Love at First Bite in Worthing

Had their chicken bacon and water cress filling in a soft roll, what an amazing flavour profile. I’ve never seen that combo before and it was amazing. Staff were super friendly, it gave me a great start to the day. Highly highly recommend.

Generally great but the last few times the bread has been stale

Came here for a change as the usual place we go to was shut. Served really quickly and the ladies were really nice and friendly. Sandwiches were really tasty and with a good amount of filling to them :)

A quick drop in on a Friday afternoon and got my money’s worth of good service.

Grabbed a salami salad sandwich. Was inexpensive and tasty. While it was kinda busy and there was a que, it only took a few minutes to get my order

Not good today Saturday got my usual bLT bacon was so raw, as its streaky bacon the fat was sludged together had to bin it. Never had a issue all the times iv been getting. At least x3 times a week. Not sure y it wasn't noticed. Shame. Usually lovely crispy bacon.

Great lil shop went yesterday around£5-£6 for two pretty big blt baguettes ,which were great will definitely visit more on my days off

Love at first bite is amazing for not only the food for the extremely lovely and helpful staff, I ordered 2 sandwiches and 2 hot drinks and struggled to carry them on my own, the lady helped me pop one of them in my pocket and helped me with my drinks! The food is also incredible, 1000% recommend to anybody

Unfortunately since the new owners have taken the sandwich’s have a lot to be desired with less fillings and the doorstep sandwiches are like normal thickness to sliced bread sad to see such a great sandwich shop becoming like the rest

Good food, cheap but packed with fillings, so great value for money.

Great fillings, great selection, and great prices. Often a few minutes wait to get served as the place is usually busy with workmen and locals. Parking available for free outside. Will definitely be grabbing lunch here again.

Amazing little sandwich bar, I’ve been a patron of this place for over 10 years now and never been disappointed. Lovely fresh, delicious food, reasonably priced. Couple of things to note for newcomers: they are cash-only, and it is a small shop and they do get very busy, so allow yourself time. Top notch Bacon sandwiches, with tons of bacon, to begin your day. Daily specials such as Chicken Tikka; Lemon & Parsley Chicken; Chicken, Smoked Bacon & Watercress have always been a must-have. Don’t walk past this shop without stopping for a sandwich. Lovely fresh bread, rolls and my favourite granary door-stops and the equally fresh fillings. Absolutely huge fillings that I need a knife and fork for the coronation chicken (no unnecessary saltanas) and not to be eaten in public without a lot of mopping up. Excellent food.

Ever heard of washing hands and gloves?

By far the worst place I've ever had a roll. Miserable ppl serving and I'm sure that they put a slice of hated in my roll

This place has really gone downhill. I hadn't eaten in 24 hours and was famished. Ordered a sausage and egg mayo baggette, couldn't eat it for all the bits of bone in what were clearly very cheap disgusting sausages. Also, my food was made by a woman wearing no gloves and black fingernails...

Classic sandwich shop with great prices .

Standard food and prices are reasonable however they do NOT wash hands between taking cash and do not wear gloves. In 2020 I am not sure how food establishments are allowed to make food with such poor hygiene. Avoid.

Love at First Bite, is by far my "go to" sandwich shop. Their food is great and I have never been disappointed by what I have ordered. There is a great selection of fillings and additions. The shop unfortunately is small and sometimes you have to wait outside in the queue, however I see this as more of a testament to how good they are. Keep smashing it LFB

Superb budget conscious place, a cup of filter coffee for 40p or tea for 30p, love it. Very wide range of sandwiches and rolls with super friendly staff. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Used this place while at colleague almost everyday - great sandwiches and good prices.

Used to go here 15 years ago when it was up an alley and the best sandwich place is town - still great sandwiches today and really good prices too!
