Subway in Birmingham

Went to subway at 16:20 said he can’t serve me there was 10 minutes left to close and he was serving other customers very poor service. Straight away worker (Aniket) said I cannot serve you. Service needs to be improved.

The food was OK but service was rushed and there was only me and my friend in there. Just like they wanted to go sit down and we were stopping them doing that..

I am not sure why the staff at this specific store are always so impatient, I never go during lunch hour, I was the only one there and they act like there are hundred people waiting in line. They never have the patience to place the food on the bread normally but always tossing them on there ( much less amount than other stores) yet have the time to pick the smallest slice of tomato ( as big as your thumb nail), I saw the female staff picked a normal sized tomato slice first then dropped it and picked the smallest one. It’s like the ingredients comes out of their wallet. I could live with that until in my sandwich there I bit into sth really hard, and there were two, felt like small pieces of rocks, and that never ever happened to any Subway stores I ve been to.

Good food and good service the server on duty Sumit was really chatty and kind appreciated the brief chat I had with him

Very disappointed tasted old and dry. I think the bread was old, don’t think I’ll go again as I think it was reused

This is one of my two favourite Subway branches from all of the West Midlands and even London. The restaurant is hidden away just off the University Guild so gets missed to the main eateries on site. What a pity. This a gem. And the staff are sofriendly its a great shame if you miss out. I always chat away for a good 20 minutes whenever I visit as the staff are pretty laid back sa they are students or of that age group. Very generous too on drinks and fillings. Just look to the cycle shelter to the West side of the Guild to see the signage.

Please list real open times. It’s always closed past 19.

Nice place, clean, quick service. Got the teriyaki vegan sub, great choice. Overall good experience :)

No sauce, no spinach, no hash browns , and on top of that no coffee as well.

Wrong bread and drinks not received ! Ignored all calls. Terrible !!!

They make the best sub in the UK. Humble staff. Generous in sauces and toppings. Loved the experience.

Great location, nice to eat out and enjoy the campus nearby. Restaurant was clean and the food was fresh and tasty. Service is quick and staff are really friendly.

Man was patrolling the area with the mandem and in the corner of man's eyes he saw did Subway ting. The lads went in with numbers but the bloody Rona didn't allow us. So man had to go in all alone vulnerable from the rival mandem

No bread. No meatballs, no card machine. Long que. Terrible

Passive aggressive staff that blasted music and were barely audible. Besides from that, nice food.

The Guild Subway is great for a quick bite to eat whilst at the university. It is generally busy but thankfully they remain efficient and quick. The quality of food is standardized as with any Subway but enjoyable non the less. The staff are friendly and they are always playing music which is a nice touch.

Absolutely awful music and far too loud. Always too many trainee staff regardless of the time of year. Lacking in the some of the new menu additions.

I have just been to this place and it was disgusting. I was at the ice machine getting some ice and the employee didn’t let me use the machine even though I was paying for the drink. The staff was totally unprofessional and seemed to be agitated and angry even before I entered the store and they took out their anger on me. I think subway needs to make sure their employees are fit to work there or their franchise won’t survive the see able future. If I could give them 0 starts, I would.

Offers good meal deal (Only 3 or 3.5 founds for drink + half sandwich)

Always have friendly staff who try to get your orders done as quickly as possible with good quality service

Very convenient location, and very convenient midnight hours - especially on social "fab" nights out at the Guild of Students.
