the hotel.

Myself and my family are regulars at Madhus Heathrow either for dinning in or takeaway. However on 10.07.24 wed thier service and food fell short of thier normally good service. Complimentary poppadoms were stale. Waiter took them back and didn't bring anymore and said they were all stale. We asked if they could make fresh ones and was told as these were complimentary they didnt have to provide anymore freshly cooked ones. Obviously it wasn't a good start. Both vegetable dishes were nice but tandoori rotis were drenched in butter. We were a little disappointed.

Madhu’s was a good find! Caetano was extremely helpful in guiding us through all the options. The food was delicious (the desserts omg) and service was fast and friendly. Have to come back again!

Food was ok, but what it lacked in flavor it made up in spice levels. Service was extremely slow. No one was available at the front desk to check us in for nearly ten minutes and we waited at at the table , without even water for another 20 Minutes. The single appetizer we ordered arrived in about 20 minutes after they took our order and we waited another 30 minutes to being served the main course. Any questions or requests about the food were met with a flat “not possible” reply, without even a courtesy effort to accommodate. . Wish we had gone to a different place.

Incredible food, incredible staff and incredible quality in every aspect. By far the best food I've ever had, and the innovative approach to update traditional dishes is just pure class and done with such finesse. There's a reason we're regular visitors.

Way too expensive compare to restaurants in central London. Poor customer service, as we went there on Father’s Day. Very spicy food and no options for kids. Please don’t waste your money.

We visited over the weekend for a family dinner. The atmosphere and service were nice. The food was good, authentic,, authentic, and reasonably priced. I would recommend this place.

Highly acclaimed restaurant. Excellent atmosphere and decor. Fantastic staff and service. But the food is so so and expensive for small portions. I could drive 5 minutes down the road to find just as good if not better food, larger portions at a cheaper price. Sadly I will not be coming back.

Just off the plane from the US, we had a wonderful meal at Mudhus. Our server, Caetano, was lovely. Our plates were hot, and each dish was delicious and came right away. The menu is extensive, with great drinks, including lassi. What a surprise for an airport location. I highly recommend Mudhus.

**BEWARE** Secretly halal, no signage to make it clear on the door unlike most other halal establishments. When the waitress was challenged she suggested to me to not eat meat at all and become vegetarian, I too have a suggestion which is to PUT UP A FLIPPING HALAL SIGN ON YOUR DOOR!!!! This must also go for their catering.. Do your own research!

I visited today to celebrate my 40th Birthday with my family. The food was fantastic, it is like a burst of flavour with every bite, and the whole party enjoyed it thoroughly! I chose the royal set menu, and the starters were just amazing, the kebabs were so soft, and well flavoured, together with the chicken tikka which just melts in your mouth. The aloo tikki chana and chilli paneer boast of so many different flavours and it is just pleasent! The main course was no exception, and the dessert was a nice ending. The whole team make you feel so welcome, and the location makes it better. Overall it is such a nice place to be! Thank you so much! 10/10 for sure!

I am highly disappointed with the food I took as take away from Madhu's Heathrow. We ordered Khari Paneer, which was not at all good. The gravey was watery and was not kharai Paneer gravey. Poor garnishing for Murg Tandoori and hot food were served in a plastic container, which can cause severe health problems. It was more ordering from a local takeaway than Madhu's. For the price I paid, it was a bad experience.

Good location for a relaxed lunch or dinner or a casual meeting. Definitely one of the better restaurants in Heathrow area. Large hotel car park adds to the convenience but it can get quite busy.

We had dinner at Madhu’s and we ordered their non vegetarian thali and the food and ambience was just awesome. We ordered for some replacement requests due to allergies and the staff obliged us willingly and replaced the dish with a very good alternative. We were served by Peter costa and he was really kind enough to take care of us and checking on us regularly. We had a very good experience and absolutely recommend to visit Madhu’s !!!!

Food is cooked to perfection. The lamb chops, chicken and salmon starters the best I've ever eaten. Service is excellent with great atmosphere. . Great Bar service with lots of cocktail choices. I will be coming back.

We had the most incredible Indian food at Madhu's Heathrow! They have amazing vegetarian options, so even if you don't eat meat, you're in for a treat. We were a large party of 10 and we were all seated together comfortably. The mixed grill was nicely cooked but was very spicy be warned - perhaps too spicy. The pani puri wasn't great and tasted slightly stale. The main courses were better, especially the lamb which was very tender and a good portion. Service was ok but not very attentive - had to follow up on the odd drinks orders. Overall food was average but for us slightly over priced but convenient if you are staying at the hotel

Nice place, good food and prompt service. Pity they don't use chicken breast for Chicken Tikka or most of their chicken dishes. Dal Makhani was excellent and our group liked their mixed grill platters
