Lively pub good selection of drink. Welcoming, friendly place. I didn't have any food, so I couldn't comment.

Went for drinks before a meal in town while visiting relatives. Pub was recommended by them. Nice pub, large bar, quick and friendly service from the staff.

Belhaven pub with a “funcy” menu - comes with some standard choices. Food is class, staff are very attentive and easy to chat to. Fantastic drink selection. Will come back for mare.

Enjoyed the fish pie and pea & mint soup. The banana old fashioned was especially delicious.

Snug bar is the best. Don't know why they don't utilise it better.

Old pub with history and soul. Good Fish 'n Chips. Also has evenings with quizzes. A place I have visited several times.

Classic pub, and apparently the oldest in Aberdeen! Very cosy inside, and very popular too. Make sure you reserve a table if you're going on a weekend night, because I usually struggle to find a seat on a Friday-Sunday. Being in the centre of the town, it attracts a varied crowd. I've seen it packed with students, friends, and families all at once! 20% discount on food for anyone with a blue light card or student discount. Unfortunately, a couple times I've been in they've said the option to put my discount number in was broken, so I couldn't receive the discount at all. I guess when that happens there's no way they can manually override the price and put it through anyway, or perhaps they just don't care.

Nice pub with good food and a few small areas for a cosy chat with friends. Or sit in the main bar. Plenty of choices for food and drinks.

Great staff, and considering it was in an airport, the ambiance was very pleasant 😀

The oldest pub in Aberdeen, though everything is both news and clean with a quaint old vibe. Fills up for football but a lovely dinning experience nonetheless.

I went with friends for a leaving night.We had Euan as our bartender and he was fantastic all evening.Attentive,chatty and friendly.Top barman.Had a great night.

We were there as part of a group of 20, and the whole night was flawless. Euan, who was our bartender the whole night in the snug, was amazing and kept the drinks coming throughout the night. The food was amazing!

We love Ma Cameron's. Good food, polite service with a smile. Muzac just as we like it - almost inaudible where we sat - though we prefer total silence so we can hear the music of our conversation. I find the normal sized fish and chips quite sufficient but my wife dared me to try the large version - little did I know there was method in the madness. When it arrived she took half a fish away to supplement her smaller steak sandwich.

Lovely and warm, fire was on, great service, very prompt and attentive, food order was quick, we had the fish snd chips and it was lovely. Our waiter was Jordan, and he couldn’t do enough to make sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely make this a regular visit next time we are in town.

Service was above and beyond cannot fault it and a big thank you to Laura for looking after us - on a cold a miserable wet day she certainly warmed us with her welcome

We have rediscovered Ma Cameron's after a few years and so glad we did as we'd forgotten what a great place this is. The food is excellent and Connor and Laura are an absolute delight. They are so friendly and welcoming ... but all the staff are. Great place to lose yourself for a couple of hours!

The staff made this such a lovely meal out. They were so helpful to my friend that has quite a few allergies, offering us the gluten free menu etc and helping myself a very socially awkward person find the toilets. Busy but great atmosphere. Sam one of our servers was particularly patient and helpful.

Friends and I had the most fantastic meal and drinks here last night. We had a mixed starter to share which consisted of garlic bread, onion rings and halloumi fries. All three were delicious. The best halloumi fries I have ever had!! To follow I had the cheese burger with fries, again very good and it came with a lovely dip. Well done to the chef!! The bar/waiting staff were all very friendly and efficient. We never had to wait long for drinks. Fantastic atmosphere and very busy with the rugby being on. I have been here for drinks many times over the years but I have not eaten here for many years. I will 100% be back for a meal again. Great quality food at an affordable price!

Couple of vegan items on the menu. But if you want to try the haggis, ask for the vegetarian haggis with no sauce, and replace the tattis with a baked potatoe. It is amazing!! They do not mind the modification, as a matter of fact the chef came out to talk to me personally about it. That was awesome. I also had a slice of apple pie wiff a scoop of vegan ice cream. Delicious. And a couple of beers. When I come back to Scotland, ill be staying in Aberdeen and going straight to MA Cameron's. 🤟

They have vegan haggis. Just order the vegetarian haggis with no sauce, replace the tattis with a baked potatoe and there you go. Its amazing!!! I also had a slice of apple pie and a scoop of ice cream. 100% vegan and delicious. Service was the best part. Food came out on time and the beer was good. But how I was treated was the best, thank you Louise. When I come back to Scotland, ill be staying in Aberdeen and dining here. 🤘

Friendly waiters. Fish and chips was awesome. Arguably the best in Aberdeen. Clean washrooms. Nice place to watch some sports and listen to some nice blues.

The atmosphere was great, the lighting was perfect and the service was perfectly acceptable. The food was bland, however. All three dishes we ordered were boring and... Just didn't taste very good. This was made worse by it being a big pricey.

The service was very good and prompt. Unfortunately the food that we had chosen was very bland. Chicken and bacon sandwich with side salad. Don't think I will be going back for food.

Went on Saturday afternoon til 9pmish. Great table service for both drinks and food. Had reserved table and glad that I did as place was busy so would advice booking.

The choice of food was great for a pub. The staff where helpful and quick. It was an enjoyable meal. I feel like it could do without the TV but that is my preference. Definitely a nice place to have dinner.

Forgot the Rugby was on, so it wasn't a great meal out but that wasn't their fault. Food was Ok, pretty much the standard Belhaven Pubs menu. If you want a Pub meal then Ma's is a safe bet, just check if there's sports on or you might not be able to hear yourself think!!

Had a meal out my wife had beef rib pie which was fantastic my fish and chip was ace well done the the chefs and all staff we will be back

The pub is big and pretty standard. It has lots of TVs showing sport. We went to the pub quiz on a Monday evening and that was very good fun.

Went here for afternoon fish and chips with mushy peas, having visited before was expecting a lovely piece of fish, being in Aberdeen afterall. We did not even look at the menu 3 p.m. After a long drive from Edinburgh, we knew exactly what we wanted, a pint two diet cokes and 3 fish and chips with mushy peas! Thanks server was happy and commented, "easy enough", thank you, drinks followed shortly, waited with great anticipation and being hungry 😀, out came the three plates with 3 minows in over fried batter, semicrushed sweet peas, and reheated frozen brakes chips! I to say the least instantly mentioned the peas looked like they were stood on! The chips lukewarm dry and inconsistently coloured, ie old and new mixed, or some left over hot oil next to the base of the frying basket, limp pea shoots for garnish, and a pre seared 1/2 miniature lemon that must have been recovered from bin given texture of a sodden sponge, overall the most horrible plate ever put in front of me! Congratulations to whoever plated this lot for sure needs to go back and learn how to cook the most popular meal in the UK. Not to forget the sauce it actually had a skin forming on it but was warm and rancid. They would have to paint the neck of the cabbage mechanic red to embarras him, stood at the bar and glared over at us, needles to say the majority of the plate went back untouched bar me scrapping a bitto fish flesh out as I was hungry, all in it cost £55. We left and will never return to this establishment. Edinburgh Belhaven (greenking) 100%. As a professional chef, and having previously worked in many pubs, I can assure you the three plates would never have left my kitchen. With reference to the response by raig, we did mention the fish size, the waitress was in the first instance on denial mode, it was not until I informed her that I was employed within the trade and made my knowledge regarding what was presented she retracted, she was polite and service was not an issue, the problem was the food was not upto the standard of what was being advertised, size of fish, peas, and triple fried chips? Bought in frozen brakes are not fresh triple fried, thank your for your response, however looking at a review from last month a (Sunday), it is apparent the issue with chefs or should I say kitchen staff, is an ongoing issue as it is countrywide, it is well understood there is a national shortage of quality chefs, this was caused by the self interests and profiteering by companies hiring Eastern Europeans, this caused British graduates and training facilities to close over many years.Brexit enforced the return of labour as wages and quality of life in there own countries improved, leaving the UK with a shortage of the lowest paid jobs sectors, not just catering but a national concern in all industries. PAY DECENT WAGES TO CHEFS and there commises and staff in general, then folk would not complain when there food is altogether with service produced and presented professionally. In Edinburgh the cost was £68 for three fish and chips and same drinks, we left a gratuity of £12. Alloa Old Brewery served very similar standard of food and I did the same response, as your waitress explained to me there are or what seems to be different franchise owners now or sud company divisional management maybe those responsible for changing the fish portion size to a 6 instead of the regular 10s or 12s should take note and listen to the complaints.

Came in to Ma Camerons on Saturday night for a light evening meal and some drinks. We had the Cullen Skink Soup Special and it was delightful. Our servers Travis and Isla were very attentive and well versed in specials and recommendations for bar drinks....

3.5 is the real score ! Mixed bag.Table of 5. 3 loved the Korean burger. 2 were underwhelmed with the steak ciabatta ( bit grisly/fatty)

Went for a meal , macaroni was looking like it was out of a packet and sat for all day , no salad , steak pie was ok but the cabbage was I think fried and inedible, looked like a pineapple top , we was...

When we arrived after a hard day's work we were greeted with lovely staff who acknowledged us. When we ordered drinks Sam and Travis were very knowledgeable of what was on offer as a couple of friends could not decide on the beer they wanted...

Visited on Saturday for a pint and light bite, great service by sam behind the bar and she even gave us some recommendations on her fave food items. We’ll definitely be back to visit soon!

The atmosphere is calming and welcoming. Me and my Family thought the food was lovely. Our server Travis was really friendly and always punctual. I would definitely recommend this Pub to my friends at home
