Everything was over salted, prawn crackers were stale, sweet and sour chicken so small that it didn’t appear to contain any meat at all let alone chicken. Wouldn’t order this for my worst enemy. WOULD RATHER STARVE THAN ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN

Worst Chinese around food was un eatable avoid waste of money

We have been eating food from here for over 20 years. Obviously it has changed hands at some point. Over the last few months the food has been way too spicy! Asked for my curry to be milder, it came like soup! Had been watered down! Surely a good chef can make a milder sauce, without just adding water! Phoned up to point this out, person on phone confirmed that water had been added as they batch make the sauce. I didn't want soup!! They didn't seem to care either way! Disappointed with the service, which is a shame as I used to like the food from here. Will have to go elsewhere in future.

A fairly basic take away though then food is always consistently nice. Good portions for a good price

To start with the delivery was late! Out of the 5 dishes we ordered only 2 were okay-ish, the other 3 we threw in the bin as the meat didn't look right. When calling them to explain the guy sounded half asleep and was very unhelpful. *hope this helps*

Wouldn’t even rate you 1 star very disappointing. After ordering online at 20 past 10 my order was confirmed With an estimated delivery time. Yet you did not answer your phones or show up.

Just had an order from here for the first time because our usual Chinese takeaway was closed. Will also be the last time we have anything. Greasy poor quality mush. Honestly don’t waste your money.

I order from here at least once a week maybe twice a week if I feel sassy ❤️... The service is top notch, food is unbelievable and I'm picky.. Never had a bad meal yet, its always on point .... Had a slight issue tonight which was resolved (no fault of there own) within minutes and we are extremely happy We really appreciate you from 23 Selborne .... Great job guys 🤘

Some problems while ordering in the phone as they always said no to few things that are actually included in the menu.

Absolutely worst food I've ever had, couldn't even eat 90% of the meal, meat was uncooked, batter was raw and like jelly, The sauce was disgusting, chips were soggy and definitely not freshly done. Do not waste your money literally never in my life been served anything this bad.

Having waited an hour for a delivery I got a notification from Just Eat to say my food was on the way!!!! Minutes later I get another notification to say that the order had been cancelled!!!!! Not what you need at 11pm and hungry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No one tried to call or nothing!!! When I called to see what was happening I was told that the driver had left the area now and that nothing could be done!! The man on the phone was far from helpful!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID

Sadly the new owners are not as diligent towards the loyal customer base the old owners amassed. The standard of the food and the customer service Is shocking. I was a loyal customer for over 10 years. The food was excellent, customer service was amazing. Sadly the new owners do not listen correctly to orders especially when there is an allergy to be cautious of. Ordered 3 meals asked for no bamboo shoots or pork. All three meals full of pork and bamboo shoots. Personally collected as they don't take card payments anymore ( Clearly to defraud the inland revenue by fiddling the books. ) Arrived home to find food is unacceptable Then when I complained, I was told fresh meals would be delivered straight away within 30 mins. Now the previous owners would of kept that promise. However spoke to them at 10pm. My food never arrived til 11.20pm. I'm calling repeatedly to which they are ignoring my calls. In the end as I know the delivery driver I called his number to ask where my food was considering I'm disabled & heavily pregnant. I was told oh we had another order so we cooked that and sent the driver to deliver that and then brought my Luke warm food to me at 11.20pm. The previous owners would of recooked my fresh meal and sent it forthwith as they knew they were at fault esp as there is an allergy warning on the order. This ignorant owner did not care or have the consideration to even apologise. The replacement was cold and not of the standard of how the previous owners would cook with love and respect. Even my godson was given food poisoning he was sick a whole weekend from this shop when he ordered prawn fried rice, Pls avoid this place like the plague. I certainly will not go back or send anyone else to eat from here.

Placed an order for the 1st time ,was told 45min to an hour waiting time. Over an hour later I called to be told they haven't started my order yet to fir her be told I we don't know how much longer I will need to wait and to further cancel my order because they were busy .🤨🙄totally unprofessional. Do not recommend !

First time order. Excellent chow Mein can't fault the cook price or the service.

Ordered from here for the 1st time and wasnt disappointed. Delivery took a while but came on time which we didnt mind because Everything we ordered tasted amazing and quality was great. The portion sizes were huge. We ordered special curry and chips,salt and pepper crispy shredded beef,salt and pepper chicken wings and sweet n sour chicken balls. And a curry sauce. We also received a free bottle of pop and a bag of prawn crackers which was a lovely gesture. Thanks for a great service. We will definitely be ordering again soon . Keep up the good work.

I use this place regular, it's the only Chinese that makes a wicked chicken fried rice. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Don't know if this takeaway has changed hands but obviously changed the chef.. we loved this place and have used regularly over last 8 years but twice lately we've had food that's not cooked they've changed recipes completely aswell for popular dishes which are awful. Using substandard meat aswell.such a shame they will definately lose our business now.

Recently moved to the area and the Second occasion I have been here. The food is excellent the the quality of the service is quick and friendly. I feel people shouldn't always jump on the negative side of things. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. They haven't let me down on the 2 occasions I have been here. In any business there are good and bad days but still this place is worth a try.

Orders my food via just eat.co.uk, lucky house said that would deliver my order and hour later! After an hour I tried over and over to ring them but they disconnected their phone lines and my food is no where to be seen but I’ve been charged! I will NEVER order from lucky house again!

Absoluty ridiculous ordered food 2 hrs ago n hasnt turned uo phone is now off hook wouldnt mind waiting n get told theres rats running round the back so check ur food 4 droppings ppl

Normally collect but tonight I meant to have one delivered . over 1halfs hours later and two phones and still nothing rang back up he said I will ring back but never . just came all warm and missing order

Last time ordered from here the curry sauce was like water, the beef was really tough and the chips were like concrete. Never again

Excellent quality of food, and each dish has its own unique taste. Great value , timely delivery and collection. Highly recommend
