First time ordering, excellent service, food was delicious and speedy delivery. Price was reasonable. Highly recommend...

I have been going here for 17 years, originally the Jewel, through the Maa and actuall now the Ariana. The service is always very friendly and the food is consistently good.

Would nornally give NAA a 5 star rating for food quality but on this occasion the poppadoms were soft and rest nedded re-heating. Will still use then again.

Lots of indian restaurants and take aways have a limited vegetarian range and often it is only vegetables. Maa had a good choice of panner dishes and other vegetarian starters, dishes and sides too. Ordered online at just eat, after looking at different menus. We got a discount and and free course. Food arrived quickly and hot. Will definitely be returning.

Delivery was late, food arrived cold. Both curries had an excess amount of grease which we could not eat. Poor quality

Ordered 2 dishes to take away. Food smelled lovely but unfortunately just didn't taste of anything at all. No flavour or chilli, despite ordering one of the dishes as "hot" (max level on justeat app).

Always eat from here and NEVER usually have a problem but this week was not good, no mint dip with starters which is always specified so starter was dry, the rice was very watery and the curry was only luke warm not impressed this time Maas

I visited a friend last night and he ordered a takeaway from the Maa. He stated they must have improved reading the latest rave reviews. I am afraid it has not, it came on time with some free poppadum's also the driver was very pleasant.That's where the good news stops I can only say the food is almost stew like and is under spiced. Each dish again was very similar and disappointing. Some dinners obviously like the food but it is certainly not for me. My friend was disappointed with his meal, as I did not pay I said nothing. Some time that's the polite thing to do.

I use Maa a lot for take away deliveries. The food is always lovely and is delivered very quickly. Even the drivers are great and we get a free beer or coke with orders over £20. I would recommend Maa for an eat in meal or takeaway. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Ordered from Maa before on Just Eat and once again was impressed with the speed of delivery and the quality of food. It's always piping hot when it arrives and they don't skimp on portions or free extras. Would definitely recommend them.

Arrived very quickly and it was absolutely gorgeous. We eat out there quite often but fancied a take away and it was definitely still of a high standard. Will definitely order from again.

Haven't had a good curry for a long time and was quite apprehensive to try at first but wow I was pleasantly surprised. I did not expect the dishes to be as good as they sounded on the menu. Each dish was cooked to perfectioj and the waiters treated me like royalty catering to my every need. I ordered the maa king prawn chef special and it was by far the best dish on the menu. This is a must go to restaurant and very spacious as well as a lovely ambience. Will definitely visit again.

This is the best restaurant ever. This is my first time here I enjoyed the sag paneer. The service is very friendly. The food came on time and it was not cold. They also gave some free poppadums. I will be definitely be coming again!

Took 2 and half hours to arrive. Called twice, tey said they were busy. Food nice but cold. Could tell was rushed as we had had food from there before and was lovely. Didn't eat til 10pm!

This is the 3rd time I've ordered from Maa, each previous time the quality of food has been good as had the value for money. However it would take on average 1hr 20 to arrive. This 3rd time is absolutely my last, I chased the takeaway after an hour of ordering to be told they were 'packing it up' and I'd receive it soon. Long story short, 2hrs and numerous phone calls later still no meal. At one point it took 10mins of calling to actually get through. Their excuse was they were very busy and even asked me if I could hear their phones ringing. Lack of communication was a big disappointment and me and my friends still having not received the order, ended up going out to a local curry house at 10pm. I wouldn't risk ordering from Maa again unfortunately. Maa did very kindly offer a big discount and to still send the food out but by that point none of us had any faith it would arrive.

The best curry I've had in a while. I started off with the salmon fry and it was exquisite not over cooked but not raw either just they way I like it. I had a little trouble choosing the main as I always go for a kurma and wanted something different, the kind waiter recommended me the maa murg lazize. What a dish it was packed full of flavours and quite sizeable too. I will be definitely returning with the family very soon. Top marks :)

Today was my first visit to maa restaurant but I was not quite sure about how I'd find the food,but I was extremely happy with everything I ordered especially the sizzler speciali and maa garlic chicken it is to die for! ! Will definitely be visiting again.If you havent tried it you must give it a go.

Paid for a lge bottle of coke, got a small bottle and a comment the owner will give me 2 free cans next time! Why not send them with this meal? Half empty yog dips, very small chip portion, no salad with starter. Curry was average at best! Very poor and won't be using again!

Food was cold when it arrived. It took over 2 hours to be delivered and when I phoned up, the staff were rude and hung up on me. Will not be ordering from here again.

I use this place on a regular basis and usually cannot fault it, but my last order I must admit wasn't that great, it was Luke warm and there wasn't enough sauce/salad to accompany the meals! Shame any other time it would be 5stars all round....

I first experienced Maa 3 years ago after moving to North Birmingham. TBH I wasn't a massive curry fan before, but Maa's is AMAZING.... they have a fantastic selection of dishes to suit you mood, and they actually all taste different, instead of how in some places apart from how spicy they are its hard to tell one dish from another. None of that at Maa's, I've not yet tried a dish that I didn't love. The staff are really friendly too. ( they also do a take out delivery service, and is exactly the same high quality food) My sister & partner have recently moved close by and they have also been thoroughly converted !

Once i opened my menu i knew this was going to be a superb experience, my palate was overwhelmed by the exuberant tastes and spices. I was positively overcome with delight when the dish was presented, such an array of colours and fine master craft of indian cooking. The service was first rate also, with such tiptop hosting. it was a delight from introductions to conclusion. Bravo!

The staff are welcoming, but I am afraid the food is dire. The chicken was overcooked and I can only guess that the ingredients are cooked separately and thrown together afterwards to suit the particular dish that you have ordered.

We have returned to the Maa time after time and have never been disappointed. The staff couldn't be more helpful. Fantastic range of dishes and all served piping hot.

Main meal tasted good, mixed kebab starter was tiny. Biggest problem was as a whole the meal was barely warm when it reached me.

Food has been consistently good over several orders. Food was delivered 25 minutes after ordering at peak time too! Recommended.

Great food, right portions, delicious and not too spicy. The staff is friendly and kind, always ready to suggest their best dishes.

I heard first from my friend and I have been twice. Excellent food, service and price. The food is very tasty, cooked just like indian ghar wala style. The name itself gives you meaning. As maa is called mum. Very pleasant staff who values all their customers. They rembered is straight away when we walked in. I will definitely recommend all the people to visit this place.

I have been to many Indian restaurants over the years and Maa is by far the best I have ever been too. The quality is amazing, portion size is plenty, it's texture is thick and soooo tasty I always have a chicken and mushroom Balti with extra garlic and coriander it is amazing and the staff are so helpful and accommodating I highly recommend it . SimpleRestaurant, clean but food is awesome. I live in Dudley and I am taking my family at the end of the month it's that good.

After waiting nearly 2 hours and several phone calls later meal arrived and was cold and madras tasted like a load of chilli powder had been added no flavour at all just very hot. First time using MAA but will be the last

Food took an hour to arrive. I ordered chicken balti and it turned out to have peppers in it or a sauce with bell peppers thrown in so wasn't impressed as I don't eat peppers. The keema naan had way too much red food colouring. The chicken jalfrezi was average. Overall not very impressed.

Had a great meal yet again a different twist on your normal curry house. A must visit if you have not been.

I've been here many times before and it never disappoints. Family gathering and as usual thoroughly enjoyable. The variety of curries to choose from is phenomenal. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The food tastes great and you never leave feeling hungry. Always worth the trip from Ayr.
