Amazing atmosphere and great food with staff that are always welcoming and friendly easy too park and food is always fresh 100% somewhere worth trying no disappointment here

We visited for the first time on Sunday 11th August and I was more than impressed with their food and service. A pleasant woman with brown hair and glasses greeted us and kindly took us to our table we later ordered food by another lovely younger member of staff before ordering cake and coffee with a younger blonde girl who was extremely chatty and confident! Everything was delicious and staff go above and beyond for you. I will be coming back again, especially for their lotus cake 😋

We visited Lotties Cafe this afternoon and had "lunch". We both had Cheese and Oinion Quiche and salad with a side portion of skin on fries. Excellent, cery fresh and tasty. The staff were very friendly and sevice was very quick. We will be going back. I would definitely recommend a visit.

My wife and I have been going to Lotties at least once a week and very often twice a week for many years. Why? Because it is an excellent place to visit. It is in a lovely location, to sit outside on a sunny afternoon overlooking the hills is a delight. Inside, the Cafe has a charm of it's own and add to that, very nice food and great service. The ladies work tirelessly to make sure the customers are happy. I notice there are some negative reviews on here and would say to them 'Tell the management you are not happy' and give them a chance to resolve any problem you may have had. Don't go away and write a negative review. To those of you that read these reviews' ignore the (few) negative ones and follow the positive ones, You will not be disappointed.

We have been to Lotties several times. The food is always really good. We did feel uncomfortable today though, as a member of staff was circling around the room and removing items from tables as though we had overstayed our welcome. We eat lunch out regularly and have never experienced this before. We didn’t feel like we had spent too long with our lunch and ordered more coffees but felt compelled to make an early exit.

Walked in after booking by phone , was impolitely asked if we had a booking from passing waiting staff , Wasn't impressed with the tone ,training need right there on how to speak to customers. Food was good as usual . Missed opportunity with drinks as was thirsty and downed the juice drink before food arrived, again another training need and opportunity to increase revenue.

Have been here a few times recently. The staff are friendly and the menu varied but every time we go the cakes are dry. They are definitely more expensive side too so we would expect fresh cakes.

Awful breakfast and staff not interested We ordered Eggs Benedict and got a “srag end” bit of old bread with two cold eggs and ham. The waitress could see it was poor and did nothing it! Expensive, poor quality and no interest in an awful experience

Every time I pass by Belmont I make a point to stop at Lottie's. What a gem this place is! I've been a handful of times now and have always been greeted with excellent service and a delicious meal. The portion sizes are also more than generous, a great value for your money! Weather permitting, I recommend sitting outside for maximum ambience😎.

The staff at Lottie’s are seemily dedicated to delivering consistently terrible service. We live in Belmont so have eaten there or gotten food to take away quite a bit over the past few years, and every single time the staff demonstrate utter incompetence and rudeness. Every time we’ve ordered food something has been wrong - whole meals missed off the order, ridiculous waiting times, the only upside is they often miss meals off the bill too. The staff are always unhelpful, sarcastic and make you feel in the wrong for their mistakes. You always feel like a nuisance being there or asking for anything, and they never apologise or attempt to give any freebies for the inconvenience. Each time we’ve sat in the manager seems to be very dealing with a complaint (in other words, arguing) from another table and it appears they make no attempt to make any changes to their service. It’s a huge shame because the food is really good and it’s super convenient for us, so we only go in there if we have the mental capacity to deal with the staff that day.

Came for a birthday brunch with my mum, sister, husband and small daughter . We were welcomed in a lovely way and the service was great . We had breakfasts - vegetarian and other which were tasty. Lovely experience thank you .

My wife and regularly eat out and Lottie's is one of top 10 lunch venues. I suppose it's best described as a cafe but a lot of the food is up the standard of a good restaurant. Today I had Chicken Quasidilla and my wife had the Vegan Curry (see photos). Both were excellent. I couldn't resist a Brownie with my coffee to finish things off! Incredibly friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. Thank you.

Told to leave our table whilst we were still drinking our teas. There’s a way of being polite and asking for the table back. The woman serving us was not pleasant and her manner was unacceptable. We left our drinks. This isn’t the first time we felt upset, it’s happened many times and feel we wanted to share our experience.

We visit for lunch yesterday . It was very busy on arrival but we had a table reserved so no problem with a table . The staff were all friendly , smiling and helpful . We chose different choices and the size of the dishes were enormous . I picked the gyros and really not something I’d usually pick . I didn’t enjoy it but could be more choice , the wraps looked delicious hunters chicken and tandoori chicken . One point the coffee could be hotter , I soon drank it

It was my wife's birthday so we, as a family, took her out for a birthday breakfast. Looked and looked for something other than "pile 'em high breakfast", saw this on trip advisor and decided to give it a try. Glad we did it was a lovely atmosphere, the service was professionally, the food was tasty and you could tell the ingredients were of an excellent quality. Cost more than the "pile 'em high" but boy was it worth it. Will visit again.

This is just one of my favourite places to eat forever. Really first class food, unfussy, well presented and very reasonably priced, great service too. Great location if you are also after a brisk walk.

We had a fantastic afternoon here in Lotties private room upstairs. We held my sister's baby shower here and had afternoon tea. The room was perfect for our needs. We had dinner from here recently. The food was really good. We had a sausage & egg barm and the triple stack barm (which was bacon, sausage & egg), really tasty and good prices too. Visited Lotties with husband & daughter,and so glad we did! What a little gem & not too far from our house. We both had the full English and it was delicious. It was my first visit to Lotties after hearing so many good reviews about the place! And I have to say I was so disappointed. Upon arrival I had my mask on, no one greeted us we stood there being careful to social distance waiting patiently for someone to direct us to the table we had booked. Finally we were sat and given menus within a minute of sitting down we were asked to order barely even looking at the menu so we asked for a few more moments much to the dismay of the lady. After ordering we waited for the food which I have to say arrived very quickly. However mine was half the size of my friends even though it was the same dish, avocado on toast, but I thought seen as I have added salmon on mine I did have a bit more to it! As we were sat enjoying our food I notice around us as people wandering around the cafe not wearing their masks! No one had done the track and trace no one had asked us to do a track and trace. Given we’re in a pandemic that is not acceptable! No staff were asking people to put there mask on no staff were making people fill out or scan the track and trace! After clearing our plates we ordered a brownie to takeaway and were chatting away enjoying a little catch up thanks to our bubble with Covid! But we were then rudely abruptly told to leave by the older red short haired lady! No please just a quick ladies we need the table! How utterly rude. She was rude to us throughout our time there! Overall I am utterly disappointed with the place given I have heard such good reviews about the place!

Had our second meal at Lotties today, booked this morning and they managed to fit us in at 12.30 although they were already busy. We had already chosen from the online menu so the service was swift an within 10 minutes we were enjoying our choices. I had a flat white and chicken blt, wifey ordered a pot of tea with a chicken pesto flat bread. Great food, great value and great service.

We stopover here quite regularly and have never been disappointed with the foood and service.During this this covid19 pandemic ,the staff have been very good at sanitizing everything down and keeping customers apart.We have always felt safe in here and will continue to call no problem.Cant fault any of the staff and are always good for a chat(as long as its not to busy,which it usually is).Read a post about someone saying that the staff dont clean down and spray with sanitiser and reuse menus ,we have never seen anyone doing this.Portions are ample for us and we like our food.As ive said we will continue to call and eat at Lotties as long as it is open.

I visited for breakfast with my friend. The place itself is lovely, and beautiful scenery to complement the cafe. The service was very quick and the food was lovely. However, me and my friend were half way through a conversation, when a member of staff, slammed our bill down on the table, and said we needed to go by 12:30pm. I was shocked at her lack of customer service and her attitude, I wouldn’t mind but there was about 5 free tables, so I was confused as to why we were made to feel rushed and uncomfortable. Myself and my friend went to settle the bill, and the same woman who was rude to us, was extremely rude to the young girls working on the till area. I was half way through a conversation with one of the girls, and the other woman decided to shout over me, and asked the girl to take someone’s order, whilst she was in the middle of sorting out the bill. I suggest she goes on a customer service course, as she has no customer service skills at all. It’s a shame that she is front of house, as I can imagine she has been rude to numerous customers in the past, which might have changed people’s perception on Lottie’s.

Decided to try breakfast here on a Saturday . We booked just in case with the limited space and new restrictions. On arrival was greeted by friendly staff and seated. We both ordered the Full English breakfast . Good portion size , could choose which eggs you preferred and could taste the great quality of the products. Will 100% return and recommend .

Been twice, once for their delicious breakfast and once for late lunch eat i side second time, food was excellent on the higher side for price but worth the quality. I side can get noisy and a little uncomfortable if like me you suffer from tinnitus but outside is lovely when the weather permits. Definate regular place to visit better to book as walk ins can get turned away when busy unless you are prepared to wait 10 mins for a table like we did. Overall good quality food, quick and thoughtful service from a busy place

I visited yesterday morning (Friday 7th August) was greeted in a friendly manner. The service was efficient and my coffee was nice. I also had ‘American Pancakes’ with bacon bits and maple syrup which was tasty and satisfying. Will definitely return.

Lovely setting, clean and friendly staff. However extremely noisy from food prep area which ruined the atmosphere. Staff did not wear masks. Would not recommend the flatbreads either.

We visited Lottie’s today for lunch, it was my 1st visit and I found it very clean with plenty of hand sanitizers available.. we didn’t feel cramped and had a lovely time. The food was lovely.. and the coffee was lovely.. plenty to chose from and reasonably priced.. will definitely return.

Every time we come here the breakfast is absolutely beautiful. We have missed Lotties so much over the Lockdown so are really glad it is back. My son always enjoys his breakfast and there is always an excellent selection of yummy cakes. We always have one to take away as we are full after breakfast. Well done to all the lovely staff at Lotties. Super friendly and super helpful. Can't wait to return.

I've been past Lottie's countless times and never managed to pop in but finally managed to drop in post lockdown apocalypse. The staff squeezed me in with a booking and without faff. (Non of this go and stand outside and phone us or use an app to make a booking while stood at the front door)The place is pretty spacious and tables are well separated for those bothered about social distancing. There is no shortage of staff all wearing gloves.I was hoping for the full breakfast advertised on the website but it wasn't on the menu I was given. Decided on a soup and a sandwich and a brew. Arrived in a timely fashion, soup was delicious and the sandwich was made with quality meat. The bread barm cake was a bit poor, small and floury and cakey. I couldn't decide if it was poor cheap commercial bakery or poor home made. Portions are a bit on the small side, but probably suits the clientele who appear to be mainly ladies of a certain age who lunch.I've been, probably won't go miles out of my way to go back, but if I'm passing and hungry in I'll drop in.

If you want a great place to come for a delicious coffee and cake in a lovely setting you can’t go far wrong with Lotties. In a quiet section of Belmont you can sit outside and enjoy the peace overlooking the hills or dine inside in comfortable clean surroundings. The owner is a busy bee always on the go and the staff cannot do enough for you. Lotties is spotless and covid secure in every way.

Had a really great visit to Lottie's today with Harwood Cycle Club. Contacted the restaurant before hand to arrange our visit and was made to feel very welcome. On arrival we sat outside on the terrace as accomodating a group of sweaty cyclists isn't ideal inside which is always busy (testament to its popularity) Ordering was easy and the staff were helpful, friendly and welcoming. The food and coffee was superb as always. Great quality, great portions and superb taste. A real favourite spot to visit. A little advice, If you are planning a group visit, call or message first to arrange. Enjoy your visit.

The setting is beautiful, the cafe is stunning, the menu has plenty of choice, my main issue is the service, but mainly one member of staff.My friend and I have met up numerous occasions for coffee and catch up, each time on arrival we have been pounced on by the same member of staff, who barks questions at us, we can't choose where we would like to sit, we are bluntly told where to sit, a drinks order is demanded from us immediately, and god forbid we can't decide what we are eating when she comes back for the food order, and should you not have something on the menu available and we ask for it, a simply blunt and rude "no" comes back at us.We meet up for a usually long overdue catch up, and whilst I appreciate the cafe gets busy, surely as a paying customer we can stay as long as we want as long as we continue to order top ups, which we do, but literally as soon as the cup is almost empty in she swoops to clear and bark "Bill, ladies?" No offer of " can I get you anything else ladies" or even "how was everything"..I understand efficient service is a good thing, and the other staff, who tend to bring the food and drinks to us, are lovely, but I'm sorry to say the server who appears to be of authority offers efficient service, but is extremely blunt, bordering on rude and unpleasant.Whilst the surroundings as I say are lovely, there are many other cafes that can offer service with a smile

I paid for my mum and dad to go for afternoon tea as a treat for their anniversary, which I told the staff. My mum said the staff were really lovely, very helpful and friendly and couldn't do enough for them. They both said the food was lovely and plenty of it, along with the cups of tea. They even brought some of the cakes home as they couldn`t eat it all.

Called in for breakfast most of which was very good. Sausage and bacon very tasty. The eggs were unfortunately undercooked. Mine was edible but my partner had to leave hers. And yes we could have sent it back, but you really shouldn't need to. The toast was cold. Coffees were good and it's a nice setting with decent service.

Called in to Lotties on Sunday 16th for the first time . Just had a couple of Latte’s ,the food that was being served looked excellent. Will have to return and try a breakfast. My only gripe was the coffees were only just warm, they need to be served Hot.

Nice modern cafe with great views from the back. Good parking on the pub/restaurant next door. Not very big, had to wait a few minutes for a table. Food was ok, I had the chicken and pesto flatbread off the specials board, it was tasty enough but virtually impossible to cut through with the knife provided, ended up just picking it up. Waitress was friendly and pleasant enough.
