Fantastic breakfast. Easily changed tomato and mushrooms for extra sausage and bacon. Clean and staff are lovely. Free tea and coffee with breakfast.

Eaten here 3 times now and food always very good and very reasonably priced too! Staff friendly and place clean and tidy. Recommend for a good breakfast

Went for quick lunch,got veggie platter. Portion size was massive easy to share between 2ppl.worth money.And detox smoothie was freshly made in front of me it was really good .staff was friendly. Definitely coming back.

Went for few dishes and cocktails, given a friendly welcome by Dan. Our waiter Marios was extremely polite, attentive, but not pushy. We come here often partly due to the great location (big outside area), but mainly for the great service. Highly recommend. We will back!

After a weekend down in Brighton with some friends, we came to Luna in search of easing our hangovers. I had a Big Breakfast, which did exactly what I needed it to. The staff are super-accommodating too. It's a no frills sort of place, and within that context, it's fantastic.

Voy aquí probablemente una vez a la semana. Tal vez por pereza, ya que está a la vuelta de la esquina, pero de cualquier manera me gusta aquí. Siempre voy por la opción de material de desayuno y una opción vegetariana dentro de eso. Me gustan las salchichas vegi.

Vinimos aquí para tomar un desayuno inglés completo, algo que no hubiera pensado que podría equivocarse tanto. Las croquetas de patata estaban empapadas de grasa y tenían un sabor horrible, la tostada no lo era (pan con una capa de margarina) y los frijoles horneados estaban muy fríos. No solo eso, ¡sino que los cuatro experimentamos la llegada de los cuatro desayunos escalonados durante 90 minutos! El último desayuno salió al menos una hora después del primero. Increíblemente mal servicio. Los propietarios trataron de disculparse con una bebida gratis para la persona que había esperado tanto tiempo, lo que resultó ser un gesto inútil mientras servían un batido (nuestro amigo es vegano y no solo había pedido un desayuno vegano sino que también había preparado un punto de pedir que no haya mantequilla en la tostada; uno pensaría que alguien prestaría atención a eso). Si busca un servicio rápido con una sonrisa y una deliciosa comida, definitivamente debería comer en otro lugar. Verdaderamente una vergüenza.

Awful service. Waited over 30 minutes for drinks, then when we complained they still took another 10 minutes to serve the drinks and a further 30 minutes for one of the coffees. Extremely disorganised, slow, unapologetic service.

Breakfast was ok. Aside from hash-browns that tasted like Chinese food and water that tasted like hot dogs. The people inside do not have a clue of what they’re doing. Embarrassing.

Este es un gran lugar para tomar un bocado o un café rápido. Hay una amplia selección de platos de su tradicional frituras, a su recién hecho sándwiches o chaquetas/rellenos. Tienes que probar el club luna probablemente el mejor sandwich en Brighton o si te gusta que te dieron algo de comida tradicional turca en el menú, hay algo para todo el mundo. Los batidos y café nunca decepciona, por lo que es perfecto para un almuerzo. El personal es amable y cortés, y siempre con una sonrisa de bienvenida de nuevo, especialmente desde el propietario quién sabe sus clientes y da un gran servicio y no supone una pequeña fortuna, una gran relación calidad-precio. Es perfecto para estudiantes, o si trabaja o vivir en la calle sin duda Lewes volver de nuevo.

El servicio era excelente y el personal amable. La comida era deliciosa, llegó en buen momento y el chico hizo todo lo posible para hacerme un café helado aunque no estaba en el menú. El tropical batido era increíble, ¡definitivamente volveremos aquí de nuevo.

Me and 5 of my friends, after a night out with a hangover came to this lovely cafe and had such a lovely breakfast & drinks. Lovely staff, service is always amazing and the food never disappoints and there smoothies are always so refreshing. Recommended to all - very busy and very friendly

managed to book a table for 10 at one days notice before pride and most food was good, although some took a while and the waitresses poor English confused matters a little. Generally good service and food though and cheaper than London Road alternatives

Waited 40 minutes for a simple beans on toast breakfast. two groups of people leave because of service &I had food dropped on me, worst service I've ever had. Never eat here

We waited an hour for our food. Which was cold. And the orders were wrong. People were served in the wrong order. Everyone around us was as frustrated and angry as we were - some didn't pay because the service was so awful. I've never experienced service so bad. The staff didn't care that they had upset their customers whatsoever. They seemed nonchalant and rude. I wouldn't eat here again if it were the last cafe in Brighton. The toast was cold, the tea tasted rancid. All round awful experience.

Waited 30mins for a below average tea, waited another hour for eggs and beans on toast, another table waited two hours for their meals with no apology. Food was not worth waiting for. Atrocious and rude service. Charged 1.40 for concentrated Apple Juice poured directly from a carton marked '75p'. When food was finally delivered the waitress spilled it over my friend and laughed. Complete waste of my time, do not waste yours.

Don't worry about the weather, there's all kinds of warmth in this little beauty. A treasure to be savoured.

In my year living in Brighton, Luna Deli has been my weekly Breakfast place. The all day breakfast is the cheapest in town. High quality food and enthusiastic staffs are the X factors which keep me visiting weekly.

It is more than brilliant to have a deli/cafe like this open up at the end of your street. This busy little family-feel cafe has to compete with the Lewes Road traffic (mad at the moment due to major road works at the Gyratory) but undaunted the Luna serves up every variety of breakfast to the customer's choice as well as Specials from the board and endless cups of tea and the accustomed variety of coffees.The Luna has a wonderful intimate atmosphere and the delicious smells of a home kitchen; it caters for everybody, it is democratic as Brighton gets. The lone coffee drinker is as welcome as the double table of lads breakfasting. It is a welcoming and warm place.I went in on a particularly nasty wet Sunday afternoon and was treated not only like a long lost family member (or neighbour) but to a magnificent smoothie conjured by the boss himself enigmatically known as T. The smoothie not only cured a nagging cold but also settled a tummy upset. I think T might be a magician!!My friend had a customised breakfast fresh as the day the eggs (scrambled) were hatched accompanied by an indolent sausage. No culinery task is too great for this great little eatery. The service was a smiling gift on a dull day.I feel sure Luna might double as an "office" space for regulars who meet there to pass the time or do business.There is alot of competition in this student-heavy area of town and Luna keeps its head above water supplying suitable refreshment ans entertainment ; the take out coffee on the way to the University, the welcome sandwich/panini/baguette to eat on the bus or the ubiquitous all day breakfast to enjoy at your leisure.This is a star spot on the Lewes Road, tables and chairs outside on sunny days, and must be visited to soak up the wonderful family atmosphere. The title pretty much explains it all! Good sized takeaway cups too and friendly man who served us, worth buying your coffee from there rather than a high street chain.

Oh dear lost its charm and uniqueness... sorry to say piles of washimg up on view which is right by the unisex toilet which has no hot water .... this was a nice place bur its really lost its way. Pity

I regularly go to this delightful cafe almost five tines a week be it for a mocha, snack, chat, breakfast or luncheon.The food is excellent, always busy and with a small staff giving individual service may mean you may have to wsit another five minutes.Freshly cooked and varied from a full English to a full Algerian.... superb sandwiches, salads, homemade lasagne (Madam Hostess Maria is Italian) and cakes. Open seven days a week early til five and a little jewel in the now up and coming Lewes Road once an empty carcass now on the rise, alive and kicking.

My girlfriend and I often have breakfast here. I usually have the Algerian veggie breakfast which comes with all fresh salad and tasty homemade algerian bread with feta and falafel. Lucy opts for the veggie fry up which is fresh and has all the usual trimmings. The lady owner is very friendly and she takes pride in her food. Recommend this place for breakfast or brunch.
