Staff was busy in giggling and laughing in a corner, while customers were waiting for at till. Their service is also very slow.. They need to be more attentive

One of the worst chicken burgers I have had in my life , sooo soo dry , worse food ever! Never again!

Horrible customer service, I’m ordering online and have called 20 times to request a change to my order and they haven’t picked their phone even once!

First few times I visited 10 out of 10 (was new in the area) I got the number 14 chicken wing combo with and ice cold coke every day....... Just recently the BBQ sauce has changed, the SF chicken is sloppy and under cooked and they have stopped selling propper coke. Unfortunately I'll be spending my money elsewhere from now on the last time I ordered I had better at dixi chicken which is saying alot

Had high expectations but severely disappointed. Spicy burger meal, 6 pc wing meal and 8 extra wings came to £17. Burger meal - fillet was dry, bun was toasted to chargrill. Hasbrown slightly cold in the centre. Wings-dry, no flavour/seasoning. Will be giving this a miss. Ketchup and mayo is free but if you want chilli sauce then 30p extra !

Where do I start, a big a big London brand coming to Birmingham. I was expecting great things from this chicken shop. I paid a visit and got a spicy wings meal and a cheeseburger. The bill came to £10.80 which straightaway set the standard as that’s not exactly cheap, I was expecting something delicious. What did I get? A processed burger in a recycled box and spicy wings with a generic flavour that I can’t even describe. I am not even lying I have tried more Flavoured chicken in Dixie or some other deadbeat shop for £2. I don’t know if this is what the company represents or it’s just this branch is rubbish, but either way I wont be coming beck this is definitely a pass.

I have had morleys on several occasions, i must admit at the time its really tasty, however every single time my stomach and bowl have different experiences. There is something in that chicken what makes not just me but my staff memebers suffer. Ive made a promise to myself i am never going back again.

Decent place, food was nice nothing wow, place has a couple of tables, just another dixie or uk fried rip off but if I was passing buy would pop in but not go out of my way for it, overall decent

Terrible. I live a 2 minute drive away yet the food was cold when I got home. Chicken burger void of any taste. Fries not fully cooked. Thought the hot wings might save it from being a totally waste of money. Wrong. Coleslaw tasted like it had been kept in a freezer. I know KFC is more expensive but at least I get hot edible food.

Ordered wings and chips. Disappointed. Big pieces of oily wings but most of it was just hard and dry batter. Hardly any chicken on the bone. Chips underwhelming as well.

Always rated at 100% but not been in a while and the BBQ sauce must be a different recipe cos it just tasted of vinger and ruined the experience - go back to the old recipe

This is my third time visiting this store. Special thanks to nargiss who New her products. It was a pleasurable and a time to remember. Especially as I've have a brain injury, it's really appreciated that the service was exceptional. Omar learned from the best.

At last, I have found a place that serves bbq chicken in brum. Since chicken cottage in dudley Road shut down, I have been looking. Customer service could be improved, it appeared that one particular staff never wanted to argue with customers. If you can't adapt things on the menu, just say that. Food was tasty, reminded me of night outs in South London. #reminiscing

Not impressed will never order from here again chips were cold and the bbq chicken was absolutely nasty and it smelt off like it had expired

Ordered here first time for me and my family I would say it was pretty nice for the value of the money, it had flavour and crunchiness only thing I was unhappy about was that they didn’t give us sauce although I requested some.

Nice food at very reasonable prices. There wings are better than KFC, very crispy, tender and juicy. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to have fried chicken.

Can't lie was excited to try Morley's.. all the London lot rave about it being the best thing ever. Been more than a few times and I can say it's so hit and miss, think it depends on who's working. I wish the hot wings were hot but they just lack tbh. Fries are always stone cold and soggy like what is this. Real ones know that Tennessee used to be the spots Bearwood or villa road used to slap and can't lie since they been gone left a big hole that hasn't been filled

Morley's... It tastes average at best. Gotta say I like the idea of chicken shops branching out and expanding. I'm happy for their success. Unfortunately, the food just didn't do it for me when I tried it which makes me question how they got to such heights of popularity. Chicken tasted dry and not perticularly fresh. Chips, whilst a decent portion and definitely a quality cut just wasn't very tasty. An almost musty kinda smell like old oil came from them. Maybe it was just a off day? Service was brilliant and with a smile. But bottom line is, if the fried chicken ain't on point, no matter what kind of service you provide,it's still gonna be a poor experience. I spent 28.65 for 4 meals and am extra order of wings. For comparison, I'd say dixys would probably cost 40% less for the same meal and atleast then, if it tasted dry, I'd justify it by saying it was cheap. Lol. So moral of the story- good service, clean shop and good service let down by subpar food.

Just bought 2 spicy chicken fillet boxes after recomendation of a friend,drive over 5 miles to buy and get surprised after opened the boxes.2 cheese burgers instead of chicken.Even confirm from a girl on counter during order.Tried many times on their contact number but not answering as usual.Really disappointed.Staff love to listen songs insted of concentrate making orders.What a joke!!

Bought two meals, classic chicken burgers turned out dry, returned it only to get two more dry burgers in the end walked out without eating them ! Waste of money and time !

I'm completely addicted to their spicy wings! Every time I pass by I have to go in and get myself a 12-piece box. Love it!

Service took ages food was cold

Cheeseburger : Buns were hard. Smallest patty you would see with limp lettuce. Also there was no cheese. Why call it a cheese burger? The sauces were just ketchup and burger sauce. 2pc Chicken meal: Received two dry breast pieces. Batter on the skin was crispy, but underneath the chicken it was so pale I thought it was going to tell me to go back go where I came from. This might have been due to moisture, the batter also has no seasoning very bland. Paid 90p for a larger burger sauce and got a small tub. Bit of a pisstake cause that cost 35p. All in all, you’re better of avoiding this place, I should have listened to others who complained about it being basic. Such a shame as this place would have so much potential if there were more exciting options and if food was prepped better. Only London trait they’ve brought is how much flavour they lack. I’d be surprised if this place is still standing in the next couple of years.

Consistently good tasting food and service - the staff also give you what you ask for with no qualms which isn't always the case with it's popular competitors.

Edit. We have been quite regularly but our visit this week was grim. Cold hard chicken that had been made hours ago. Totally different team working the joint and a total disappointment. Two stars knocked off the review and a need to do better from Morleys. It was not a good meal. We deserve better from such a well known brand. ____________________________________ First visit. A quick look at Google Maps doesnt paint a rosy picture on the city’s fried chicken scene. A quick overview shows a plethora of chicken joints with 3 star reviews. Bonehead and Greidy’s stand a bit above the rest which are mostly variants of a UK Fried Chicken style branding plus Dixy Chicken. I dont care much for chicken on the bone. I like strips or chunks of chicken breast meat. And it feels like there is a lack of good places to get this. Dixy do chicken strips but theyre blatantly “spiced” with chilli sauce so by the end of your first strip you cant taste anything anymore except heat. No subtlety. No citrus, bbq, cajun notes. Wingstop aint worth the money but their rubs and seasonings are more varied. So we went to Morley’s with a bit of trepidation. However we left reasonably fulfilled. We ordered a Magnum box and a strips meal deal (5 strips, fries and a drink). The chicken burger was apparently succulent tasty. The wings were hot and crispy and the strips, were mostly soft and tender. The shop eas quiet so a lot of food was ready prepared. When the shop is busy you will get fresher because turnover is higher. By all accounts they are a London based chain, this is their first Brum branch. Branding is pretty generic - red like most other chicken joints. The place has a small amount of seating. Its not huge. So I’ll add this to my list of places to return to. It was much better than Jaqks in Shirley last week.

The shop workers don't answer the phone I tried 11x on 12/02/2023 between 14:05 to 14:23, I wanted to ask if they were halal and if they were I was looking to place an order. I ended up ordering from Rio's, I won't bother with a food place that can't even return a phone call. PS - never again (stay in London as you lot flopped in Brum)

Both me and my partner woke up this morning with bad belly from eating here it was the only meal that we had that day and bare in mind my partner has cancer and it was a little treat for us. Food is basic at best Wish I went dixy instead The Workers look like they don't even wana be there. Morleys London is way better Wasted my good money on this basic farm foods meal. NEVER AGAIN will morleys Birmingham see me They don't cook the food properly or if its there hygiene or both this place is Disgusting !!!!!!!!!!

I was visiting family in hospital on Dudley road. Travelled from Wakefield and ended up eating here.. nice food and very accommodating staff.

Smart looking shop, decent staff, dealing with delivery orders and site customers can require all staff serving, 3 staff makes a good team, it's really great for burgers and fries.

Above average food and I enjoyed my meal. I love the buns they use, it adds a bit of wow factor to your meal. BBQ wings were really good and Probably the best BBQ wings I've had in Brum but too much of it can be sickening as its very sweet. Overall I liked what I ate and I'll most likely order again.

Checked the good reviews to this that’s why tried. Very disappointed. Waited an hour for the meal, workers are rude and look like don’t want to be there. When burger was done they still had not made the fries so burger was cold and dry and the end with hardly any sauce and fries were undercooked, even got part of my order wrong. Also the bun had a lot of margerine on it? Which I thought was strange

Firstly I've only included the photo to prove I actually visited the store. Secondly after reading the reviews on this page I think there is some kind of campaign being organised against this place for whatever reason. So here is my honest review Visited there today and made a decent sized order. Chicken was well cooked and flavoursome and the wings were some of the biggest I've seen in a chicken shop. Staff were polite and courteous and served with a smile and I think the boss was there as he chased up our order and thanked us for for stopping by as we were leaving... Also was nice to see the boss man grab a broom and clean up rather than leave it to the staff (nice touch that!) All in all the food was very nice (and yes Ive had London Morleys) can't complain clean place friendly staff and great food! The girls both enjoyed their magnum burgers and of course we all loved the chicken!...and they are fussy eaters!

I am a big foodie, I grew up in London. I know a good fried chicken when I taste one. Even the flintstones will find it hard to bite this burger. Harder then a brick. Maybe made out of Vibranium? Maybe I'm blind as bat, I don't see this branch on their actual site, very fishy...

If you are from London don’t go here. This doesn’t go anywhere near to the taste of London branches. But it’s clean

Family of 5, We drive up from Solihull all the way here for the chicken, that’s how good it is! The wings are the best we’ve tried yet. Nice seating area. The main man is always present and very approachable and customer service from him and all the staff is always amazing!

I was sent the complete wrong order, i was told by the dri er i would have to call the restaurant, driver took the order as it had a different name on it and left, when trying to contact the restaurant its not possible, sends to a voicemail service that appears to be full. I recommend to avoid, customer service is cleary not at the forefront of their missions. Maybe its a blessing in disguise. 7/01/23 What a complete joke, if i could attach pictures i would, so ordered for a second time after dealing with a sulky teenager who was adamant he wanted to try Morleys. Spent £34 via uber eats and got £9 worth of food, the order on the reciept was wrong and didnt even match up to what was in the bag. I even left a note prior asking to double check it was all there before it was sent out, i recommend you dont not order from here online as you cant get through on the phone number provided. Again they dont care about their customers, I recommend Roscoes Ladypool Road anyday of the week.

Ordered a take away and brought home only to find part of my order (2pcs chicken) was missing. Very disappointed. Always check your order before leaving.

I don't know who the manager is here but these two black guys who work here one with pink and other with black headcover were so slow. One guy was on the phone with black headcover. They need to be sacked asap.

Use to go Morley's in London and was looking forward to trying out the Birmingham one especially after looking at the reviews. The customer service was non existent as the server he was busy talking to another customer who had her order but they both seemed to think they would continue to have a conversation. Then I had to wait for the fries to be cooked at this point nobody advised me of this. Once I took the food home we were disappointed the chicken was so salty we couldn't eat it I would not go there again

I ordered my meal and they charged me extra at the till. When I asked questions about why they have charged me extra, the response was that prices on the menu needs updating. They didnt even ask whether I wanted the refund of the difference, all they kept saying is the prices need updating. I was served by a bloke called Roshaine. On the menu the spicy chicken fillet meal is £6.99 and they charged me £8.39. Bloody ridiculous. If I did that at my shop trading standards would have been asking questions.

For a fast food place they sure take an awfully long time. Food was given cold, no sauces were offered and the food was substandard. It tries to be KFC but fails spectacularly. Service was poor and they didn't seem to care about customers that were waiting. No urgency.

The Favours are not consistent and the standard of food, prices are to high and does not compare to morleys in South London, and it does not even taste like morleys in South London and prices are not like morleys in South London 😕
