Looe Tandoori in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Usually excellent order and delivery service. This evening I ordered a meal and was told delivery would be by 6.36pm. Its now 7.20pm,ive rung twice and been told the delivery person has left, but my meal still not arrived!

We had an excellent meal in friendly atmosphere. It was good value and great quality. Best Indian meal I have had for some time. Would definitely recommend and will be returning soon.

Yet another evening ruined by their incompetence. The least they could do is pick up the phone to explain why they haven’t delivered. You have been warned!

The quality of the food was excellent, great service and very professional staff, with great attention to customers. The best food that we have have had in a long time, would definitely go back.

My husband and I have stayed in Looe many times but never eaten at the Viceroy. On our last visit we decided to give it a go. All we can say is we thoroughly enjoyed our food and would highly recommend this restaurant, the food was delicious and staff very friendly. We will definitely be back on our next holiday in Looe. The food here is absolutely delicious, the best Indian food we've had in a long time. To start we shared a sheesh kebab & onion bhajis. The kebab was delicious & the bhajis huge, crispy & tasty. They didn't come with raita so I'd make sure to order some next time. Mains we had chicken tikka biryani & king prawn rasenger. Both were packed with flavour & we thoroughly enjoyed them. The naan is lovely & light. Service was really good & we had a really good evening, will definitely return.

By far the worst Indian meal I have ever tried to eat. Totally tasteless. It tasted of nothing. The biriani sauce was watery, it had no flavour and no taste.What a waste of money

Ordered a takeaway & thankfully these delivered. Unlike other Indian restaurants in Looe!! Very friendly & sent an online menu via text message. Ordered our food & even though it was over an hour to be delivered, that was acceptable for their busy period. The food arrived still hot and it was very good. Tasty and good quality. I recommend this if you’re in the area.

Here on holiday, and fancied a curry. If I’m honest, it wasn’t the best. Curries very watery. Onion Bhaji was cooked to a crisp. I had a lot better.

Booked the day before and were greeted with respect as is always the way in Indian restaurants. The food was excellent and authentically Indian. The chef visited us at the table and I asked if he had Kulfi (Indian frozen dessert) on the menu. He answered sadly no but would be happy to share his staff's dessert with us. Out came two portions of delicious Khirmohan which he gave with his compliments. What a nice man, and a great chef too. Enjoyed every morsal.

We arrived fairly late, but they were friendly and able to seat us and service was prompt. Food was great with all 3 dishes we ordered!

Had a takeaway , which was Balti Chicken Tikka . Worst I've ever had , literally 5 small pieces of chicken with half a tomato visible and a very watery curry sauce . Definitely will not visit again . Very disappointed .

Both the meals of my wife and I were excellent. I had Chicken Tikka Patia ( my go to meal) and was in the top 5 I’ve had ( and I’ve had many) The staff could have been a little more happy and friendly. Would certainly recommend you try this place

The meal was average BUT when leaving I saw their delivery driver shouting and screaming at a woman who had ordered a taxi. Seemingly it was about his self entitled right to park in a loading bay. If their drivers can behave so abusively and not be reprimanded, what happens in the kitchen. Really, the food is not that good and having been seated near the kitchen I am sure I could smell cigarette smoke - FROM THE KITCHEN!

So these guys did a great job delivering Indian food to us (we are a couple of miles out of town) during lock-down. Had a meal with them this evening in the restaurant. It was lovely food, not too spicy but full of flavours.
