Ordered a tea and a flat white which and was charged to use the disgusting port a loos totalled £6 ... coffee was espresso size!! Lids were dusty and dirty. How can this be justified!!

A great little pitstop on the A9 with GREAT coffee. The cakes were a welcome addition too! A busy wee stop at the start of the hermitage walk which will undoubtably be busy over the summer when the ice cream starts.

Ordered two coffees and a sandwich(£10.50), which was supposed to be cheese, spinach & caramelised onion but was caramelised onion & processed cheese slices! Server had long hair which was not tied back; handled all of the foodstuff with her bare(unwashed)hands, which had very long varnished nails ... I dread to think what germs were lurking there! Obviously does not have the required health and hygiene certificate. Grossly overpriced. Would not recommend this cafe.

A beautiful pleaant cup of tea served by a very pleasant young man. Refreshing after a walk from Birnam over to The Hermitage. Decent prices in a peaceful place

The genuine friendly service at this wee cafe was fantastic. The sausage rolls used real meat and crispy pastry - excellent. Cammy Jackson

What a brilliant place to stop at the Hermitage near Dunkeld...2nd time there for a very very smooth coffee..delicious! The home made soup with slices of healthy rustic bread set me on my way for a lovely walk up the river. The ladies serving were really friendly and chatty....a great wee business that's going to do well 👍 See you in next couple of weeks with my coffee loyalty card 😉 Adam

A little cabin at The Hermitage Dunkeld. We all had hot sausage rolls yesterday. Going back again today for more. They are the best sausage rolls ever ! Great coffee, cakes, sandwiches. A great place for snacks and drinks with smiling service.

Popped in here for lunch with our dog. Decent amount of choice on the lunch menu. The steak pie was steak with a pastry top, rather than the pie we expected. The omelette was tasty and the portions were large. The staff were friendly and the service was quick.

High Tea review. This is a charming hotel just off the high street and beside the banks of the Tay. High Tea is served in the conservative overlooking the river. Good menu choices, prices reasonable, toast and tea/coffee on arrival. Then food followed by small scones and huge meringues with more hot drinks available. Food- steak pie chosen on a recommendation, unfortunately our steak pie was on the tuff side. Certainly not melt in the mouth. Fish and chips was ok, personally it was too salty for me (as someone that doesn't put salt on their food). Food was hot, and service was ok. Cakes, would rather have had a slightly bigger scone instead of a whole and a half scone. Considering the meringues were massive the amount of cream was miniscule. I do know that cream has increased rapidly in price over the last year. I would happily pay a bit more on the price of the high tea for more cream. Finally, the dinner menu looked nice. Will go back for dinner one night.
