Our usual cafe closed down so we were on the look out for somewhere new. This is a lovely little cafe, The food is delicious (especially the cheese on toast 🤤) and reasonably priced. This will definitely be our new go to on our visits to Mold! I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. Thank you!x

We dropped in for coffee and cake one lunchtime. Friendly service, good coffee and the only reason I didn't stretch to 5 stars was that they need to up their game on the jam - great scone, loads of clotted cream but not the really fruity jam I was hoping for. None the less I'll return next time I'm passing that way.

1st class service and excellent coffee in this refreshing little cafe near the church. Limited menu compared to others but everything is freshly made and the cakes are delicious. Toilet facilities are spotlessly clean.

We visited on Bank Holiday Monday for Afternoon Tea and it was wonderful, lovely home made cakes, with a bit of a twist on the sandwiches as we had a beautiful warm garlic ciabatta with tomatoes and herbs, simply delicious. The decor is lovely too.

My Mum and I were looking for somewhere for a quick bite to eat, but finding somewhere decent and stress free due to COVID-19 was not easy. Thanks to a friend, she recommended we try here. We were pleasantly surprised! The service was fantastic. Our waitress was polite, informative and very happy (service with a smile!). The décor was cute and the layout was organised well and safely. We ordered beans on toast and a pot of tea for 2. Both tasted great and the tea was brilliant! Having the 50% off for the new Eat Out to Help Out scheme was just a bonus as the menu was already reasonably priced. We will definitely be visiting again. Thank you!

Plenty of room and pleasant ambience/ decor. Food was lovely(lunch). Tea served in china cups, really nice. One small complaint, coffee was served in a tin mug which was very hot(burnt lips!!). I asked to change to a cup, no problem!! Will definitely be using this gem of a café again.

A lovely find on Mold High Street. Very welcoming and friendly staff, offering a great selection of cakes made on the premises and some delicious food. The surrounding along with other small twists give the cafe a certain amount of quirkiness adding to a lovely atmosphere. But I won't spoil it for you. Give it a go, I'm now a regular.

I've visited this wonderful coffee shop many times with friends, my children and on my own for a treat whilst I'm writing. I cannot rate it highly enough ... Lovely relaxing atmosphere, exemplary service and delicious quality food so couldn't ask for more. I love a cortado and despite not being in the menu they were more than happy to make one for me... And it didn't disappoint - without question the best I've had (first of many). This us not the cheapest place but it is worth it for the quality coffee and tasty homemade meals and cakes. Great addition to the town. I'll be back!!

I couldn’t rate this place highly enough. Staff were lovely and the cake was amazing. My favourite part was the atmosphere. Friendly chit chat and a nice place for me and my 2 year old to have a coffee and cake. Thanks so much! X

Lovely staff, warm welcome and fantastic food. We had the Welsh Rarebit and chicken and pesto sandwich and both were delicious. The portions were generous so we were pretty full after finishing but we had heard about the Lovelies Delights cakes and so had to buy a slice! I would definitely recommend saving room for a sweet treat there (or taking some home for later) as the cakes are superb!! We will definitely be visiting again soon. Diolch yn fawr.

Myself and a friend needed a catch up and she recommended here for our girly gossip and OMG I’m so bloody glad she did! What lovely staff, firstly, with big smiles and very bubbly and then the menu!! O we had such a hard decision choosing what we wanted BUT we got there in the end. I had the half a panini with chicken on it and salad and my friend had the soup and as you do we treat a bit of each other’s and so full of flavour a real delight! And then after, o we knew what we where having as we had seen the scones on the way in and by god we made the right decision!!! Totally out of this world and o yes I’m so going back!!! Thanks ladies in the famous words of Arne “ I’ll be back!” x

Went there today for coffee and cake. Everything was fabulous, the decor, the staff, the atmosphere but unfortunately the prices for a slice of cake were just way too high. I could have forgiven them if the slice of cake was fairly large but it was just a normal size slice. The white chocolate and raspberry cake was indeed delicious but at over four pounds per slice, it was way too expensive and for this reason I will not return, which is a shame because the place has potential. The staff were lovely and I would not like to cause offence with my review...I would prefer to call it constructive criticism.

Beautifully designed interior showing cakes off to excellent effect, this new cafe in Mold is already attracting what, in my opinion, is much deserved business. The food and cakes are lovely and we will certainly return.

I've had a scone from here before which was really tasty, then today my mum brought me a take away cake (valentines present ha!) I can't tell you how great this cake was. It was a chocolate cake with raspberry buttercream and also tasted like prosecco. I MEAN how genius! It was so good I've just spent five minutes trying to find this place on trip adviser just to let you all know!! definitely recommend

My husband and I visited here at the weekend and were delighted with this tearoom. It’s interior has a lovely mix of modern and traditional decor. I had a warm cheese scone with homemade tomato relish and it simply melted in my mouth- a meal in itself, and a delicious one at that. The coffees were well made and we enjoyed the quirky mix of non matching cups and saucers. We will definitely be back again.

I visited Lovelies Delights with my daughter for a light lunch and cake. I had home made leek and potato soup which was very tasty. The cakes (also home made)were delicious, so light and the buttercream was the smoothest I have ever tasted. In fact they were so good we took some home with us! The young staff were friendly and efficient. They had only been open a few days and the full menu was not yet available but we will be going back for afternoon tea when it is available.

I went to this tearoom with my family last weekend and it was delightful. The staff couldn’t do enough for us, bringing crayons and pictures for our little Granddaughter to use. The cupcakes were so light that they melted in your mouth and the icing was delicious, it was out of the ordinary! I also had a cappuccino, which was very special. In fact, I had to congratulate the girl who made it because it was so good. I will certainly be going back again to try out a cream tea. Everything here is homemade and it tastes like it’s fresh out of the oven. It melts in the mouth. As tearooms go this is a breath of fresh air.

I visited this cafe last week and found the service to be warm and friendly. The owner told us that all of the food was locally sourced and made by her, which I was very impressed by. My mother had a coffee, which she said was the best she had ever had! The cupcakes were delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed the soup. We will definitely be going back for more lovely delights.

Absolutely delighted with the service and food we received for bridal shower afternoon tea. The venue was just perfect- pretty and tastefully designed - and the owner was happy for us to decorate with bunting and balloons. The afternoon tea was a real showstopper, one of the best I’ve had in a long time, with a perfect mix of sweet and savoury treats, including a lovely teacup of soup, savoury tart and scone and delicious sandwiches on rustic bread. The sweet scones came with jars of fresh clotted cream and jam, and the chocolate mousse was fantastically indulgent. Everything was just perfect.. the music, the setting, the service. We were made to feel so welcome and nothing was too much. A beautiful, relaxing afternoon at Lovelies Delights!

Was looking forward to trying this new venture. The cakes on display looked delicious but at £4.50 for a slice of white chocolate and raspberry sponge, it was far too expensive. The tray bakes and cupcakes were cheaper but nothing I couldn't buy elsewhere. Fancied a latte but the only non-dairy option was oat milk (an extra 25p) so had a loose leaf peppermint tea instead which was lovely. OH had a hot chocolate which was nice. However, the price for the cheese scone with butter and chutney was a disgrace at £4.20. We'd paid before we realised the price as it wasn't displayed on the board. I checked the menu as I thought it must be a mistake. Service was polite but no warmth. We weren't asked if everything was ok - it was a quiet Friday lunchtime. Neither were we made aware of that days offer of 20% off a drink and cake, which we overheard the owner telling another customer later. We like to support local businesses but at these prices and average service we won't be back.

Had a lovely day at the museum and decided to end the day with a coffee at ‘The Hatch.’ Had many delicious lunches here in the past. The cafe was surprisingly empty. We ordered two coffees and sat out in the garden. Every table was dirty. I cleaned one myself with wet wipes before the coffee arrived. We waited for 15 minutes. How long does it take to make two coffees? We went inside to find out what was going on. The waitresses had completely forgotten about our order! They were obviously too busy chatting to their friends to take orders or clean tables. No wonder we were the only customers. We told them so and walk out in disgust.

Visited Billy Jeans with 13 other friends for my husbands birthday breakfast. Food was excellent, quick service and plenty on the plate. The staff were amazing and even put a birthday candle in his sausage and everyone joined in to sing "happy birthday".
