We were travelling from Lytham St Annes to Beverley when we wanted lunch. We found this great cafe only 5 mins from M62 jct 30 What a hidden gem. Lovely decor inside , outside seating also available, great menu, fantastic prices . Full English with unlimited tea and toast only £5 and served until 1:30 Staff very friendly too with lots of cakes also available. Highly recommended

We stumbled upon this little gem whilst out on our morning bike ride. Great cafe with a very good outside eating area. We had sandwiches which were freshly made and well presented served by very pleasant staff. Very clean inside and good comfortable seating. Good selection of food, table service by great staff. Will definitely be calling again and can thoroughly recommend. Open 7 days too

We call regularly for Saturday lunch or coffee n cake after a walk, they make kids feel welcome too. The staff are friendly, the food is plentiful & tasty & you get free refills of tea (not sure about coffee) & they had different types of milk (soya etc). the cakes are lovely too.

Well I’ve been here a few times and I can not rate it high enough. The food is all fresh and so tasty. The staff are fantastic nothing is too much trouble. The prices are also brilliant. Overall fantastic place. (And another plus point is you don’t leave smelling like food) Enter as a customer leave feeling you’ve gained friends. Even booked my daughters afternoon tea for her birthday nothing was too much trouble the staff all made sure everything was to high standards even rearranged the entire dining room area for the event. Only downside is… I’m a weekly visitor to this place why? Because this place is an addiction… 🥰🥰🥰

I phoned well in advance to book afternoon tea for two. I was told they only accept bookings through Facebook Messenger as they're too busy serving food to take telephone bookings. So I sent a message and received an automated reply. I got a proper reply 24 hours later. This is how they work - it's like having a conversation with the world's worst satellite delay. The afternoon tea menu is enormous with far too many options and it took me ages to trawl through it and make my choices but I'd failed to notice that every single person in your party has to have the same sandwich and savoury choices as each other (how can you get several people to all agree on having the same 3 sandwiches and the same 2 savouries?) although sweet choices are per person. I didn't get told about this until 9.55pm on the evening before my booking, and as I'd gone to bed early I didn't see the message until 8am on the day of my booking when it was too late for me to book somewhere else. To me, this system is not fit for purpose. If you haven't got the resources to take bookings without going back and forth on social media over the course of several days, or without restricting your customers to all eating the same things, then stick to bacon sandwiches. Shame because the actual food was nice.

Popped in with my pooch for lunch, took a little while to be served and it was a bit congested around the till, but it was sure worth the wait. The home made bread cake was delicious, the beef just melted in your mouth and the gravy was proper tasty. Even the chips were homemade, soft on the inside & crispy on the outside, how they should be. I'll be back for sure.

Love this place for its beautiful food, magical friendly staff and outdoor seating. We ordered bacon super well done and strong tea..often do this and get fatty bacon and weak tea...not here cooked to order to perfection..we had a butchers breakfast with unlimited toast and refillable tea or coffee. Gorgeous brownies that are proper chocolatey..really great place. Staff make it extra special...super ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ photos all prenibbled! 😂

Super friendly staff, do loads of themed kid friendly activities around holidays. Been here for hot sandwich- really good quality, hot drinks always well made, and their easter egg cheesecakes which is a new addiction for me. Ma B's is a firm favourite

I ate excellent freshly cooked baguette with tuna Mayo and cucumber. This was not on the menu but was provided willingly and with a smile. I sat in the sun on the patio right next to my bike. Very cycle (and dog) friendly, seemed to have a loyal band of regulars. Overall a super place for a hungry cyclist’s lunch.

Been ordering regularly from here for about a year but today I bought what was assumed a "fresh" cream scone to find the scone itself stale, the fresh cream was hard and the fruit had gone mouldy....
