Luigi's Pizzeria in Wakefield

Visited here with family off the back of a recommendation and we wasn’t disappointed. The food here is fabulous & I would say the best Italian I’ve visited in the UK. The prices are very good too with plenty of choices. Well worth a visit you’ll not regret it.

Good authentic Italian food served in an authentic Italian atmosphere. Portion sizes very generous - especially deserts! I have lived and travelled in Sicily and Italy and this feels like being there. Would recommend for dinner with friends or family.

Este es un muy buen restaurante. El servicio es bueno, la comida es muy buena y los propietarios se enorgullecen de lo que hacen. Luigi mismo está en la cocina de la cocina que asegura la comida siempre es genial. Volveremos.

No tengo malas palabras para luigis. Cada vez que vamos nos sentimos bienvenidos. La comida es maravillosa y el servicio también. Es una pequeña joya para Birstall. No es barato pero no era abusivo y creo que tienes lo que pagas, merece la pena el dinero para tener un lujo.

Me gustó mucho el ambiente y los sabores de la comida. El precio también es genial. Hemos estado 5 veces. Algunos buena música lírica italiana de calidad realmente añadir a la ya gran ambiente.

This restaurant is sited in what was previously a run down public house which closed due to lack of trade. Therefore I was not sure what to expect on my first visit, but then I discovered that Luigi does exist & knows more than most about Italian food. Just walking in the place is enough to get the taste buds going. The aromas are as delicious as the very expertly prepared food. Prices are very reasonable and the ambiance, even on a quiet weekday evening is charming, warm & friendly. Weekends can be hectic - suggest to book. Think I could change my mind on what I'm gonna do for dinner tonight....... Darling??...
