Bridge Street Social Club in Aberdeen City

I didn't have any food, so I'm not sure about what that's like, but the place was really good for a couple of drinks, a dance and chatting to friends.

One of my favourite places for food and drinks but it needs to open sooner than 9 o'clock and needs to be open more during the week. This is one of the last few places in Aberdeen that is actually decent and its a shame that it's not open more often.

What a relief to get a decent Gin and Tonic after a day on the beer in Stonehaven. Tidy toilets.

Good clean place staff great good crack if you go in early as busy late on so pleas go in early to get the crack with the boys & girls plus get your AAA CARD for discount on great food & drinks cocktails mmmm

staff is lovely, and the cocktails are great! good bartenders. but if it can't improve on food... little tips: frozen fries must go in oil for more than 30sec. onion rings and deep fried chicken need spices in the batter. and i mean overall just look some recipes up, it's not so hard

We popped in here for a drink and it was very clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Would probably have eaten there if we hadn’t already

It's "ok" to go and grab a drink, but if you're part of a society trying to get the society AAA card, I would not waste my time here. They ghosted me for the entire semester after I tried to get in touch by all means. At the end of it, I just gave up. You'd think they would be interested in attracting new customers, but it doesn't seem to be the case. With the prices of drinks and food, their business probably doing fine without the need to "deal" with societies...

Good traditional pub. Excellent service

Delicious cocktails, nice decor and a friendly door man. But what on earth is up with the TVs?? Pictured is someone getting abdominal implants on the tv, why would anyone want to watch this while out for drinks with friends? I'm so confused...

We visited the Bridge Street Social Club for lunch. Initially it wasnt a place we would have thought of I am presumed it was more of a bar. The place was quiet as no sports on so good for us as we had a couple of teenagers with us. The food was excellent, plates were massive and the prices extremely cheap. Children are welcome. Kyle our server was fantastic. He was very informative, friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Went to Bssc to watch some Sunday NFL, place is well suited for it many screens and a nice selection of beer and food

Went here with the intention of claiming a free pint after winning one on MatchPint. For those unaware of MatchPint, it’s an app which mixes sports (such as football and rugby 6 nations) and certain pubs listed on the app where you can claim a free pint for predicting the outcomes of games. It works well for both the pubs and the punters as you don’t usually just go in for the free pint but usually end up staying for a few more so the bar will benefit from this. Going into the Bridge Street Social Club, I showed the app and free pint to the bar woman who was unsure what to do. She went down and spoke to a manager who mentioned they do not accept this. Having used this app for a few years now both in Edinburgh and Aberdeen, this is the first time ever a bar has refused to accept the offer they are promoting. Extremely disappointed and hope they remove themselves from the app list as soon as possible. It’s a waste of my time and everyone else’s. went round the corner however to the pool bar and they were happy to accept it. Gutted as this used to be my favourite bar before it was taken over all through my late teens and early 20’s. won’t be going back any time soon.

Really nice place for reasonably priced drinks and they have a lot of cocktails to choose from! Food is good as well, never had anything I haven’t liked, enjoy going here

I had a delightful evening at the BSSC, as I entered and approached the bar, I asked for one of there many cocktails. The bartender (a charming man named Bryn) had a very down to earth chat with me. I sat and enjoyed the company and setting. I shall be rushing back to this bar. I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend it to anyone who is Aberdeen. I would like to thank everyone who works in this establishment, sincerely.

A great place for a quick pit stop. A superior selection of drinks (as you'd expect). Plenty of screens to watch matches too.

I like places like this, but BSSC please turn down the volume just a notch. I don't mind not hearing any conversations around me, but not hearing anything the day after being there is a bit to much ...

Went in here to watch some sport and have a drink with some friends. Would say that as a bar it brilliant and efficient. After a few hours, we got a little peckish and decided to get a burger, it was not the best but what do expect? It's a great bar.

Its.just.a.mens.bar.there.no ladys.tiolets..its.up for sale.so who ever.take.it on needs refurbished.

We visited on a quiet Monday evening and really enjoyed the bar. Great staff, a few good beers and sport on TV as well as music. The sport tends to be American and the beer selection is not bewilderingly varied but that is not a drawback. The food looked pretty good and is not expensive. Worth visiting again.

Staff very super friendly and up for a laugh. Food was delicious and sorted us all out - very fresh. Recommend the drinks, great value for money! We will be returning.

I went several times with some friends and the staff is lovely with the customers. The cocktails are very affordable. It's a very good bar if you want to avoid the noisy club and you want something more intimate which is open until 2 am.

Went in for a pint. They sold me a pint. I enjoyed the pint. I then had another. I enjoyed my 2 pints.

Busy workingmans and pensioners pub, especially on a Friday afternoon. I'm sure a younger crowd would frequent in the evening. Nothing fancy here, but they have some nice whiskey available. No toilet facilities for ladies though. I guess the ladies would head over to the Trinity Centre if required. It's an OK pub.

Highly recommended Sunday sessions 😁

Regularly pop in after work for a quick pint as I finish late at another bar. Staff are always really friendly and were super helpful with finding my bag after I accidentally left it there. Glad they play American sports on the TVs and has a really good chill vibe to the place. Really wanted to watch the super bowl here but couldn’t get a ticket.

Great bar. Great to see they invest in the local community by sponsoring a local rugby club.

I came in with great expectations. Having heard that this was THE place to get my sport fix I came in. The barmaid was extremely disrespectful to my girlfriend and I borderline offensive. Upon asking whether commentary was permitted (it isn't, only for Scottish games and NFL Sundays) I was received with a cold condescending reply which left me with a sour taste. I left utterly disappointed and heartbroken. When I asked what ingredients were in the mocktail, they said it didn't contain alcohol. I asked once more and they said that one had orange and stuff, the other mint and a couple of other things, vague would be an enormous understatement. They did make the effort to go "check" but came back with nothing. BSSC is good if you lower your expectations, think sports with music over it, unpleasant customer service but comfy chairs.

Didn't like the dude in toilet with the products and towel, I thought it died out in the nineties.

Loved NFL Sunday! Only set back was the wings seemed to hardly have any meat on them but other than that great staff and great atmosphere.

Went with a few friends while we were in Aberdeen for the weekend, cocktails were fab & we found out they had live music on a Sunday night! We were so happy we found this place, great atmosphere and lovely staff just made it. Will def be back next time we're in town.

I came here because a friend recommended their philly cheese steak chips and I was delighted we came. As we were starving I had chicken fajitas (about £8ish) which came with 2 large fresh tortillas all the sauces and cheese and lettuce. Very nice. Better half had mac n cheese (although they ran out of garlic bread but he was offered a replacement (£8ish) which was a massive bowl and very cheesey. Finally we had the philly cheese steak chips to share and they kindly swapped the pepper sauce for gravy, and they were lovely!! Highly recommended. (£7ish) Washed down with a couple of beers and ciders it was a a lovely meal. Would Defo recommend coming here for nice food at a reasonable price in the city Center.

The receptionist from the Travelodge over the rd recommended it to us. OMG, I'm glad she did! Fantastic! I had the best chilli EVER! My other half had the chicken melt and she enthused about it constantly. Our son had the BBQ bacon burger and he grunted it was great in-between mouthfuls - (that's as much feedback as your Gunna get from a 17yr old!!) Best of all, on Mondays you get 50% off the food. Amazing I know! The whole bill with 2 alcoholic drinks and 3 mains only came to £20.00 No need to book, just turn up. Did I mention the portion sizes, huge.

Having popped in for a couple of pints as we had dinner nearby, the beers were reasonably priced for Aberdeen and there was a decent selection too. Would visit again but would not neccessarily be my first choice.

Fuimos aquí para tomar unas copas de camino a nuestro hotel, viniendo de la estación. Muy limpio, agradable personal y asientos adecuados. La música al principio parecía ser muy ruidosa, pero cuando nos sentamos nos dimos cuenta de que podíamos tener una conversación y aún no escuchar a nadie más, así que estuvo bien, creo que los techos altos fueron los responsables de las primeras impresiones del volumen.

Ideal para unas pintas con sabrosa comida y deportes siempre encendidos. El amable personal que te hace sentir bienvenido, uno de los mejores bares de Aberdeen.

Mientras que el BSSC siempre está en algún lugar en el que me gusta pasar el rato y llevar a los visitantes a la ciudad con su excelente menú y bebidas a precios razonables, es cuando hay eventos deportivos que este lugar realmente se hace notar. Pantallas masivas, grandes promociones y un ambiente encantador son estándar y el personal también es genial! Sin dudas mi bar favorito en la ciudad.

I was having a night out here with a couple of friends on a Sunday evening a few weeks ago and thoroughly enjoyed the live music that was put on. The bar was full and lots of people appeared to be enjoying themselves (myself included).

In Aberdeen there's not an awful lot to do on a Sunday night. Coming towards the end of the weekend, the only place I would go is BSSC for Sunday sessions. It's chilled at times but can also be mental with people getting involved.

Sunday Sessions is the highlight of the week in Aberdeen with BSSC hosting Aberdeens finest local musicians. They also host other awesome events throughout the week and year such as the hippy market. The staff are excellent along with the awesome food and drink selection.

I’ve been a regular visitor to BSSC since it was called Korova and it is just an awesome place to be!

Visited many tines as a customer over the years - both when it was Korova and now that it is BSSC. The evolution of the place has been amazing from a great late night bar into somewhere you can go for food during the day and drinks later into the evening! The bacon and cheese burger is a firm favourite and the staff are friendly and helpful! If you’re looking for a few drinks and a great night - Sunday sessions acoustic night is well worth the trip!

BSSC is my favourite place to watch live sport in Aberdeen, especially downstairs. Great screen, the food is perfect, friendly staff that always make sure to serve you as quickly as possible, and plenty space and tables downstairs.
