I have enjoyed “Chinese food” for many years. When you order From Lucky Star the food is good. I have tried the others around Here and been disappointed. Never the case with lucky Star. I live in Albany road EN35 UB.

New to the area and took the plunge here in trying to find our new regular Chinese takeaway. I'm super picky about my Chinese food, can't bear the sticky, sweet, gloopy stuff offered by most generic Chinese takeaways in the UK. None of that here I'm pleased to say! Great vegetarian choices on the menu, we ordered veggie spring rolls, salt and chilli tofu, tofu with black bean sauce and vegetable curry, with rice. All delicious, no food colouring to be seen, vegetables fresh and crunchy, sauces tasty without excessive use of oil/cornstarch/flour thickeners. And delivery time was very good. I look forward to eating here again!

Took a long time for food to be prepared seems quite disorganised. The food itself was below average. It seems like two of our mains had no veg in them but waited so long to receive the food we didn't bother to complain.

Does this restaurant sell proper chinese one ton soup with sea food .

Very polite staff, I found the lady I spoke to helpful. I don’t live in the area but I visited a friend and found this Chinese takeaway via google search. Really pleased with the food, extremely tasty and tender meat with scrupulous sauces. The prawn crackers remind me of my child hood. I highly recommend and myself and my family will 100 percent order again. Keep up the great work. Exceeds most Chinese takeaway and very fast service. 🌟✨💫⭐️🫕🍤🥮🍱🥟🧧

Run of the mill Chinese takeaway no frills fair quality food for the price.

Been going to mr lucky star for over 20 years not found anyone better yet...

Had to wait 1hour and a half for my food when it got here it had mushroom which i specifically asked to be removed it was covered in sauce which I asked to be put separately then they said they will resend my noodles I received a small one i paid for a large it waa very frustrating. Once the small order got delivered it still had none of my requests, being pregnant it caused me to be sick and throwing up. There was no compassion or understanding I will never order from here again.

Well I never oriental chef was not picking up BIG MISTAKE this is the best chinese food spare ribs rice sweet and sour chicken hong kong style totally AMAZING

Ordered a takeaway delivery the pork was very poor meat and the prawn crackers smelt of old oil not like prawn crackers should smell.

My absolute favourite place for Chinese food. Love the Kung Po chicken and chilli chicken are fantastic.
