What a lovely, charming wee coffee shop! The soup was delicious, the cake was lovely and service was brilliant. I'll definitely be back!

We popped in here for lunch whilst stopping off in East Kilbride. The food was really nice and the staff friendly. There is a good choice and the atmosphere cosy. Would recommend.

Great little cafe in the heart of East Kilbride Village. Food is fantastic as always. Friendly and cheerful staff and it doesn't break the bank. Great value for money.

Spontaneously went in there to have something to eat in the morning, and we were not disappointed. Ordered cheese and paninis food was tasty, and the atmosphere was relaxed. One thing that they don't do mushrooms or hash browns with the breakfast, but it's a good place nevertheless.

No heating again, very cold nice people food dried out over done breakfast

Nice cafe for lunch or a coffee. Great cakes. Visited again today. Eggs Benedict followed by a strawberry puff cake to die for. Must visit more often. EGGS BENEDICT again with a twist. Black pudding and a tattie scone. Delicious. Followed by hot apple pie and custard. Stuffed.

Awweful my daughters tea cup was dirty so she wouldn't even drink it.The breakfast was disgusting the potato scone was soggy the haggis wasn't cooked in the middle it was like mush.The breakfast was ten pounds including tea,coffee or juice which we weren't even offered but still paid the full price.The service was terrible unless you were a regular not once did anyone come to check if everything was alright or to ask if we would like our tea or coffee.The sauce,salt and sugar were rationed on a small tray wich was brought to the table two red sauces,two brown sauces,one brown sugar and one white sugar between 3 breakfasts and a pot of tea when asked for more sugar and sauce it was practically thrown on the tray a pile of extra to add, as if done in sarcasm worst service and breakfast so far at a cost of £35 bearing in mind we never received the tea or coffee that is Supposed to come with the breakfast.?I do not recommend this place at all very disappointing as I was looking forward to a Sunday breakfast made for me for a change.

Hmm don't like to be that guy to down vote how ever I couldn't comprehend that a full breakfast is £10 and to add a extra item is £1 and the small breakfast is £0.70 per item. I ordered 1 slice of toast with beans and coffee out of £10 I got £3.10 back so £6.90 for a slice of toast and beans (Microwaved 🤦)

ALL home made cakes. They are to die for. The meals are all very nice as well.

Lovely food. I had the breakfast wrap and it was delicious. Service was fab the lady was very helpful and polite. Hot chocolate was lovely and just the right temperature. Most places serve it lukewarm.

Wow we loved our lunch at this place. The service was polite and friendly, and the selection of food on offer was great. We will be heading back here soon!

Poor sevice, food spilt on me by waitress, offered a napkin to clean .my trousers, staff unattentive to customers, long delay in getting food.

Was there today, poor service, lack of attention by staff to customers, had to ask for soup plates etc to be removed from table, when lunch arrived I had cheese from the baked potato dropped all over my trousers!!! Not a pleasant day tbh.

What a great wee find. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was busy but they made everyone feel welcome, nothing was rushed or too much bother. The food was all made to order and the home baking was amazing!

Such an adorable little cafe with a lovely atmosphere! Came here for some brunch and some great options but I have to say the vegetarian breakfast really hit the spot! Great price as well especially considering you get a choice of juice or coffee included. It was very busy when we came in and the staff looked pretty rushed, but handled it well and made sure we were checked on. Took a brownie to go as my partner had to be home for an exam which was lovely and great to share. Will definitely return and recommend.

Lovely wee cafe with good comfort food. We had kids pancakes, French toast and the full all day breakfast. Very child friendly and lovely staff. Cakes looked amazing though we were too full. Excellent coffee.

Ordered afternoon tea for my sister's birthday. Great choice of sandwiches, scones and cakes. Well presented and great portions. Thoroughly enjoyed the food and highly recommend.

Quaint little tea room, food and cakes all very nice, and reasonably priced too. If you like black pudding, I recommend the Hebridean Eggs 🤌🏻

Fantastic wee cafe in East Kilbride village. Prices are very reasonable and the food is all tasty and homemade. You can sit in or take away and there are all sorts of cakes to take away and enjoy at home. This is my second visit in two weeks and I have found the staff friendly and helpful. Lastly, but arguably most importantly, the toilet is clean and fresh smelling! Highly recommend a visit for a tasty meal that won’t break the bank.

My fiancée and I have been to this little café a few times for a small early Sunday breakfast and every time the staff are friendly and the food hits the spot! It's one of the only places open before 9am in East Kilbride on a Sunday so recommend stopping for a bite!

Enjoyed my breakfast,however was a bit disappointing that beans and also toast were charged as an extra,in my experience they are usually always included in the item choices,and not charged extra.

I had a lovely breakfast of pancakes with bacon and maple syrup and a coffee. Service was very pleasant and the food was cooked promptly.

Visited for the first time last week and have absolutely no complaint whatsoever. The food was lovely. Couldn't fault the service and the staff were very friendly. The place was lovely and cosy. The tea was lovely too. We bought some scones to take away and they were very tasty. The price was fine too. Will definitely be back.

Popped in here whist we waited on our car being valeted. We ordered 2 regular lattes ( which took FOREVER to be made ) and a small ( tiny ) pineapple cake. The lattes were fine, and the cake ok. The price on the other hand was obscene. £9!! For 2 lattes, and a cake? Daylight robbery. How anyone can afford to eat in this place is beyond me... We won’t be back.

Regularly visit here with my mum who is 87 years old. The staff are lovely and food is delicious. Had a lovely beefburger with fresh side salad and some crisps. Never had a bad experience. Would highly recommend

2 rolls 2 diet cokes £9.20 dont think so food not great cheap sausage on the rolls, staff nice surroundings need to be improved limes was better inside wont be back

The Loupin Stane is part of Village life. A very warm,welcoming place to spend some time blethering over a coffee or enjoying some real home cooking and baking.Small but cosy.

Ideal local friendly place good breakfasts no nonsense haggis black pudding toast beans tatties scone bacon square sausage from butchers next door I only go here for breakfast if I'm in neighbourhood it out surparse the restraunt competition i defo recomend and a nice hot chock with cream and marshmallow wide selections of cakes and a take away service try for your self best breakfast in eastkilbride without a shadow of a doubt.

Went here after seeing the positive trip advisor reviews and we weren't disappointed. Went as a group of 6 age ranges 3 to 81 and there was something for everyone. They were very friendly and welcoming as soon as we walked in and put 2 tables together for us. We all had variations of the breakfast which was delicious and well cooked - Lorne sausage, bacon, egg, beans, potato scone, haggis, black pudding and toast. Was absolutely delicious, meant to take a photo but we all started tucking in straight away. Tea served in pots. Really friendly staff. Everyone else's food looked appetising too and the cakes on display looked amazing though we were all far too full to try them. Will definitely be visiting again the next time I'm in EK

I visit this place most weekends. It’s genuinely the best breakfast in East Kilbride. It’s very busy but 9 times out of 10 we get a table. The staff are fantastic, it’s a traditional cafe, which is nice and rare it seems these days. The cakes are also amazing! Highly recommend

Took our granddaughter for breakfast and really enjoyed ourselves. Friendly efficient service and good quality reasonably priced breakfast. Only 20 or so seats and got very busy.
