Stopped in here in spec while staying nearby for a trip on Eurostar. Excellent proper Italian food. Very fresh and well cooked. Definitely a lucky choice.

What a wonderful evening we spent in this restaurant - the food, the atmosphere and the attention from the manager added up to the perfect mix which made the whole experience. All the dishes taste amazing and the portions are very generous. Don’t bother selecting the wine by yourself, just trust the choice of the owner - he knows his stuff. Would recommend this restaurant for any occasion and will certainly be back to sample more things on their delicious menu. Bravo!

Clearly most of the other reviews come for non-Italians that are easily impressed by what only appears to be good, authentic Italian food... As an Italian, I was absolutely not impressed by the quality of the food. Price / quality ratio is off. We paid 200 GBP for 3 people : one appetiser to share ; three mains and no dessert. Wine is obscenely over priced : my fault for not checking before hand... Also, very weird vibe in the restaurant : only 6 people eating but instead of giving us privacy, they stuck us all together. Waiter kept interrupting our conversation. Will not be going again.

Lovely Sicilian restaurant. Food is good and well presented. I had Bucatini with spiced pork belly ragout which was excellent.

Food was brilliant. The only issue was the temperature. I’m sure the heating gets fixed soon.

I booked this restaurant on line for 4 people for 4 January 2024 at 6.30 and received an email from the restaurant confirming our booking on the 14 November 2023. We were in London for a couple of days taking in some sites and a show and were looking forward to a nice evening out. We arrived at the restaurant at 6.30 to find that it was closed and were obviously quite confused. We phoned the telephone number on the web site and were told that the restaurant was closed for the Christmas holidays. A very poor show to take a booking on line, confirm the booking and say in the confirmation email that they are looking forward to seeing you when they are going on holiday. Don't trust your email booking. Luckily enough the taxis driver recommended an Italian Restaurant round the corner and we had a lovely meal and great time.

A hidden gem! Quality Sicilian food at good prices. We went during lunch so there wasn’t much of a crowd. The owner gives good recommendations so if you’re unsure you can rely on him (as we found out). Stuffed squid and the pasta were the highlights for me. Burrata was solid as well. Chicken was on the saltier side.

chanced upon this restaurant randomly in Jul 2023 - i just arrived in london and was hoping i could get some decent dinner before all the restaurants closed. blown away by all we ordered - ingredients were simple yet fresh. the cooking was great as everything worked so well together. dessert was superb too! the managers / owners present were professional and friendly; you can tell they take pride in all they do.

They really care about their food and it tastes good. Proper Italian cooking. Enjoyed the Guinea Fowl. The Sicilian house red wine was lovely too. I will definitely go back when in London

We came in without knowing the place and it was amazing! The food is really out of this world authentic Sicilian food (we got the recommendations and all was pure perfection), the service was great and felt right at home. Besides the delicious food, you can feel the most friendly and familiar atmosphere. While we were having dinner all the clients that came in were greeted by name like family members, and it was clear that they are regulars, which is a testament of the quality of food and attention. We will definitely be coming back!

Luce e Limoni is an authentic Sicilian restaurant, conveniently located for a quick lunch or an after work dinner. The place is welcoming, and nicely decorated. The menu is not too extensive, but has a good variety of options for lunch and dinner. The food is authentic and sometimes offers particular Sicilian dishes difficult to find in other Italian restaurants. The service is always friendly and Professional.

The start of our dinner experience was kind of weird as we only got a small paper with set menu, ... so don't forget to scan the QR code for the full menu and the beverages. Ambience, service, waiting time, value for money, red house wine, bottled beer = ok. The Sicilian food was very tasty: shared burrata & bread followed by excellent al dente pasta dishes : tortelloni with roasted veal&mozarella in a sage/truffle oil sauce, bucatini with pork ragoût ... delicious 😋 Too bad we had no more space for the cannoli we intended to have as dessert ...

Amazing wine tasting experience at this authentic Sicilian restaurant. Great variety of wine and pasta dishes paired perfectly together. Desert was out of this world and the warm ambience was exactly what you’d expect! Especially impressed by the freshness of every single ingredient - it felt like being on holiday!

Good wine with good service however shocked to see no AC! I mean really. I am paying £120 for 2 people for dinner and wine and then literally took a steam bath as it was boiling inside in this heat wave. Get an AC please. Food and service was good but it wasn’t pleasant due to the heat.

The most appalling food we’ve ever eaten. Everything was tasteless, microwaved rubbish. Strange obsession with white/ beige/ unseasoned food such as mashed potato and extremely dry chicken (tasted like nursery food). The prices were astronomical for the quality of the food delivered (supposed £24 set menu was actually around £28 with the ‘supplement’ which was applied to over half the mains on the menu). The service was also disgraceful, with our waiter making offhand comments regarding allergy accommodation and constantly trying to upsell - this totally ruined any atmosphere which was present at all. Seriously - avoid this restaurant at all costs!

This place has a great ambience, and our food was excellent. I ordered the veal tortelloni, and it was Michelin-star delicious. I am still craving it. Our barrata came with an eggplant confit, and the taste combination was spot-on. I am also craving that dish. Our Sicilian wine was really good (and that is hard to find). I couldn't believe how slow it was in this restaurant. It was a Thursday night. But I learned that much of London was away on holiday, so maybe that was part of it. I would highly recommend this place. My husband and I look forward to visiting again on a return visit to London. Yum.

Good food and service, but expensive! My pasta dish was £15 on outside menu, had jumped to £19.50 once seated and told to look at the menu online. ...and finally £22 once automatic 12.5% service charge added!

went to Luce e Limoni last night. Had a superb bottle of Sicilian wine (recommended by staff) and really good food. Friendly and helpful staff. Finished with baked cheesecake and very interesting selection of cheeses plus a very generous slug of grappa... Highly recommend. I walked by the restaurant on my way home for years and am really glad to have finally walked in

Food, wine and service very good in a very well laid out comfortable restaurant. However whilst the smaller limited 3 course menu was on a normal paper menu the a la carte and wine list were only available via one's smartphone. This is far less appealing and as well two of the party had not brought their phones so the whole exercise was painful in the extreme, As a result we all ordered from the limited menu and did not go the the better end of the wine list as we often do. This all seems damaging to the restaurant itself and would put off a goodly number of diners we all thought, too much hassle.

Loved this place. Just great… food was authentic and deliciously savoury. The folks here are even really Italian. Got to practice !

Excellent service, pleasant staff and value for money.

Apart from the bread which was excellent the quality of food was sub average and inconsistent. Not one of our large group was enthused to return. We were all relieved when the meal ended. In our opinion avoid and try elsewhere.

A family run Italian restaurant in the relatively well established part of London. Ingredients are fresh and the authentic decor genuinely gives a traditional Italian feel. Not one that makes me want to visit again unfortunately.

Best service, real friendly staff with attention to detail ! Made me feel like I was back in Italy! Beautiful food and desserts to crave for! The tiramisu was decadent and the cheesecake was absolutely amazing! Will definitely recommend the linguine with seafood and the crabmeat pasta! The squid with ricotta was delicious too!

Perhaps I was expecting too much and added the third star after I have seen other better reviews. I felt food was ok, average quality and taste, but in no way unforgettable, i had rigatoni with tomato, aubergines and ricotta" and fish with potato puree + 1 glass of wine and S Pellegrino sparkling water (2 courses). A few other details, where sometimes lie insights, prompted me to think that there is space to improve: light was too feeble, the menu was xeroxed and so pale that it was barely visible... I paid over 55 pounds and, even though I may not yet be entirely accustomed to London prices, I felt it was definitely more than what would be fair.

Spaghetti was uncooked and cold, steak sauce was sour(disgusting), bad presentation, the dishes were hardly warm when served. Don’t understand why reviews are so high, The worst Italian I have had in London. Don’t not recommend, will never be going again.

This was a really pleasant surprise. From entering the restaurant the atmosphere was very friendly, almost familial. The service was very efficient and we were well looked after the whole evening. The food itself was well cooked, decent portion sizes, and good flavours. Pricing didn't break the bank either with most mains in the £15-20 range

It's a small and very busy place. Very popular and seemed to be with known, returning guests. We had to wait in the entrance for our table which was booked, which was frustrating. The salmon fishcakes and steak were amazing! Would definitely go back and would definitely recommend

Had table for 2 booked at 8pm on a Saturday. was warmly greeted. they had a nice set menu but we ordered from the main menu. food was brilliant and timing was very prompt. Reasonably priced and great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend!

The staff were really friendly. The food was interesting, we had stuffed squid and the salmon fishcake for starters. The squid was a very large starter and the horseradish sauce really worked with the fishcake. We had the veal tortellini and the black linguine for mains. We weren't sure about the veal, it tasted quite sweet but the black linguine was lovely. Their homemade pasta tasted really good. Very light and fresh with loads of seafood in the sauce. Reasonably priced too!

We visited on a Wednesday, the restaurant was quiet. Service was great, front of house were wonderful! Friendly, social and helpful. The Chef accommodated a "congratulations" for a special occasion & The food was good too.

This italian restaurant is one of the best visited in London during our holiday. The food was incredible good and the staff amazing. We were served by the owner, a very kind person and he recommended us the best dishes. Strongly recommended!

Went there for a work event not Christmas per we but at Christmas time). We had the downstairs room to ourselves. Our waitress was great and the service was great and fast. The food was good but a bit on the bland side (mist point out that we had the Christmas menu and it wasn't particularly Italian). I'd like to try it a again and give it a better / fairer review.

Loved this place! We had a private lunch in the private dining room and it was very pretty, food was great (specially the cannoli), service was 1000%. We had a few people joining late/leaving early and the restaurant adjusted to all the needs which we all really appreciated. Thank you!

First time trying sicilia foods so perhaps the cuisine is not my cup of tea but ordered ham with melon, black linguinie with scallop and both of them were just mediocre. Nothing exceptional. Sicilia red wine was quite good though.

I have been here several times, for lunch and dinner, and it never disappoints. Last week, it was for a work dinner for 14 people. The owner proposed a three course menu, with three options for each course, including some unusual dishes. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the service was friendly and efficient. Excellent value for money, including the wine list.

We visited the Luce e Limoni resultant in Gray’s Inn Road during a weekend stay in London. It proved to be an excellent choice. We enjoyed freshly baked bread and and oil, followed by tasty and generous starters of fish cakes and mackerel fillet. For mains we chose a really nice bucatini pasta and a sea bass filet with asparagus. Once again they were generous helpings. The waiters convinced us to try a dessert and we shared a tiramisu.We had a lovely bottle of Sicilian white wine and received excellent service throughout. It is somewhere we will definitely go to again when in the area.

Friendly staff and helpful. Food okay but lemon not very detectable in the 'cheesecake' (which is a sponge cake) sadly (and ironically, given the name). It would also be good to state the cost of offered items where not directly ordered.

Been here a few times now. To summarise - really beautiful pasta - great freshly baked bread - delicious olive oil - very friendly, helpful staff. Really lovely restaurant - recommend to anyone.

Wonderful hidden gem in Gray's Inn Road service and food was as fabulous as usual been a few times will be going again real soon my favourite restaurant in the area by far,lovely for a quiet intimate meal. Thx again for always being 5 ⭐

The staff were super friendly and served us water while we waited for our takeout. Food was *chefs kiss* Beware that the take out menu needs to be accessed via a QR code, as it is not exactly the same as the dine in menu.

We were looking for an Italian restaurant in the Bloomsbury/Holborn area and picked Luce e Limoni because it had the best reviews and the menu looked varied and full of dishes that were immediately going on the shortlist! It had the atmosphere and attentiveness of a local restaurant and the food was delicious and typically Sicilian. An excellent find!
