Long White Cloud in Hackney

Absolutely delicious food, probably the best scrambled eggs on toast I’ve ever had. I had to come back the second day, that was how freaking good it was. Owner is cheerful and charming. Coffee was not the best, but everything else makes up for that. I highly recommend this place.

Amazingly friendly staff. Such a welcoming feeling this turkish lady behind the counter provided. I am not used to that friendliness and kindness in London, really great experience!

Unlike many coffee shops in the area, their baked goods are properly homemade, on site. I got a slice of banana bread straight from the oven, it was the best banana bread I have ever eaten.

My favourite cafe in London, Mehmet is a fantastic owner and chef and the vibe is always welcoming. Food is fantastic - I get the english breakfast but the French toast or omelette are both amazing.

I love their wide range of sandwiches and wraps all made from organic ingredients. Do pick up a cheeky oat and raspberry cookie, they're big so easily shareable if you're only feeling peckish.

Loved this place! How did I not know about it while I was living up the road not sure but was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, the prices, and the friendly service. Chill vibe, felt creative and like a little haven off of chaotic hackney road! Check it out! :)

What do you want from a café? Good ingredients cooked well and served with genuine friendliness and that's exactly what you get here. Simple things like an omelette on toast are so very, very tasty plus little twists that enhance the flavours without drowning it in frivolous faff. I am a miserable b..... whose glass is permanently half empty but this place brings me joy

Local café at its best! Reasonably priced. Nothing pretentious, just good food and friendly service. You can really sense the community feel here, having breakfast with the locals or with those who just came from the Flower Market on Columbia Rd. Great vegetarian and vegan choices.

The best coffee you’ll find in East London and for the best Price! Every time I’m rushing to the Hoxton station, I know that I can grab a coffee here in less than a minute because they’re so speedy and reliable. The staff are also SUUUUPER lovely, Mehmet and Ellie. A real community feeling. Ps, try the banana bread, it’s phenomenal.

Had breakfast, which was super tasty and the banana cake is a must have! Definitely check this place out if you are in the area, specially after visiting Columbia Road Flower Market.

We love this cafe - Mehmet and his team are so kind and welcoming. The food is home cooked and delicious, with reasonable prices and good portions. The coffees and takeaway drinks are served in either recyclable takeaway cups, or combustible cups made from plant based materials. They offer loyalty card to regular visitors. Highly recommended!

Honestly, I’ve been visiting hundreds of bakeries and cafes here in London, but here the food was prepared like from my grandma- real food, extremely delicious! Excellent service and staff. If you’re in this area - don’t miss this place for breakfast etc. and the banana bread as well!

One of the best place to have a breakfast in London. I was looking for a high-protein breakfast that would fit my diet so I got Egg whites omelette which was super delicious. However, it was impossible not to try the oat cookie and even to buy some for take away. Fantastic place with very welcoming and nice people, love it! ♥️🙏🏼

Probably the best banana bread I had in my life! Their halloumi wrap was also really delicious! In addition I got the cheese and pesto croissant, the chicken avo sandwich and the homemade cookie with dates - all high quality and tasty, if anything the cookie was maybe a little too sweet for my taste! Highly recommended to try this place, it has a lovely service and atmosphere as well!

I always pop in when I can - it’s ran by the kindest people. The owner/chef/barista is always so friendly and makes the nicest coffees in the area. Everything on the menu is divine, highly recommend breakfasts with their lovely sourdough and the salads are top notch! Don’t leave without some home-baked banana bread… or any of their tempting sweet treats 👌🏽🩵

We went with my mum who is coeliac and initially the menu didn't look very suitable. However the chef offered to make any of the breakfast dishes with fried potatoes instead of the ( particularly delicious) sourdough bread. In the end we had the fabulous lentil soup and the chef made a little side salad with fried potatoes on it which was super. Also we loved the coffee. Thanks for a good lunch - we were in a slightly stressful moment as Mum had just lost her bank card and we had to sort it out so it was really nice to have somewhere friendly to sort it all out in. Also the desserts were wonderful , made with fruit sugars mainly.

This place is a wonderful gem and serves quite possibly the best full English brekkie in London. I would have posted a photo of it but it was so delicious, I’d already eaten it. The owner puts his own little twist on the traditional cafe menu. The coffee is amazing. If you’re busy, the take away food is delicious. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the artwork on the walls is great and changes regularly. You can either buy the ones you like!

An absolute diamond of a cafe. I only started coming here to get a daily espresso but by day 3, the owners knew my order and treated me with such warmth and familiarity from day 1. I ended up coming here to lunch and asked for their vegan sandwiches. Before I even finished the owner waved with assurance and said “I’ll make it for you”. And make it, he did. A couple of hours later I came back and he got right to crafting the BEST sourdough vegan sandwich. I love it here and everyone should be able to experience such a fantastic cafe that’s full to the brim with fabulous service and amazing food.

Cosy, down to earth, no-nonsense breakfast place. Friendly service, with extra kudos to the lady with the very radiant smile. That brought over our water and brown sauce. We had the full English breakfast and it was everything we needed.

We visited them at 7:15 am for an early breakfast. It was good quality, responsibly sourced, organic food. Not a massive menu, but something for everyone. Great service and will definitely be going back there again soon.

I lived in the area for 3+ years and this was our go-to favourite breakfast place. The brunch is absolutely amazing - 10/10 taste, service and atmosphere. The baked beans on toast is unbelievably delicious. I find myself craving their breakfast SO often and it is beautifully presented. If you’re considering going, GO! Thank you to everyone who works there, can’t wait to come 1000x more times.

Stumbled across this place looking for a bacon and egg sandwich. It didn't disappoint. Neither did the Full English. Wonderful food, served by a very friendly team. The lovely lady who brought our food over had a beaming smile that reminded me of my grandmother when she used to spoil me with her delicious home cooked food. Happy memories. The prices are very reasonable too. Highly recommended. Will try and visit again soon.

WOW, ever since I first popped my head in last year, this place has been my lunchtime mecca. The MOST friendly staff you will ever meet, they make me laugh and smile when the clouds outside are grey, inside the Long white cloud, the clouds are always shining bright! I feel more than a customer now, I feel like a member of the cloud family. The list of friends and lovely conversations I have made in this cafe is as long as the clouds themselves! Also, they have the BEST SANDWICHES AND COFFEE IN THE WHOLE OF THE UK, made with quality ingredients, care and most importantly love.

The staff are very friendly and have a smile for everyone. The customer service is second to none. Having a coffee from Long White Cloud in the morning has now become a permanent feature of my morning routine.

Words cannot describe how much I enjoy the food and service at Long White Cloud. It is an absolute must visit if you are ever passing through Shoreditch. I’ve been going here for years and will continue to do so. An added bonus is that they have the best homemade banana bread ever!

Very disappointing experience! I was not greeted upon walking in, I sat down for 10 mins while nobody approached me to say hello or ask me if I'd like a drink or to order food. I left without ordering, as customer service is very important to me, it's not just about having good food, which unfortunately I never got round to trying. I won't be going there again.

Long White Cloud is the best coffee shop in Shoreditch! They serve amazing coffee and food and their customer service is unmatched. The atmosphere is lovely which makes it a great morning stop and a nice place to get work done. I cannot recommend it enough!

My local that never disappoints - wholesome food and beverages to kick start the day or take a break from work. The service is second to none and you're made to feel at home. For me it's a veggie breakfast baguette and mocha 👌🏽

I'm a regular here and honestly Mehmet really cares about his customers. He gets to know everyone personally and the food here is honestly worth it. If you are local it is criminal for you not to pass by and try the variety of homemade pastries he has.
