Love Jerk Ltd in Nottingham

This is my second time ordering from this takeaway and this time I was very disappointed The chicken dumpling hardly had any chicken in it which tasted more of curry than anything else the very small portion of ackee and salt fish left me disappointed and the rice and peas was just bearable No point in pre-ordering your meal as it will come later anyway

Right I've been to this place about 5 times now and I have the same thing each time. This time I got the box with rice and peas, steamed veg and mutton with a side of ox tail. The meat is very nice and the ox tail melts in your mouth and is very tasty. However the rice portion MASSIVELY outweighs the rice portion. You basically get a box ¾'s full of rice with a bit if steamed veg and a bit of mutton but mainly bones. Think I had 5 or 6 bits of meat in mine and about 10 large chunks on bone. No were near enough sauce or meat to be able to eat the rice and enjoy it like I have done other times. Will give it one more try but if isn't better I'll be going elsewhere. So many other carribean food places in that area to chose from

This place is awful they never send what you have ordered & when you ring to get something sorted you end up talking to a kid who nows nothing about how to run a business the food is cold ill never order from here again..stay away

The food here is ok, I've been several times and found it to be hit and miss, they load up the Jerk box's with rice to make them appear fuller but are very tight with the veg and the sauce. Upon the times I have visited the chicken has not been under cooked on several occasions and I have had to throw away the meal more than once. The girls are friendly but the service here is EXTREEMLY slow, I have been queuing up for over 20 minutes outside (in winter) without being served more than once. The food is over priced and you can't order over the phone to collect or be delivered. they do provide a Perspex glass between you and the person serving you bu the are not wearing masks and no other COVID rules are followed here, the delivery driver brushes past you in and out without a mask as well.

I will neaver eat there again staff are rude food was disgusting wait over hour orxer was wrong orxer was for friends birthday when i rang to complian the pertendcwas ans machine each time diffrent voice shocking behaviour cost 45 pounds was half missing
