Really nice bar, good live music and a good place to watch the footy, only downside is prices have been scribbled out on the menus, so no real pricing anywhere!

food expensive for what it is but still good if your hungry. service spot on drinks were great and plenty taste to them

Mel, Jess and Ben were lovely! Jess seemed to be new to bar work and did a wonderful job getting our drinks! The othered helped patiently and the overall vibe was extremely nice and kind! My girlfriend is from Tennessee and so obviously had a great time feeling a little closer to home! A wonderful experience through and through :)

JESS, BEN, and MEL were all incredible when i visited. my partner has a stick, and they helped direct us to a table that would accommodate us, and all three of them helped with my bourbon selection, they were all absolutely lovely to interact with, i will absolutely come back here because of them x

Couldnt fulfill a food order that we waited over an hour and a half for. Lied about what they had said only to negotiate a partial refund and some fresh fries. Blamed it on their new kitchen staff...Good teamwork. Drinks awful, barmaid couldn't be bothered to charge a table individually and factually lied about the beer tower being better value than buying a pint individually, because she could t be bothered to go back and forwards to the bar even though they presented this as an option. Told the group about a bingo game being £1 to enter which we were happy to play only to be told after we completed a line that there was no surprise....nice!! Totally spoilt our night out, wouldnt bother coming back here.

Can't really say allot we went in after the theatre for a drink but seen the drinks prices then decided to go Fitzgerald across the road 1/2the price for drinks but it looked nice

Had a great time and found the staff very accommodating. Food was served quickly and was very nice.

Love this place that much when 2 days in a row ! Staff so friendly and made a joke about smashing the magic of the whisky up high! Visit this place if you love fried chicken, good beers, amazing range of whisky! Can't wait till my next visit!

Terrible service. Basically got ignored by staff. 4 people behind the bar chatting amongst themselves. Rude and surly staff. Not welcoming I'm any way. Shame really as its a nice looking bar.

A shambolic experience from start to finish if I'm honest. Food and drink expensive (also, Saturday afternoon and only one member of staff behind the bar?!) and doesn't help when your food comes out, they walk up and down the restaurant with it, come back 10 minutes later with it when it's cold and then huff at you when you say you want one that's actually hot. Certainly won't be rushing back.

Been once for a talk in as venue changed. Not my cuppa tea but can imagine it being popular with a younger crew. Drinks tad expensive. Seen a few ppl with food and it looked really nice

Tried to have a drink got asked Id and showed my Portuguese ID that I have used for 4 years in the UK which I’ve never had a problem with ever.

Chicken was juicy, selection of dips. Thumbs up.

Barman got us kicked out for no reason

Can't recommend Louie's liquor store enough, the chicken tenders and the sauces are absolutely out of this world (especially the buffalo sauce!) Laura and Reece are brilliant servers as well always making sure their customers are looked after. Fantastic Rum and whiskey selection too!

My wife and I dropped into Louie's Liquor bar after a day of shopping in town for a few drinks. It's large inside with plenty of seating, although it does get very busy so maybe not suitable for everyone. The drinks were pretty standard and nothing to celebrate, but prices were very expensive. Not sure we would return as there are other bars in the area with similar facilities but far more affordable prices as well as special offers. Staff were fantatsic, service was fast, friendly and efficient. Always positive.

Had pretty terrible customer service from an egotistical shift manager and wont be back but the bar staff were doing a good job.

Terrible. Asked for Buffalo wings, told I had to accept BBQ wings or I had to leave after I’d already paid and waited an hour. Someone I was eating with was charged £15 and given no food. Horrific, cheap, scummy manager, dreadful experience, would not recommend.

American themed bar with sports screens, beers and cocktails. Went on a Sat evening and there was a live band playing modern blues and Country music. They sell a fun range of American cocktails and the bartenders know how to whip up cocktails based on your flavour preferences. Great selection of bourbons.

Good sized bar in the heart of the famous Newcastle Bigg Market, quirky and quite a cool vibe to it. Went to see an amazing band “ The Revolutionaires “ on a Saturday night but the overall night was bad. The band were fantastic ( although the bass from the club downstairs spoils live music in the main bar). Stella lager went off apparently ( after we had sent a few back for being totally flat) the Corona lager was equally as bad and even tried using Stella glasses to see if it would help the gas ( definitely the worst pint of lager in Newcastle). We asked for Gin & tonic but at 8pm on a Saturday night they have no tonic? We asked for Sauvignon blanc but didn’t have that either ? No Newcastle brown ale?The safest option was bottled lager at £4.50 a bottle. The toilets are pretty messy and toilet seat falling off. The bar staff overall were friendly ( nice Irish lady) but need better stock to work with. We left as soon as the band were finished as did others who were complaining about the beer. Shame as it could be a decent bar. We walked over the road to a packed bar with live music on and every drink available including a fantastic pint of moretti with a great frothy head on it.

Asked to leave at 6.30pm due to my partner having denim shorts on?! It was still very quiet and we were half way through a football game we had come in to watch. The way it was said was very rude and I will never return! Disgusting service

My mojito looked like it was made well but tasted weird. I think it was either lacking in limes or had too much soda... Or both Our chicken tenders didn't come with a dip. There appeared to only be one person for the bar. Which meant slow service when a few people rocked up at the same time. Dunno where the 3/4 appeared from to give everyone their food at the same time? Or where they disappeared to after? 👀 Food was ruddy tasty! 🤤 Espresso Martini was pretty good. Ambience/atmosphere was canny too. Place was a bit empty though. There was live music. Kind of Rockabilly style. Suited the place. Would return 👍

Good better, good décor, service could be faster (couldn't it always) I expect the bar is a bit small for busy times? Otherwise a cool place with a food looking food menu
