Our local Chinese takeaway but not our normal goto but thought we would try them after a few years following a sub par experience that had put us off.... and was delighted to find that the owners had improved on their standards and as such we have now started using it as our goto takeaway. Friendly staff and tasty menu with a fair price... yum... Update this is definitely our goto local Chinese takeaway thank you for another great meal

Very disappointed, I regularly order from here but after today never again , the food was not edible everything taste like chemicals, when on telling the restaurant they told me there is nothing they can do so not only am I now out of pocket I'm left with food that isnt edible and a hungry family

Lotus house used to be my favourite. I’ve just wasted £35 on food and sauce that is like flavoured water! What has happened! Sauces used to be thick and full of flavour, not anymore ! It’s just water and vegetables… no taste at all

Chicken balls were pink and satay sauce was really watery also chicken tasted dry and rubbery.

Ordered at 18:10 was supposed to be delivered between 19:10-19:30 which was bad enough! It arrived 20:20 two hours and ten minutes after my order. It’s supposed to be fast food. Thankfully the food was good

The ‘Crispy Duck’ was a soggy breadcrumb coated fatty mess. 4 edible pieces of duck. The satay veg was a bland flavourless mess. The seaweed was good and the minuscule satay skewers were ok.

Another yummy meal which was more than enough for two.

The squid was a tiny portion for coating over £7. The food was warm at best. The prawn toast was over cooked. It was actually quite poor and would certainly make us think twice about ordering again. Real shame

Our food was ok but not really to our satisfaction. The chicken balls were lovely and the duck, however the chicken chow mein was not nice at all. It had hardly any chicken in it, not enough noodles and no taste and was dry.

Asked to swap sweet and sour sauce for satay sauce and got told I needed to pay £1.00 to do that! Food arrived after waiting over an hour, but expected on a Saturday night. Curry was bland, curry sauce tasted like the bottom of the pan had burnt. Rest of the food was fine.

Very disappointed, Usually very good. Chicken with ginger and spring onion was like water with mostly sliced onion. Crispy beeff was so thin it was mostly glaze.

The food from the Lotus House is always fabulous. Fresh crisp vegetables, and always straight out of the wok heat. I wanted my meal asap, so was delighted when it arrived early, which was great for a Saturday night. Overall: It is always a treat to have a meal from the Lotus House. Thank You :)

The app said it would take an hour to be delivered, which I appreciate on a Saturday night but 2 hours? No. Food was average at best. I won’t be using this place again.

Food took an hour and a half to arrive, 10 minutes later than the longest estimated time given. Food was very good, but a black piece of plastic was found in the soup.

Food was very nice. The only issue was that I had to phone the restaurant to enquire if there was a delay with the order because it didn’t arrive within the estimated time. They told me it was on the way and arrived 10-15 minutes later.

The food was 10 minutes early, it tasted great, the crispy chilli beef was actually crispy! The cow mien was great and so was everything, although the squid was quite chewy.

Delicious, no greasiness and arrived on-time! Will definitely order again.

Yummy again- Always tasty and plenty there- one thing- would love non plastic containers - maybe waxed cardboard boxes like they have in the states- too much plastic for 2022- but the food is excellent and delivery was very prompt.

Even though I live around the corner they always leave it until last minute to deliver; something I had just ignored for awhile. Until recently I ordered duck in plum sauce which I had mistakenly ordered instead of crispy duck and plum sauce and asked to swap but restaurant was rigid in its order and refused to swap the order. I understand it was my fault for selecting the wrong item but when I called they had said the right item was under appetisers which it clearly was not as the item had arrived wrong! Also as a regular customer the rude customer service was the last thing I would expect. Won’t be going back even though I’ve ordered her for years!

Normally very quick but late tonight but still tasty! The only downside, the Thai red chicken curry had only 2 bits of chicken in!!! So was like a veg curry really!

Food was late they said it was delivered and we was not here....the driver then turned up 10 minutes later.....he was friendly and apologetic not his thought......food was hot plenty of it and very tasty...we enjoyed it all and will order again...busy time of year..😛
