Chris, Brook and Chrissy were nothing but helpful. They were friendly and no request regarding checking for food allergies were a trouble - They made me feel very welcome!

Visited with my Scottish family, lovely and friendly colleagues, they enjoyed the food. Really dog friendly too.

Visited again today with my lovely niece. I had my first vegan sausage roll, nicely warmed up on this chilly day and a hot chocolate (with cream and marshmallows) and both were yummy. Niece had coffee and a delicious cheese scone with butter. She rated the scone as best she's had in Sussex. Quite an accolade as she's in a mission to rate cheese scone wherever she can and she's rather well travelled. Staff were lovely as well and apart from the myriad new houses - the views are lovely and we enjoyed see the variety of dogs being walked. Including a very handsome Great Dane.

I love Pappachinos cafe in the park, it’s great to go for a stroll round with my friends and their dogs or on my own, then for coffee or lunch, it’s always friendly and someone to talk to. They seem to be upgrading it and the outside area is lovely to sit out in the sunshine. Also now they are offering a craft group once a month on a Wednesday evening from Peacehaven crafts for wellbeing with a different craft each month, it will be a lovely place to go to meet new people. Will definitely visit more often

This place is the epitome of hit and miss. Roughly every 2 out of 3 visits, the staff are lovely, the food is okay, it's clean, and the hot chocolate *was* out of this world. *the hot chocolate is a bit watery lately. I keep coming back because when it's good, it's really good. Best place to stop for a coffee in Peacehaven good. And the park is absolutely stunning to look out at / sit outside in. However, it does seem to be dependent on who is in. Some of them make amazing hot drinks - others do not. Some staff are friendly and accomodating - others are not. It's like playing Russian roulette whenever I order a drink. I need to work out who makes the good ones! A little bit of training and some quality checks would make this place perfect. I don't even mind that it's a little pricey - it would be totally worth it if it was consistent. I was going to go for 3 stars but I've added an extra to balance the sheer audacity of the person who complained about dogs in a dog-friendly establishment. You can literally go anywhere you want, you pick a dog friendly place, and then moan about dogs! That's like complaining there are children in the park.

Lovely cafe, great for after a long walk with the dogs. Lovely staff and very friendly. The other diners are all nice too. Families and friends all chatting and enjoying the food. Amazingly I didnt see one person on their phone.

I visited with 21 University students and Abi and her team were fantastic- serving up great value and tasty food and coffee promptly. Great location overlooking the park and Downs. Handy for Peacehaven FC. Outside seating and toilets.

Felt very uncomfortable as some of the staff at the cafe were constantly giving you dirty looks so makes me wonder anyone that's dark skinned is this what they do

A quiet rainy day but very attentive staff. Hamburger was a little dry. Average fair. Had a very productive and enthusiastic chat with the Manager in planning an Xmas function.

The place was empty, however it was dirty. Dirty tables and food all over the floor. Staff chatting out the back, no cleaning going on. Had to takeaway as no clean tables to sit at despite being the only people there.

There weren't many vegan options available. The sofa is a nice touch, could use more of them.

Went in here for a nice breakfast sandwich whilst waiting for my car to be repaired. Honestly, it is an absolute hidden gem in the area. Beautiful scenery and very, very dog friendly!!

Disappointing service. Ordered and paid, went to find seating. An hour later still no food so went in to chase, only to be told they don’t have the food that was ordered - shame they didn’t say that when ordered, or attempt to come and tell us while waiting. Wasn’t until they were chased an hour later that they say. Miserable staff and very disappointing. Won’t be returning

Place was full of dogs. One woman allowing her small dog walking on the table. Been there three times every time my order was wrong and sausage under cooked and beans were cold 😡

Genuinely, honestly, with my whole heart I cannot state how nasty the food, service and prices are at this dive. Absolutely shocking. Terrible quality - we are talking the pits, served at Brighton prices by miserable 16 year olds. Please save yourself a trip.

A busy local cafe, ideally situated for the local park run and football club, the young staff are very polite and it is good to see local businesses offering children a chance.

Coffee cups got smaller- prices got higher! And the coffee comes out push button machine! Only one loyalty stamp per visit not per coffee and wait ages Not sure what’s happened as it used to be great

Lovely cafe, right by the entrance to Big Park, off Peacehaven A259, very light and spacious, with a very relaxed and chilled seating area, food was well cooked and delicious, it's quite near for me, it might become a regular winter haunt. I've not got a dog, but it's very dog friendly.

Great place to drop in with your kids, friends anytime! Very good atmosphere, child and pets friendly. Beautiful views to Sussex Downs.

Nice little Cafe, only went in for a coffee while waiting for my car. Didn't realise the Cafe was there . Dog friendly, not that we have one,but handy to know. Polite and friendly staff, certainly go back there. Didn't look at menu, so no help with that.

This place is so variable. Sometimes you get good food and a good price, other times it not so good. Staff seems to change all the time, so I wonder if that is the problem.

I've visited a few times following the Peacehaven Parkrun, which is probably the busiest hour of the week for the café. There are plenty of staff but they are sometimes overwhelmed, but at other times it's fine. Plenty of choice for light food and drink.

The slop looked like someone was friends with Keir Stamner. I won't be returning to read my daily express. There was a chap who had a tattoo of a dogs fanny. I was not amused as I like British dogs.

Today ne and my wife came In for a drink and cake. I asked the lady how much the cake costs and she replied ' "I dont know" She then walked off and went into another room leaving me on my own???? What sort of customer service is this your business will lose loads with this type of behaviour. Upon telling the other staff they found it AMUSING that she had spoken to me this way... I have never in my life experienced customer service like this.. the cake was good in the end I'll give you credit there but if she has had this attitude all day your company is losing money here.

Went here for the first time today with my girlfriend. They had great covid precautions and lovely food. We are new to the area and will definitely become regulars here. Also met a lovely labradoodle called Stanley who everyone seemed to know!

Shuts way to early and expensive

Met our daughter and her carers here and impressed by the whole area. Lots of space around the park and even on a freezing January afternoon was busy with families and a real good feeling to the place. We went into the cafe for hot drinks and snacks and a good experience. Food choices look good on the menu. We live in Uckfield and would love to have a park with a cafe like this!

I’ve been to this place a few times now and always had a great experience. Drinks are hot food is good and always with a smile. Lots of parking and ideal for dog walking, bike riding or just relaxing. Theres a bike wash station too and toilets. Worth dropping by if you’re in the area.

I absolutely loved this cafe/restaurant/bar and wish I'd discovered it sooner. Well worth the 20 minute drive from Brighton and lovely dog walks all around. The cafe becomes a dog lovers paradise by morning - with the loveliest group of regulars who welcome all with open arms - and a winer and diners delight by night with a full alcohol license and proper home cooked food. I can't wait to return and to watch this place reach its full potential of being packed from opening (which it was) until an even later closing time where their delicious looking menu can be sampled by the masses. They two staff I met were incredibly friendly and warm. I feel like I've found a home away from home! If I could give more stars I truly would. Definitely a place to visit if you need a decent cuppa on a challenging day!!! Thank you all and see you soon

Great service and very friendly

An absolute joke. I arrived at 12.20 to order food and drinks for myself and two sons. Was told that food was on hold for 10 minutes due to an event the staff were catering for. Not a problem, I was told I could order in 10 minutes time. The next customer after me wanted to order food, only they were told (by the same member of staff) that they could order food right now! I would now have to join the back of the queue of about 6 people to order food which I wouldn’t have time to do so. Thoroughly disappointed by service and how we were treated. I have been coming to this cafe for years, always buying coffee and snacks Saturday and Sunday after Parkrun. I will happily support local, but I am thoroughly upset and disappointed at how we were treated this lunchtime.

The food and coffee was tasty. There was a bit of a wait but it was the lunch rush so to be expected. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It's great that they're dog friendly and have water bowls outside for the dogs. Overall a really nice local business and a nice lunch experience.

Good if your going for an ice cream. I would avoid the tuna as it’s cheap and disgusting I would not feed to my cat and very overpriced place. The sausage roll is dry and old. I feel really ripped off no offer of a refund so I had to buy a plain cheese sandwich which was £4.25 the staff are rude. You need to re mortgage your house to eat here with your family and the food is vile.

Very good service, food was excellent. The workers were ever so kind to sit with me while i was eating and gave me head under the table. I guess you could say i gave her a tip hahahah. Could've used more spit and both hands which is what ultimately brings this down to a 3 star but otherwise, cracking!

This is the second time we have used the takeaway service, such an amazing service during the pandemic. The Katy’s burger was absolutely incredible and you must try the nachos. The team are really helpful and friendly. Can’t wait for our next delivery!

£2.90 for a large (apparently) takeaway flat white coffee, out of a machine no less! Press of a button and hey presto, £2.70 profit thankyou very much. Won’t be going back.

Went to cafe as had not been for a while.my friend and I had the hot dogs and were told if we had onions that would be a pound extra in all my many years of eating hot dogs this was the first time we have ever been charged that we will not be going again I think it's under new ownership never again

We had heard great things about this Cafe. Last weekend we decided to pay a visit. I would question the hygiene rating 5? One young woman serving food wearing a hooded jacket, no apron. The other Staff weren’t much better although I think one did wear an Apron. One of them went into the toilet and left the door wedged open! The general attitude of the young women serving was questionable, not particularly friendly, or welcoming. We ordered Panini for each of us they certainly weren’t they were more like white bread rolls. Which were banged down on the table in front of us with ‘there’s your cutlery’ one napkin between two of us! Maybe we picked a bad day to go. Most certainly over rated. Nonchalant staff, cafe very over rated. Sorry!

We hired this venue for a childrens party with 20 children and 30 Adults fitting in with lots of space for movement. The scenery is beautiful, the facilities were clean and the staff were lovely. A special thank you to Nicola who accommodated my every request. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this place to my friends and family.

Having visited the Big Park with the grand kids for the first time it was handy to have a cafe close by.We only had mugs of tea, which were great value at £1.30 each. However we thought the cakes at £3 plus a slice were rather expensive.I thought the inside was too warm and uncomfortable so we sat outside. It was windy, which I understand it often is but more pleasant than indoors.
