Lovely fresh food and always hot ++++!

I ordered doner meat and chips, and asked for ketchup and mayo on it. Instead they gave me 3 sachets of mayonnaise that were a year out of date.

A bit dearer but made in front of you.fresh.clean premises,open with nothing to hide... no delivery though

Well i am working away close to darios so i thought i would try it. Donner kebab - came on a tortilla wrap?! and the donner meat strips where like toe nail clippings, in size and texture Thin crust meat feast pizza - thin crust yet i have managed to save a slice to use a door stop when im carrying my bags out of the hotel Garlic sauce tub - i have sold as cement to the local bricklayer

Ravioli, snack pizza and garlic mushrooms, highly recommended

The best garlic supreme pizza. Crisp but soft and jummy. Cheese melted to just the right point. Family run business with staff who are very polite.

We have ordered from here for the last 10 years roughly once every 6 weeks and never once had a order wrong or we didn't like. Amazing food great prices and friendly staff. Can't wait to our next order.x

Can’t recommend Dario’s highly enough! I’d go as far as saying the best pizza I’ve ever had and continue to travel here for pizza! The two guys who run/own this place are very polite, kind and nice blokes. Highly recommended

It was nice, had better, had worse. Order was a little wrong (I ordered a calzaone but I got the same ingredients on a pizza instead). Enjoyed the food

Best pizzas around, yes dearer than "next doors" but next door is a generic ready made type pizza place, little toppings, burnt, not fresh 1 star shop. Darios food is made infront of you, fresh produce mainly, and its clean, definatly no rats as another reviewer says on here( the kitchens in full view of the customers so you can see its top dollar) pay a bit more and get darios, its worth it, ignore the 1star reviewers on here,probably other shops that lose custom to him

Very poor. Cheese was very strong. Pizza was very oily. Thought I'd give it a go on reviews. Sorry won't be going again.

Used to live in this area and now in northern Ireland..was visiting family and called here..fantastic place, handmade proper Italian pizza and chips even to die for.. amazing place.. love it.

Seen rats Running around The kitchen told the Owner and he kicked me out Then i went next door to khans Who explained to me that Because of neighbour They had a problem with The rat problem So they called in pest control Who got rid of the pest but You can still see rats around Back of darios running around I dont think he cares Or should i say allways a Grumpy old man With no customer service skills And he not italian he is from Iran but acts italian

Dario arrived in Knottingley many moons ago and the food is and always has been, top notch. Pepperoni pizzas are to die for and his kebabs beat anything the local kebab shops have to offer. If you can take hot food, try his chilli but be warned, it is hot, hot, hot.

I've been going to Dario's for years get on well with the workers they are very friendly. It is quite expensive but you pay for what u get, I believe it's the best Italian take away round here. I've had pizzas burgers and lasagne here and never had a problem with any of the food before, he also makes the pizzas in front of you.

This pizza shop use to make really flavourful pizzas, over the last few months food is ok I wouldn't say it's terrible it's a little too oily now the chilli's they use are over powering so you lose the taste of pepperoni and anchovies. The presentation looks good apart from the excessive oil I hope they do sort it I'll give it ago again one day but not for a long while.

Fantastic pizzas, maybe even the best in the local area. When you compare the quality you get for the price, things like Dominos look like a rip off in comparison. Sadly don't deliver but the pizzeria is quite nice and retro and 50s, so go and check it out when you pick up. Wow Dario's, great moves, keep it up, proud of you!

I love the pizza from here. It’s really authentic pizza and the garlic mayo is fantastic. They don’t deliver but they are far the best pizzas around. The shop is very clean and everything is freshly prepared and made to order. Definitely returning.

Wow, just wow...ordered three pizzas from this place an hour in advance, arrive...pay...then they started cooking? even after i asked them what time I should stop by to pick them up? Ridiculous. The place looks dirty too and the staff could do with an attitude adjustment. There are far better take aways not very far away. The pizza was mediocre at best and if anything over priced.

This little take away sadly doesn't deliver but 100% worth venturing out to collect. I'm from Scotland and we visit family down this way and I'm always dying to get my Dario's pizza!! Best I've had in years!!

Good choice of Pizzas,burgers,etc. All Fresh and nicely cooked.I think it is the best in Knottingley...

The pizza is more expensive then all the Indian places around town but you get what you pay for real meat and real mozzarella not the cheap and tasteless toppings you get from the others.

There is no better pizza take away in the area. Pizzas always, fresh, tasty and a pleasure to watch them being made. The prices have risen over the years and you will find cheaper elsewhere, but you will not find better quality.

Have used Darios since the opened, cannot fault them excellent.Clean premises and the staff are helpfully.

We have been using this take away since it opened in 1988/89? Excellent food always, have never been let down and have come to know Dario the owner over the years. It's a take away not a restaurant.

Had pizza`s from here since around 1990 , always very good , clean shop , you see your food made and cooked , staff are lovely , extensive menu , great choices , fair prices , never been disappointed , would highly recommend for hot fresh very tasty quality pizza fired in real pizza ovens , beaut :)

Theyve sigue a pesar de la competencia de más comida para llevar más de treinta años, creo que ellos han sido bien obviamente haciendo algo bien una pena por alguna razón que no han la ruta de entrega

Dario's is the best pizza place around, I don't think it helps that there situated on a row of shops that attracts a lot of "youths" I normally go order my pizza and wait in the car, nice family run pizzeria :) I travel ten miles to visit Dario's as they don't deliver but I don't mind as I've never been disappointed :)

Been a regular here for years would never say to this wondeful take out! The pizzas are absoloutley gorgeous!

on first sight of this establishment it may seem a lovely family take-out but after further inspection i found a little rat found near the small bin near the front door wether it was wild is unknown for all i can guess these filthy animals are thriving in the basement of this fast-food place. after pushing myself to order a pizza i then got a comment after accidentally dropping a slice on the floor i ran out as the owner wasn very vicious towards me as i started to walk out of the place he started screaming down the street he would rape me!!!!! :(

Dario is a legend in Knottingley. He has long been King of the pizzas and once all the Indian takeaways tried to take hold of Knottingley, including one next door to him, he threw his hand into the kebab ring too.His kebabs are gorgeous, Dario always uses high quality ingredients and this is reflected in the price. Sure, you can go next door and get a kebab or a pizza cheaper, but you'd have to be a fool to go down that root. Or maybe have a lack of taste buds.If he delivered, I would eat a lot more of his fine cuisine.
