We booked the kitchen and bar restaurant a couple of weeks in advance notifying them that we would be using our Jumeirah One £100 voucher that we exchanged with our points. We were warmly greeted and sat straight away. Service was very good, though empty inside. We ordered the salt and pepper squid to start which was very nice. Then for mains we had the king prawn linguine which was very nice though lacked any real flavour. Maybe a touch of chilli or something to give it a slight kick. We also had the mixed grill with lamb kofta, chicken skewers and diced lamb. Unfortunately the diced lamb was tough. Surely use lamb neck fillet. Chewy as stewing lamb. Shame. Rest was very nice. Then we came to pay. I said we were paying with a Jumeirah One voucher. My phone was taken to prove the code, we never saw the bill! Then there were a total of four people trying to sort it. Eventually I was told that the voucher couldn’t be found and could I email an address to prove the code. Really. Finally I said I would give it 5 more minutes or walk out. Had enough. Finally I was given the thumbs up that it had been accepted. Still no bill!! And I have now found out that they have deducted not only one voucher but also another £100 voucher without my consent (and I believe the bill was about £90). All in all an embarrassment of an ending. Shame. I await an apology, my second £100 back and maybe some kind of reimbursement too for the problems!!!

Tried to order dinner over the phone so that it was ready for our late business arrival. Kitchen closes at 2145hrs, call was made at 2135. I was out on hold For 5 minutes then told the chef had conveniently gone! Very poor treatment of paying guests.

This restaurant is good and food is nice. We particularly like the salad and bread with Greek sauces. Baby chicken is tasty too. You should also not miss the choloclate desert. We visited there last Wed siting in a quiet corner table. The most impressive is the 5 star services, from the one opening the door to us to the supervisor, Samanta, serving us all the times in a professional manner. She is detailed mind, attentive and has a good sense of what we desire. She always act proactively. Enjoy

Have met clients here as it is so conveniently located and with outside seating. The positives are that the staff are universally lovely and cant do enough for you. From the doorman to the serving staff they are all great but the food & beverage is not up to the standards that this location deserves. A couple of pots of tea are a tenner, which is absolutely fine but not if they are tea bags. I would expect nothing less than loose leaf tea. We have eaten on the terrace and the less said about that the better. Hopefully senior management will read this and take note.

My wife and I had dinner here using a Groupon voucher (£49 for three courses each and a glass of either Prosecco or Aperol Spritz). It was a set menu but still plenty to choose from. Some higher-end dishes attracted a surcharge but this wasn’t excessive. The restaurant itself is pleasant enough. Standard hotel restaurant decor. The staff were extremely welcoming and provided excellent service. The food wasn’t much to write home about though sadly. Lovely hot bread was served with our Prosecco (which was in a beautiful glass it must be said). Starters were the best course. I had salt and pepper squid with a chilli jam which was very good and my wife had cauliflower and keens cheddar soup which was served with a big cheesy croutons which she loved. I opted to pay a surcharge for the rib eye steak for main course which I asked for rare. Now I expect rare to be hot and seared on the outside whilst still bloody in the middle. What I got was a just about lukewarm grey piece of meat which, the fat of which had not been rendered so was still like jelly. Inside the meat was dry and on the blue side of rare. It wasn’t particularly tasty (I don’t think it has been seasoned before cooking) and certainly wasn’t bloody. I regularly cook steak at home and sear and seal it on a hot griddle pan so that it has a nice char but it is still juicy inside. It’s easily done. For pudding I had the lemon tart with clotted cream which was average. My wife had date pudding (essentially sticky toffee pudding) which was dry but sitting on a pool of sickeningly sweet sauce. Again, average. It was an enjoyable experience in general for the money paid but not somewhere I’d return to in a hurry or pay full price for.

Disappointing that this restaurant is not in the main hotel building . Although the restaurant was small and more like a cafe, the service was good so was the food. We have had better and far worse. For the cost of the voucher the food was well worth it.We enjoyed the food and drinks. Two complaints . 1 Not in the main hotel. 2 15% service charge? Would retern but not soon.

Had a coupon which was about to expire so came for lunch. Found the staff friendly and helpful, one of which walked us around the corner form the hotel to the bar/restaurant. We chose our three courses and enjoyed every one of them, Also treated ourselves to an extra glass of Prosecco as it was so nice. It's quite a small dining area and bar but we could choose where we sat as it wasn't too busy. Was rather surprised with the 15% service charge which I thought a tad excessive as it's usually 12 and a half and that's at Michelin * restaurants. Still we enjoyed our meal and the service was good so it was worth it.

This place is so non discript, I went for Sunday lunch with a friend who got a Groupon offer, they were sold on the food images, trust you me they are nothing like it. There as 4 tables and 6 staff and its was like sitting the middle of an episode of Faulty Towers the staff havent got a clue. The food is just average, so a cobb salald starter is the size of a main course and the dressing is mayo!!!, the chili squid comes with store bought dipping sauce. The steak and nice and it came with chips and a sauce, but the lamb was just dry and a watery sauce its was just all bland. We had lemon tart for dessert which was more pastry then filling, but was lovely and sharp. The staff just stand around and one of the waiters looked like he had never worked in a hotel in his life only at the end of our meal did they ask us if we wanted the bottle of water we ordered and assked for 3 times. Just a watch out, if you did use a Groupon voucher, outside to a burger and some baisc food they add surcharges then they add 15% service change of what the orignnal bill would be before the Groupon discount so the meal cost the same..so we did feel a liittle conned, but at the end of the day its just somewhere we wont visit again.

We had dinner here and left without any real emotion. The atmosphere was okay, service okay and the food okay. So nothing outstanding in any way. We had the squid and salmon to start, followed by the steak and sea bass and then finished with the cheesecake and ice cream. I was a bit disappointed that they didn’t have any gluten free desserts aside from ice cream. Overall the experience was average.

Part of Jumeirah hotel with a heated outside terrace. It was dead quiet when we visited on a Friday evening but did fill up as the evening went on, giving the place a reasonable atmosphere. The service was efficient and friendly (they added 15% to the bill at the end). As for the food, the starters were quite basic – e.g. salt & pepper squid – and didn’t really do anything for us. The mains were equally basic and bland, especially the ginger prawns which lacked any real flavour. Deserts however were much better, in particular the chocolate fondant. Not high on our list of places to re-visit.

The restaurant was not too busy, but all staff were very attentive. A special mention to Robert, Levan and apologies can't remember the waitress name, all were lovely. The food was of a high standard, cooked superbly and beautiful to look at and of course tasted lovely. We both had soup, which was full of flavour and piping hot, husband has lamb which he said melted in his mouth, I had fish and chips which was divine. We will definitely return on our next trip to London and can highly recommend. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening, a real treat!! many thanks

Reserved a table for Sunday evening at this restaurant as we'd passed it by several times and seemed appealing. We weren't disappointed at all. From the minute we stepped inside this restaurant and sat down on the comfortable leather sofas whilst waiting for a waiter, which wasn't long, we noticed the ambience was just what we were looking for whilst dining, a quiet comfortable evening. The staff was very attentive and polite. A particular mention goes to "Leon" who looked after us throughout though it must be mentioned the 2 waitresses too, whose names we regretfully could not read on their badges were equally good.We had a fresh fruit mocktail with no added sugar to start with, which was recommended by Leon and was very tasty! For starters we opted for the Iron bark pumpkin & ginger velouté soup with pumpkin seeds....it was a delight on a fairly cold evening with just a hint of a kick in the taste too.We tried the wild mushroom risotto with aged Parmesan and a Luxury fish pie containing good helpings of smoked haddock, tiger prawns, salmon, monkfish with a cheddar mash topping....they were both superb! We opted for Autumn fruits Eaton mess and a Vanilla crême brûlée with almond biscotti and although both again were delicious I have to say that my favourite brûlée desert was cooked to perfection! The dishes were all presented well and time was given between the courses which was appreciated as they were decent portions. There is an outside terrace where you can eat too with heaters overhead. We would definitely go back again!

First off, the climate change has reached London. After a very hot 30 degree day at nearby Hyde Park, this air conditioned place was most welcome. Allow plenty of time here, the service is very correct but deliberate; we had several different servers in the course of about two hours. This is not a large place, so not suitable for large groups and if you bring kids then plan to eat outside (sun in the afternoon) so they can roam a bit. Belgravia is a posh neighborhood, so the atmosphere is upgrade. The place is run by an Arabian hotel, so the majority of the guests fit into this category too - many ladies in burkas. As to food; the menu is quite extensive offering everything from a hamburger to exotic things from Arabian lands. We asked for well-done steaks and were happy to receive them as requested - in many better restaurants the cooks assume that a steak should only have a short acquaintance with the grill. All in all everything was to our satisfaction - even if we had to be patient at times. And it is expensive too, but this is normal in London. For those with small change left over, Harrods's is a ten minute walk from here.

During our stay in February 2016 at the Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel in London, England, UK - please see also review - we had dinner at the Lowndes Bar & Kitchen. The bar itself was near the entrance from the hotel. Otherwise the dining room was setup like a modern restaurant. One of the waiters brought us to our table in the center of the contemporary designed space. We liked the small lamp and the flower on the table, which added a warm feel to our experience. It wasn't very busy, but there were a few other tables occupied with a family and some couples which all looked very happy. Our dinner included a bottle of gently sparkling water, three berry smoothies, two Scottish smoked salmon parcels with avocado, shallots and tomato, chicken biryani and the Lowndes mango chicken salad. As dessert we shared the vanilla crème brulee. With the order came a bread basket and butter. The bread was still warm. The dishes were colorful, fresh and light. Only the chicken biryani was very large and better suitable for two or three persons instead of one.The waiter was delighted we liked the berry smoothie so much he recommended us earlier. Service was attentive and friendly. The meal cost 105 GBP (ca. 132.25 Euro/ca. 148.25 USD).We would return to the Lowndes Bar & Kitchen, since the quality of the food and the service are very good, but would be more careful what to order, since the portion size of the chicken biryani was very generous.Would we recommend this restaurant to a friend? YES!Would we want to enjoy lunch or dinner at this restaurant in our future? YES!

One of the few outside eating terraces in the area, we have been going there for years, even though it's a boring over priced menu which is pub cooking quality and a very limited wine list at hotel prices. This week we were turned away when arriving at the outside tables with a filthy human life endangering little fluffy dog. This year apparently they no longer require custom from people who have dogs, so turned away five people from an empty restaurant.

The Lowndes Bar and Kitchen is within walking distance of many excellent restaurants, so the competition is tough and I suspect both the hotel guests and diners in the area may be inclined to avoid a hotel restaurant. In this case, that would be a mistake. While I stayed at the hotel on a business trip, I had a couple meals in LBK and they were very, very good, with excellent service. While the menu is international, there are a few Indian options, one of which I tried--Chicken tikka masala--which was delicious. Perhaps not classic, but very nice (the naan, however, was a bit dry). I would recommend the Indian options. Their ice cream is also excellent. Very creamy and dense, as it should be, with rich flavors (I had the vanilla, strawberry and chocolate), and served at the right temperature. Restaurant ice creams often disappoint me because they lack one or all of the attributes that LBK delivered. So, if you're staying at the Lowndes, your restaurant is very worthy. If you're visiting the area, you might especially enjoy a meal on one of their outdoor terrace tables. At a minimum, you can watch the Lamborghinis and Aston Martins buzz by!

The Mains ( Sea Bass- beautifully presented, Mushroom Risotto- flavourful and filling and Chicken Breast-also full of flavourful and well presented ). Desserts were also nicely done, Creme Brulee with a crisp sugar crust and a milk flan with lovely raspberry sorbet which looked too good to eat. It's located in a cozy little corner of London, close enough to all the frenzy yet far enough so you don't get run over by the crazy pedestrian shoppers and the mad traffic. It's just off of Sloan Street and Knightsbridge, close to King's Road and Belgrave Square. Ok, none of this matters if the food wasn't good. But it is. In my case, I happen to have stayed in the hotel above it for 2 weeks (this time around - many times in the past). The food is excellent. From breakfast (I can still smell the freshness of the croissants and taste the diversity of the cheese platter, to the absolutely delicious espresso. Or the fruit juices. Or the selection of "everything". Same with lunch and obviously with dinner. All I can say is ENJOY.LOVEGerald

Looks boring - think beige hotel breakfast joint (which it also is) - but sensational chicken tikka massala. The best I have had in London since 1994. Lentil soup excellent. Burgers good. Prices are a slight shock given the milieu (bored travellers checking phones) but actually worth it. Mixed service, except Angelo, who is at the top of his game: anticipates what you need and sorts it, with a fantastic attitude.

the setting needs a major facelift (zero character or personality), but the servers are very friendly and the food was quite good. they have a nice outdoor seating area, but as with almost every other place in Europe, it's dominated by smokers so is basically off limits to non-smokers. hence, we were stuck inside in a drab, characterless setting. very good apps and entrees (salads, fish and pasta) will bring us back.

Really great service at this restaurant attached to the jumeirah lowndes hotel makes up for the rather dull decor. Not much atmosphere BUT the breakfast is amazing and good value and they serve really good food all day and throughout the evening The staff always serve with a smile. Great coffee makes up for a very nice experience, there is sesting outside on the street which gives great people watching.

Back side terrace, no traffic, bbq on weekends, its a little oasis in the middle of London! We tried the nicoise salad, salmon, incredible asparagus. Good for drinks too. I found it pricey but I presume you pay the location. Definitely yes for summer days.

We had a very nice dinner. The food was very good; there was a decent selection of wines by the glass was offered (at reasonable prices) and the bar made a very nice Cosmopolitan martini. We did not eat outside, since it's the smoking area and EVERYONE on the Terrace was smoking as if there would be no tomorrow. The service was personable, polite and efficient. It was a lovely evening and we will return.

Though convenient, breakfast seemed too crowded within limited space.Their juices tasted very fresh.Particularly due to its location. It seemed a very suitable place for afternoon tea--coffee appointments as the outside terrace overlooks the square corner and is covered in case of inclement weather.

As with a typical hotel bar / restaurant it lacks the atmosphere but the food was tremendous and the service faultless.

Great food options especially when staying at the hotel. Ate here at least 3 times during our stay and each time the food/service was excellent.

Booked to meet 4 others there on a very wet and miserable Friday night - and what a treat it was. Very pleasant surroundings and friendly staff. We ate from the Bookatable winter menu and had three courses with a glass of Prosecco for £19. This was excellent value with good choice of dishes and very generous portions. There's also a happy hour from 5-7pm with 2 for 1 on some drinks. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit and will be back.

I always like an offer and this was an Amazon Local deal my friend had booked. Delicious seafood broth, followed by a steak with pepper sauce and finished with a fresh fruit platter with sorbet + a glass of Prosecco. Very relaxing surroundings and pleasant staff.

Book through 'book a table' for the special food festival offer. Three course lunch with prosecco (calamari, lemon sole and sticky toffee pudding) for £20pp. Amazing food, lovely calm and relaxed atmosphere and gorgeous food. Would highly recommend.

This hotel restaurant is just right - not too big, not too small and with a great menu. They will customize what you want - I like oatmeal in water no cream - no problem. You want dinner at 10pm - no problem and no grumpy staff either! Ahh what a sanctuary!

We booked the restaurant through Table Pouncer, so did not have to pay full price. However I would have happily paid the going rate. The range of food on the menu was extensive, the food well prepared and the service fabulous. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about wine and even suggested a website to use for future reference. This is a restaurant I will revisit the next time I'm in the capital.

Excellent staff who remember you! Their service is discreet and attentive. Food consistent with the hotels reputation . Ambiance can be a little lacking as with most hotels but if you want reliable food and service take advantage of the deal.

It is such a shame, as the Lowndes Bar and Kitchen delivered us a really well cooked but safe/unadventurous dinner and with super service from a waiter called Ash. But I cannot think of a more tired and knackered restaurant. It has zero atmosphere and looks unloved and unwanted. It is such a lonely and depressing room that sadly I will not be back.

I understand why Lowndes bar and Kitchen has an OpenTable deal - it's the only way you can entice someone to eat in this drab, lonely unloved and depressing hotel restaurant. Our waiter, Ash, tried so hard to look after us in style and the food was absolutely fine but uninspiring. This place needs a massive make-over.

The terrace as previous years is a perfect outside dining/drinking area. They have updated and enlarged the menu, mostly the same as last year but with a few added items in all sections. A small and reasonably priced wine list, actually very reasonable considering it is a Belgravia hotel! Over all a lovely outside lunch, my rather big portion of beef brisket was soft and flavoursome with a nice but scarce sauce, a request for more was quickly dealt with. I can recommend this venue.

We had a very nice lunch here. The 15% service charge looked steep at first but they halved that as part of the 50% off offer. A lot of restaurants charge the full amount. Service was very good, food was very good just not very adventureous. They specialise in Chicken Tikka Masala , steaks and other English dishes. The two dishes we had were £25 each on the menu but the whole bill came to £60 for starters and main courses, plus wine and coffee with the 50% off offer. I love puddings but this was the first time in a nice restaurant that I could not possibly have managed one. The portions are excellent and plenty for anyone. The ambience is quiet and probably not best for children, very pleasant and good value experience though.

First time visit to this eaterie and with 50% off seemed to make this good value for Knightsbridge. My client and I both had scallops to start then pasta and sea bass. Well presented and full of flavour. This was all topped by good service by our chatty waiter. Even though it was quiet for lunch, it is a good spot. Will definitely come back and experience al fresco at the rear terrace which is very highly rated.

It may not have helped that i dined at 9pm and that there were only 7 other diners in the restaurant, but it had the feel of a non descript hotel eatery, which was surprising for such a top end chain. The food was very good though - pasta dish main followed by sticky toffee pudding, both were very tasty and at the 50% off deal, represented really good value.

Went for pre-Cadogan Hall dinner, accommodating staff anxious to help, pleasantly lively citrus warm chicken salad, surprisingly chunky shepherds pie homely if lacking a bit of umami, delicious lightly bruleed mascarpone cheese cake, very comfortable environment if eating solo.

Perfect place to meet a friend for lunch, we were well received and were lucky enough to be able to sit outside (in March!). It was quiet and the service was good. The piece of liver I had was not particularly good quality, but was well cooked. Overall it was a good experience.

I ordered chicken breast from the main menu. The meat was very tough. I told the waiter about this. He replied that this dish is in demand). Then I said that your cook doesn’t know how to cook it. I don't recommend this establishment.

One of the oldest Tavern in the World, dates back to 1121 apparently, located in the heart of the City. Really cosy wooden pub with ambient lighting and cheminee. Food was ok, had some small plates, 5 for 35pounds.

Beautiful cocktails but a complete boys club. Staff exclusively addressed my husband and not me. They expected him to order for us both, asked him how the drinks were, thanked him as he left. I may as well not have been in the room. I appreciate that the vibe is old fashioned but this isn't the 1800s and it's pretty astonishing to not be addressed or even glanced at once.
