HB curry in Luton

Haven’t eaten here in a few years but the food was excellent. Chicken tikka biryani with chillies and spicy mixed donner was delicious and perfect. Naan was cooked well and light and fluffy. Don’t get many places in Luton doing the long thick strips of donner anymore, it’s always the small chopped donner which is horrible in other places.

My dd said she'd like to try this place after viewing the shop from her bus on numerous occasions. You won't be disappointed, absolutely delicious 😋 We had spicy donner and chips. I've had a normal kebab, probably 30 years ago. I was also naught and ordered pudding. Need i say more 😋 HB Curry has got me hooked. I will have to try the other meals, but not all at once, lol! Don't just take my word, see for yourself. You will not be disappointed. I would have given 5 stars all the way. But it is a very small place and feels like you're in a shack. There is a tv, but there is no atmosphere unless you bring that with you. But that doesn't stop me from giving credit to the food and staff member on that day who was incredibly helpful. Thank you and enjoy.

I had ordered through uber eats and picked the option of ‘donner meaty and chips and 1 piece chicken, in the notes section I had clearly written can I have the donner extra spicy. I had received my food 20 minutes later, the delivery time was exceptional, however the donner had come plain, I had called up and the person on the phone had said check the menu you had picked donner meat not spicy meat which I was fully aware of, he had told me repeatedly to check the menu and there was not even an option for SPICY donner meat and chips AND 1 piece chicken! Instead of being a know it all not even knowing his own menu he could’ve at least sent another donner out, as it was not even on the menu hence why I had written it out on the notes. I would highly recommend getting your food from elsewhere.

2 days ago i have orderd food when food got delivered,meat was disgusting and Row and When I complained they asked me to see them in their take away on my visit the person who takes the order usually his Reaction was rude and unbelievable he was threaten me to burn me with hot oil, please avoid this place if you care about your health

Proper scran! For spicy döner there isn’t many better places you come to in the south of England! The staff here a very helpful and polite to add!

Major disappointment as owners chamged the order without telling me by downgrading it yet charged full price. Last time I go in there and not recommend it to anyone else.

Probably the best curry I've had in years. The lamb bhuna was beautiful and the lamb so tender. Definitely give a try, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Amazing food! Lots of choice and everything we ordered was tasty and a good portion size. The biryani was also great. Specially (SPICY DONNER WAS BEST FOOD I EVER HAD) The staff were very lovely and helpful. So glad we chose to come here!

It was all going well when it arrived, really yummy and was happily enjoying my it until I found a thick dark black hair mixed with sauce in my lamb donner but me of food for the rest of the day

I love this place it’s just so good. The food is very good and it’s not very greasy like any other places I go, my favorite thing here is the Spicy Donner kebab. The experience in here too is great the workers are so kind and the owner is a very good hardworking guy and it’s nice to have a conversation with him. The price is even better: it’s cheap and it’s very good quality. Overall such a good place to go to after a long day of work. I’m eating the spicy dinner whilst writing this review.

This is the best fast food place I know I would reccomend this 100%. The owner always is kind and always start conversation. The food is great it is not dry I would reccomend the spicy Donner, it is the best. The workers are great people always put a smile on my face and others. Once again the owner is very kind and gentle.

This is really great I eat this food lots if time, every time I eat here its 10/10. I would recommend this the wings, they are great so is the naan, especially the donner. The food is rubbish and the person at the counter is rude never has a smile on his face no hello he looks at your face and don't say any thing like what would like

Workers are rude , gor my order wrong on top of that I asked for a meal only got a burger no chips no drink but was chargers for the meal. They did not allow me to check my order and rushed me out of the restaurant despite having 45minutes left till closing time. The worst experience ever staff need to be retrained on customer service, don't understand how these people got their awards

Just had a takeaway chicken biryani, and it was magnificent. Big container of seasoned rice and chicken, separate container of vegetable curry, and it was superb. I'm looking forward to having the other half for lunch tomorrow. Top nosh.

Food is not up to the mark waste of money

Worst place to order from, food to service would rate 0 if possible. Food was very late, got address wrong + chips under cooked had to refry them. List goes on don't waste your money in this shop go elsewhere 😡😡😡👎👎👎

I had ordered food from this place as I do every other week, usually there’s no problems at all but tonight, my food turnt up freezing cold, I live 5 minutes up the road and for it to be as cold as it was I think is a joke. I then called them up to say my food was cold and I would like a fresh load of food and they can take back what was first delivered, either that or I get my money back, they didn’t even apologise once for the inconvenience, they contribute to say it’s not their problem and they can’t do anything about it. I couldn’t be more disgusted by the service I received tonight.

Had a lamb tikka madras....amazing quality. Spicy donna is banging. no complaints about any of the dishes I've tried so far but the reason for 4 stars is that it is on the expensive side and I know one or two other places that offer similar quality but at a better price

Ordered from food delivery service..didn't receive food from them. Contacted the restaurant who were clueless and denied even getting my order. Saying the food app machine was broken. Would not recommend this restaurant as very poor service , rude staff and clueless in how to treat customers. Shame I couldn't give zero stars.

Nice an fresh, chicken was hot an juicy.

Spicy doner is very good , but the khyberi chicken was a huge let down and not even properly cooked. The side dishes were below average as well and the naan burnt at the back as they probably don't clean the Tandoor regularly enough. Not impressed but will try again to maybe change my opinion.

Amazing food at great prices, delivery is always almost perfect, i sometimes wish they cooked the chips a little bit more next time, but ill mention that when i order next.

Estimated delivery was half hour late curry was like water and hardly any chicken in it onion Bargi was soaked in grease first time I’ve used them had to phone shop to ask why it’s so late got told traffic had the cheek to text me for tip for driver even thou I had to ring them and ask why it’s so late

Excellent flavoursome food served by kind friendly helpful staff. Best curry we’ve all had for years and as we had children with us the staff brought them some chips while waiting which was such a lovely and very welcome gesture.

He refused to enter my building (I live in flats). I know sometimes that's the case but it was his attitude. If he could have told me to "f-off" I'm sure he would have. Abysmal customer service. I told him so and he shrugged and told me to tell the restaurant. Atrocious. Won't order again.

This place is bad. The waste of my money and my time. Have eating here couple times and is sad how this food place can have ward of the best takeaway in Luton. I mean food is cold people touching food with hands and not gloves. I asked for takeaway and pita bread is like a rubber. Kebab was cold. I had bad experience and I will not recommend to no one. Stay way from this cowboys dirty place.

Majorly disappointed, used to be a regular but won’t go again. Last order was wrong and beyond cold, delivery driver was rude when I sent it back and when I rang the excuse of “sorry were busy” just doesn’t cut it, if it’s too hard then slow down with the orders.

Depending on who's is selling. If there's a guy with a beard and glasses run - usually evenings. He always gives me food and charges dabble. Today a 1 x donnar meal for 10£ and i needed to struggle to get a coke. The lady selling in afternoon is very kind and nice. Even the food tastes better when she is around. Remember don't let yourself get scamed there. Always read the menu. I hope i helped you guys.

Food is amazing.. such taste...especially the mixed Meat Kebab Chips were nice and the chilli sauces Arrived on time..made a nice change We haven't ordered from here before..but we certainly will do in future.. I have ordered food items from the menu from here, but they haven't provided the bill with the parcel. When I asked the bill he said that as I paid the cash upfront through card payment, so he throw away the bill in the trash! It's not fair.. as a customer it's my right to get the proper bill. They should let me know the proper pricing of food items which I have bought through the bill.

The only best thing here is Spicy Donner on fresh naan breed it’s amazingly awesome definitely a try!!! No place is Luton can offer this Spicy Donner.

Great food, my new go to takeaway place

When an item was missing from the order, my sister phoned. The guy who claimed to be the owner was very rude and refused to listen and said that she was wasting he's time. My sister was the customer who PAID for the food. She should get what she paid for, not rude customer service and items missing. This is unacceptable. If I could give no star for this review, I would. Very frustrating. And from my experience which was a few times, there's always things missing. How can the owners walk with their heads high with services like this. No shame.

Usually i order through just eat for a delivery but today i decided to collect as i was near by to the shop. First class as always from these guys. Especially their spicy donner kebab, which the large portion caters for 2 people. Even their small portion for 1 person is more than enough to fill you up. I have now become a regular and the brother answering the phone already knows my order when calling up. Their delivery service is also great, whether its a weekday or weekend, ive always recieved my food within 50 minutes and i do live 15-20 minutes away. Today i was also given complimentary chips.Keep up the great work guys!!!
