Worst NcDonalds ever been in - waited 15 minutes in an almost empty restaurant . Clearly needs a new manager and seems utter chaos

Order placed at window told at next window food was not ready and to go to bay. Then lost order came to car after 15 minutes of waiting to ask if this slip of paper was are order which had been hand written. Then went back in to cook it.Poor service and certainly not fast food.

Ordered via Just Eat at approx 1645 - notified order to be delivered by 1730. Updated to 1745, then 1800, 1830, 1850, 1900 to be finally told order is cancelled! Absolutely SH*TE service. The McDonald franchise at Stroud needs to be investigated as it’s rubbish - no drivers available. Finally reordered our dinner with an alternative provider at 1905. Whether the food is ordered at the time is not the point - it’s about receiving the order at a reasonable time for Saturday afternoon teatime! Now having to eat late on into the evening - I accept this is not too early for all those young people but when you’re looking to have a small bite to be delivered when you fancy a change, the very least you’d expect is for the order to be honoured in a reasonable time. Tried to call MacDonalds but no answer - I wonder why? Not any more form me! Be advised - try alternatives who you might already know that provide a reliable service.

SH*TE. Tastes awful, nothing like biscoff. Probably not the authentic biscoff sauce. The cream tastes rank. And it’s like an icy watery milkshake, of what flavour I can’t make out. Please do not waste nearly £4 on this drink!

I went to this mcdonald’s and bought 10 fries for me and my friends to see if we won any prizes. We were given 1 pack of fries and not ten i went up to the front and asked for the other 9 with proof on my phone and receipt of purchase they did not listen and did not give me any of my money back or my fries. very dissatisfied with the service

McDonald's delivery along with Uber. Total rubbish. 50 mins later than expected delivery and they cancel your order. This isn't the 1st time either. Useless service

Always check your delivered food order, this branch time and time again fails to provide a complete order and never recompenses you. Today we had no chips no straws and no dips for our dippers. This poorly run restaurant in renowned for its poor service locally, not inspiring for this family run restaurant. McDonalds should remove its franchisee.

My family received the takeaway delivery, as so often happens with this particular McDonalds items were missing. This time it was the dips for 3 dishes that come inclusive of dips. My daughter called to make this known, the staff member there said there was nothing she could do. We didn’t expect them to be dropped to us, however, there should be some sort of recompense for ruining the chicken selection, nuggets and cheese dippers we didn’t have any rich tomato or bbq sauce here at home. The sauces make all of these otherwise bland meals tasty! I hope this gets back to someone who can change this restaurant quality and attitude for the better. McDonalds blame Uber eats and Uber Eats blames McDonalds. Ridiculous. On second call McDonalds told us to apply to Uber Eats for recompense. Really ridiculous.

Pitched up in awful rain storm at drive in. As always really lovely friendly young staff serving me. They have the right attitude.

If you’re wondering who is the happiest person in the world at 3am on a monday morning, it’s Chris from McDonalds. Was extremely polite and wished us a delightful rest of our morning after taking our order. Honestly made our night haha. Food was good too! Got everything we ordered, fries weren’t hot but they were a good temperature (note that we did eat them straight away). Would go again!

I love it here, you never know when you’re going to be missing half the order or whether the food will be absolutely cold. Either way, most of the time they’ll correct it, and the other times I don’t even care - I just got a burger for a pound mate. Love it, will keep coming love you guys xoxo

It always makes me laugh when I see checked stamped on the receipt from Stroud McDonalds, as you can guarantee there will be something missing. We’ve complained on more than one occasion, poor customer service, the manager here is not interested at all. He needs to wake up and realise this is probably one of the worst McDonalds in the county. Spend time making sure your staff get it right, but first you sort yourself out..... maybe you need more training. If I could have given you 0 stars I would!

I wouldn't use this app to decide if I'm going to eat at McDonald's or not, as it can be very hit and miss in most branches. 1dt thing you couldn't help but notice at 930pm on a sat night was the lack of clean tables. The branch was quiet by now but they needed more staff to clean the tables. We did get an apology and the food was easy to order and tasted OK. Won't be back to this branch in a hurry

This must be the worse MacDonald's that I have ever had the misfortune to visit. I was on a journey at the time that I stopped off at this MacDonald’s for a quick snack It took 15 minutes from placing my order to being served. The place was not busy at the time. I would have expected to be served within five minutes of placing my order. When I eventually was served the fries were tepid. The burgers seemed to have been “stewing” for some time under a heat lamp. They were inedible . I complained to a member of staff but only had a smirk grin response with not a word of apology or even an offer to attempt to replace the order. By this time I was most upset and later for an appointment. I put the meal in the best place for it….in the bin and left. I did complete a customer satisfaction survey on line when I got home. This resulted in MacDonald’s offering me a complementary Big Mac or Salad to be taken during a limited period. Having regard to the fact that my meal was a complete a waste of money, the offer of a Big Mac or Salad was derisory. They could at least have offered me a refund This MacDonald’s has tarnished the MacDonald’s mage.

Stroud McDonald's is the worst! Do not trust that they will give you your full order using the drive through! Management extremely unhelpful. Have never had issues like it at other McDonald's.

They have completely forgot to put 50% of my order in the bag! Appalling service from start to finish. Avoid at all costs. Go to Greggs.

Great place to go if you are on a diet and don’t mind paying full price for a half portion. I have complained many times and they always offer me a free meal... they are missing the point. I don’t want hundreds of their other customers being ripped off.

I've always had excellent service in the Stroud McDonalds until 9/10/2020 when I tried to order a Big Mac and fries in the sit down area using a "Food for thoughts coupon". I was told to use the self service order point by a grumpy man, I explained that the self service order point did not accept vouchers, and could I use the till at the counter. He told me that none of the tills were working, I offered cash which he refused. Sorry McDonalds very let down, were all your tills not working? How were the drive through cars being served?

We waren hopeloos op zoek naar iets om te eten. En we zijn dan maar hier in macdonalds iets komen eten. Het was zeer goedkoop 12 pond. Maar er zat helemaal geen smaak in de burger, frieten. Maar dat konden we ook verwachten bij macdonalds.

Previously had good food but the Big Tasty looked overcooked and not great value for money.Staff shoudl not ask if aeverything OK as they know how long the food has been waiting for a buyer.Will try again in the future and see if its any better.

I have visited this place several times. Mostly as a drive-through customer, and this always seems to take too long. On one occasion, I was asked to pull into the waiting bay, which is fair enough, but I ended up there for almost 20 minutes and in the end walked in to the restaurant to collect the food myself. In fairness, they apologised and offered me a free ice-cream, but this is not what I call a fast food restaurant.Often, when we order a regular and a large meal, the fries in the large container are equal to the regular one, or the fillings in the same type of burgers are different / lacking a gherkin or a slice of cheese… Unfortunately, one does not notice this until home and unpacking the order and at this point, it is too late to ask for rectification. The worst and very disappointing experience so far was when I tucked in to my milkshake and discovered that I was given a plain froth lacking any flavour whatsoever.I would therefore recommend that drive-through customers check their order before leaving the restaurant.

Different in the fact you order self service, pick a seat and they'll bring it over to you, Tried the new meal deals and must admit actually enjoyed it

yup. McDonald's. homologous, consistent and the same anywhere. Nice view of the car park and the Dr's surgery. Entertainment is provided by kids from the local comps smoking outside and FGR FC players avoiding getting caught having a Big Mac.

It's the standard formula, obviously, but the food here isn't up to the standards of some of their other outlets. Hard to explain why.

Fast food, Nice burger, took family on shopping trip and had nice time and nice food.The coffees we had went down a treat.

It's a MacDonald's, so you know what you are going to get. But how this franchise rules the world is beyond me, even out young son hates going to parties there. Bland food something they call a French fries that is like cardboard, some disgusting thing on the burger if you do not ask for a plain one, the list is endless. Sadly we will have to go again. But why the world loves this place puzzles me to be honest. Ok I will try and say something nice about this one.........Oh I give up

Usual big breakfast meal but had to ask for salt and pepper (as usual with most McDonald's) but this branch DID issue me with a credit card receipt besides the food receipt - not many branches do that???????

I sometimes drive through for a couple of basic burgers and fries for a couple of quid when I can't be bothered doing anything else. Half the time it comes really quickly, half the time I have to park up for ages. I can never figure it out - it's not as if I've ordered lobster thermidore or something, just basic burgers and chips.Still, when they come they're hot and they fill the gap.

Stroud has in my opinion improved somewhat since its start, it really was the second slowest only beaten my eastern ave Gloucester.I have only ever once had to return food that was not hot enough and that was not from Stroud and there are times when only a bigmac and shake will do.My greatest annoyance though has to be the utter contempt the company and not the staff has to its customers. If I wanted large I would have asked for it. So I say small "no small" and they say we don't do small only medium...Ok so its the company not the staff fault so no way am I now going to get out of my car and punch someone for just irritating me so much.do I want a drink with that, well lets see if there is any clue in the words I used when I placed my order.I have now devised a way of lessening this irritation, lets say you want a bigmac (so that's a bigmac and no chips and no drink. you have to say "Hello, may I have one big mac (pause briefly) and nothing else at all please"Occasionally you will still get asked if you want a drink with that to which you just smile and after a few seconds the original request echoes in their mind and you can move on.Recently however they have introduced remote ordering kiosks, well I say remote, at least in stroud it is around the corner so you don't feel quite as stupid talking into a screen as you do at the b4008 cross keys roundabout one where you are in full view of the chap at the 1st window with the headset on (and no cars in front of you) but expected to stop and talk to him at this childish kiosk.Unless there is a queue I now refuse to play this silly game and on one occasion to the annoyance of the headset wearer who stated "youre supposed to order over there" Luckily I was the customer on that occasion so could choose for myself where I placed my order.Now I know that children love to play with walkie talkies and power to them, but a drive through by its very nature should only be used by adults who can drive through..I just cant understand it.Anyway I must say I do love a big mac...sometimes with chips but only when I ask for them.

Went in the drive thru, waited 20 mins, got fed up so went in myself to find out what the hell was going on, eventually got my food, which was stone cold!!! Then to top it off you have to pay 5p per pot of sauce!!!! Not happy at all

If you plan on ordering something that is a variation to the standard menu, e.g. hamburger only ketchup, don't bother. Not only does it take an age for your food to arrive, it will arrive wrong, e.g. hamburger with ketchup and mustard despite only ketchup specified when ordering. In addition to that, unless you have come in at a busy time where the staff have to constantly keep making new fries, you will end up with soggy old fries that have been left sitting there for ages. I would not recommend until they improve their service.

Had to 20 minutes....this was inside, it was a 30 minute wait another time when I went through the drive-thru. And they got the order wrong, but by that time I was ready to eat whatever they gave me.

Its just a standard McDonalds really. Nothing more, nothing less.Great value. Been to worse McDonalds

It's got to be one of the worst McDs in the country, although the others in the surrounding area are a bit dismal too. The service is slow, the restaurant is scruffy and not clean-looking and the food poorly presented.
