My new favourite bar in Worthing! I discovered this beauty of a bar on my recent visit to Worthing. I was a bit dubious to start with as I was unsure what I would find inside the big heavy doors and curtain draped windows but boy was I not disappointed!! I visited on a quiet Monday evening and I was the only one in the bar for most of my visit but that didn't bother me as I had some of the best cocktails I have ever tried served by the amazing Scott whose customer service and cocktail knowledge were second to none. Scott took great care of me making me all the best drinks on the menu with plenty of suggestions and riffs on the classics. As cocktails are a big passion of mine we spent lots of time chatting about different drinks and our experience in the hospitality sector which made my visit all the more enjoyable and memorable. Thank you very much Scott! I look forward to my next visit. I highly recommend this bar to any one who likes good quality drinks served by professional and friendly people in a beautifully designed and atmospheric bar. Anyone visiting Worthing or any locals who haven't yet tried out should definitely call in and give it a try.

Superb range of cocktails and they will make you something off the menu if you want. We Sat in the back and the atmosphere was just right, music not too loud so you can chat easily with friends. Love that we have a choice of 3 good cocktail bars in Worthing now

Don't be fooled by the outside of this Cocktail bar. It's a hidden gem. Great selection of cocktails and they will even create one from ingredients you like. I fancied a sambucca cocktail and Max created a fantastic drink which included other flavours that I love. It's so nice to discover a place where the bar staff are 100% there to deliver the best service. The non alcoholic cocktails are great too. Great music with a relaxed atmosphere.I recommend this bar.

What an amazing cocktail bar 😍Heartbreaker is honestly one of the best cocktail bars I’ve experienced. As well as having a menu with an amazing selection of cocktails made beautifully, the staff are one of most welcoming, attentive and professional that I’ve experienced - they will create you the best bespoke cocktail you’ll ever drink, nothing is too much trouble. If you are ever planning an evening out in Worthing, this is a must visit place. 10/10

Came here last Saturday with a girlfriend , staff were lovely and cocktails were really good , we had a really beautiful evening in there.....tastefully decorated to a really lovely glamorous feel about it ...just right for sunny worthing

Stepping into Heartbreaker is like stepping into a warm hug. The decor, the atmosphere and the welcome all envelope you within the soft glow and sumptuous seating of your surroundings. The staff are amazing and no matter what your tastes, have glorious cocktails to suit. Myself and my friends had a fantastic evening, were extremely well looked after, even enjoying bespoke cocktails made especially for us. The popcorn caramel shots are to die for! You must visit this place!

A gorgeous cocktail lounge designed by the same team who created the new bar and restaurant at the National Portrait Gallery in London, the interior of Heartbreaker is as good as anything you might find in NYC, Tokyo or Paris. Bartenders and staff provide excellent customer service with wit and warmth and the cocktails are nothing short of elite. A must visit if you are in Worthing!

A Delightful Cocktail Bar 🍹 Excellent Service Would Recommend A Visit To Everyone In Worthing.

Popped in here for our 'one for the road' and ended up staying for 3 or 4 delicious cocktails. Beautifully designed bar; friendly polite barman - George - in our case and really delicious cocktails. Was lovely to be able to sit up at the bar and just chat. Will be back - hopefully on a more lively night!

Came in at 10ish had 1 drink , popped outside to see a sibling then not aloud back in as bouncers said to unsteady !!! Was actually in this place a few weeks before, drunk and being served. Absouloutley ridiculous as went on else where in town. Good service,stupid door policy. Would recomend elsewhere in town b4 this place

We walked past this place about six months ago and it was a ghost town. When we strolled past on this occasion we could see it was really lively, with a few people waiting to get in and a couple of door staff chatting to them. We were pleasantly surprised when we got to the door that both door staff were very polite, asked many in our party (4), then radioed through to staff inside to find us a table for 4. We were then greeted by a really friendly barman that offered us a table at the front where it was a little busier, but we opted for a table at the back upstairs which was still lively but easier to talk. We basically worked our way through the cocktails and chasers on the menu! There are pages and pages of classic cocktails (Mojito, Cosmopolitan, Pina Colada etc.) as well as the bar's own specials, each named after a song or phrase (Bohemian Raspberry [pictured] with an amazing Freddie Mercury chocolate topping!), but one of the highlights for all of us was the butterscotch chasers that went down perfectly (no burning or shuddering at the end with this one!). To top it all off all of the staff were really friendly and welcoming, and the music was great too. We'll definitely be back soon.

Nice decorations, drinks were good & staff very friendly. would be a 4 or 5 stars but for the awful seat. Having booked a week in advance it was a shame to have 4 of us on a small table up close to the bar & passage through to rear room, so constantly had staff & punters squeezing past, making the experience uncomfortable. left swiftly after 1 round of drinks. Will gladly book again but only if we know where we're (not) sitting.

My husband and I came here yesterday for his birthday, we did cocktail making and had such a great time. Rubbish service waited ages for drinks. Waitress didn't even remember taking our drinks order after 10 minutes . Very overpriced hardly any alcohol in the drinks . Absolutely rubbish . Do better.

I would highly recommend the Cocktail Master Class. We did this as part of our Hen Party and everyone really enjoyed themselves. The staff were amazing, fun and friendly. 5stars for amazing cocktails 🍸

My husband and I (43-48yrs) were sat by the toilets at the back. The barman said we could sit at the bar to enjoy the atmosphere and feel included... unfortunately the waitress said we weren't 4 people as there were 4 stools at the bar and we had to sit at the back upstairs on the secluded table for 2 by the fire escape and toilets. Disgusted by the whole experience. We left feeling we were not able to feel included as we were only 2. Our first night out without the kids in a long time. Very disappointed. Were obviously too old for Heartbreaker !!

We booked our team Christmas Party at the Rockinghorse in Worthing and had a great time. Harry took us through a Cocktail Masterclass which was fabulous. Everyone really enjoyed the night and we were very well looked after. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!

I went to the Rocking Horse last night and was shocked that, unprovoked, the owner was physically and verbally abusive to me whilst I was queuing for a table. He pushed me and told me to "f@@k off" and generally was highly aggressive. Clearly my wife and I won't go again. And I strongly recommend others go to the plentiful more friendly places elsewhere in Worthing.

Awesome, best cocktail bar in Worthing. Equine themed decor, and crazy tasty drinks served in imaginative ways. Maybe a little bit pricey but worth it for the experience. Returned in November 2022 and it's still great. Friendly and welcoming staff and the best drinks ever, served by people who really understand what they are doing. They are some new pretender cocktail bars in Worthing, but the Rocking Horse stills rocks it!

Outstanding cocktails!! A truly welcoming bar by all the staff, in the heart of Worthing. A must for cocktail lovers, and lovers of Rum especially, much like myself. 10/10. I am coming back to this bar for sure. 👍🏻

This isn't just a bar making cocktails, This is a bar that specialises in every part of the cocktail making procedure. The attention to detail is amazing, and the passion of the owner and the staff is second to none. If you haven't had a cocktail in here, then it really is time that you did. It's just a shame that my photo skills don't match their cocktail skills 🤣

My other half and I strayed in on sat on a rare night out..what an amazing find! The lovely man who owns the bar was incredibly knowledgeable about cocktails and we enjoyed 2 each which I must say was quite enough as they were super strong. The best expresso martini I've ever had ..recommended !

A hidden jewel of a cocktail bar in the centre of Worthing. Well I say hidden I just didn't realise it was a cocktail bar as the decor is that of an exciting flea market. Honestly fabulous cocktail work. Quite a unique experience. Felt like a touch of Crazy Brighton madness. Will definitely be back.

Really not sure about this place. It’s not my cup of tea to be honest but was dragged along by friends. The decor is very different from your usual cocktail bar. The staff were very friendly and cocktails were price ranged from £6.50-£9.50. Cocktails were decent but we’re not amazing. There were a lot of cocktails I’ve never seen before. If your looking something different from the main stream cocktail bars it’s well worth checking out.
