Definitely the fish and chips in Luton. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and the portions are fantastic with ample parking for easy access.

4 drinks missing from order and chips were cold.

Always delicious and hot will always go back here

If I had never ordered from here before I wouldn't again. The chips were hard, cold & wrinkly as if left over from previous opening time. Pie and fish barely had any warmth to them. I know they can do better.

Man cooking chips has a beard down to his chest that is uncovered. If that is what they are willing to do in the open ...makes you wonder about cleanliness behind the scenes

As usual the food arrived piping hot!!! I'd suggest you order one less chips as their chip portions are incredibly generous. the fish is amazing and the crispy coating is ,just that , crispy. I recommend this take away everytime. love it

For some reason the chips are always really dry, crispy and old tasting. Not sure if it's because of the time of day or not. They're always fluffy and fresh if ordered in shop.

Food came earlier than expected (no complaints, no one likes waiting) and was hot a delicious, only complaint is the mushy peas, £1.60 for a tablespoon of mushy peas was a little overpriced, but everything else was great.

Great food but there was a missing item. Good job I ordered extra chips as one person had to have a plate of chips. please check your orders before they are sent for delivery.

The donner meat isn’t the same as it used to be…it’s definitely changed. Sadly not too keen on the flavour of the new donner meat.

This meal was a disgrace. The chips had been left so long the wasn’t fit for purpose. The sausages were undercooked and I payed £29 and couldn’t even eat the food. This chip shop has gone down hill massively and I will be reporting it to trading standers

Not usual quality, had to reheat as not very hot, not as many chips and curry sauce half the usual size. Hopefully better next time if not will not be using again

I don’t know why but this place has gone downhill so much in the last couple of months . I really used to enjoy the food . My order this time was wrong again for the 3rd time in a row . And the chips were so bad they looked like they had been sitting around for days . Very disappointing. I’ve been a regular customer for a very long time !! But I’m really not sure I will be using them again

First time ever my food has turned up cold from this chippy been going here for 15+years Other than food temp the quality is always on point and was fine after few mins in oven

I ordered a small chicken kebab with chips and it was delicious. The portion size was just right and the service was cheery and polite.

I normally don’t complain but this is the worst meal I have ever had from there . The chips were like cardboard !! Awful I think they were lunchtime chips . It was late and freezing cold plus I ordered 2 positions of chips and only received one . Very disappointing

Delivery was wrong. When rang to tell them that delivery was wrong they read a different order which did not match ours and insisted that was correct. Chips arrived stale and burgers had no salad or sauces inside although we specifically requested for them too (although this should be something standard). Used to order regularly for them and food standard and taste has progressively gone downhill.

I don’t usually leave reviews but this food was absolutely dreadful!! the chips were not cooked properly and dripping in oil in the notes I had said to make sure the chips were made properly that didn’t happen you have changed your curry sauce why is it spicy?? It taste awful I will not be coming back here again!!

The driver ignored the delivery instructions, sat in his car and phoned us to go down and get the take away. The food was very nice but the portion seemed smaller than when we last ordered.

Used to be brilliant. Nothing but problems recently. Disappointing. Very disappointing. Staff are rude and like to argue on the phone when they make mistakes also. Considering they rep luton town. Embarassing. Sad also as the manager is a very very nice guy.

Although Luton Town Chippie was really busy, tonight being the last Friday in January they still pulled it out of the bag, The food was hot, not greasy and ready for collection. Thanks guys. 5 stars

ordered reg cod & large cod ,there was no difference, batter wasn't crispy & I ordered 1 large Chips,Delivered 2 large Chips .Won't be ordering on a Friday again

Chips not up to usual standard, very scrappy. Curry sauce very watery today.

The fish and chips were very dry and not fresh at all . The fish did not seem like large fish it was more like medium. The food was not the usual fresh food we expected and have received in the past .

Don’t no what has happened to this chip shop I ask for fresh chips every time I get old black chips. I ordered large fish I get regular. The curry sauce is that small it doesn’t even do 1 person. Gone down hill massively

Food cold, I have ordered from here for a number of years but recently the quality hasn't been as good as in the past.

Food came early which was ok but it was lukewarm. Most of the curry sauce had spilled into the bag because the container wasn’t sealed properly and was poor quality. It’s a shame the quality has gone down as we usually like the food.

The restaurant Luton Town Fish & chips were 30 mins late delivering. although food left them at 17.08, so was well over 1 hour late .order was missing large cod . they upgraded status saying food had been delivered. food was cold . a disgrace from start to finnish. Will never use them again. They even claimed the wrong address was used

Food was cold, soggy and greasy. Had to reheat in microwave as it was so late I couldn't make anything else for dinner. Ordered just before 7pm, est delivery between 7:50 and 8:10, turned up at 8:25. Very disappointing.

Nice food. Portion size a bit small, but came on time. Saveloy was missing when order arrived, phoned restaurant and they delivered a fresh saveloy and a portion of chips within 20 minutes. 🙂

the Jamaican patty was stail and rock hard. we also order chips and it was the smallest portion possible. Burgers was edible but wont order it again.

Everything good but the plaice was rather greasy tonight. Probably not given time for the oil to drain after cooking.

Great little chippy. Ive only had the cod and chips from here but that's all I've ever needed from here. Decent pricing and they don't skimp out on the fish or chips. Will definitely come back when I get my next craving.

When the food came the burger appeared to have a funny smell - seemingly like the meat was off. We were disappointed with the chips as Luton town has been known for the brilliant quality historically.
