Rather disappointing visit to the tea exchange. Tea is very overpriced at £8 for a pot. Was presented with a pot of liquid (no tea in sight) and since they didn't ask how strong I like my tea, it was pretty awful and weak. You have to ask for milk too. Quite simply I've had better tea in the chain coffee shops. Cake choice was reasonable but didn't taste particularly special...we had red velvet heart cake. Won't be returning.

Came here in a last ditch attempt to get a cake for a 21st birthday. Yasmin was friendly and very helpful in this process. She also demonstrated excellent customer service when it came to the pricing and payment of the cake. The cake itself was very delicious and I would recommend grabbing a slice should you find yourself there.

Fabulous tea - loads of cake, in fact probably too much cake but was able to get a box to take the cake home. Pot of tea per person and a selection of sandwiches. Lovely service from the waiter who knows a lot about the tea on offer. Generally a good experience.

We arrived and were greeted by very friendly staff. The choice on the menu was perfect for us. We chose to have the High Tea choice which consisted of delicious freshly made sandwiches, choice of cake and a variety of small cakes and a scone with cream and jam. A choice of any two pots of freshly made tea from the huge range of tea. The staff were all attentive and gave us advice on choice of tea. It was so nice to be treated like a valued customer. Very Highly Recommended

Popped in with my husband for a break from Brick Lane madness. We found a beautifully serene environment. Yasmeen was attentive and knowledgeable. The tea- and cake (we had to take some home as we could not eat it all) were delicious. We wanted to go back but did not have time. Take time out of your day, sip some tea and get to know this wonderful tea-shop. A true gem and wonderfully relaxing.

Have been here a number of times over past years when visiting London but it’s now gone very down hill. There’s a lot less tables so had to wait for tables to be cleared which took ages but wasn’t overly busy. Waited ages for order to be taken and had to request order taken. Was close to leaving. Tea when it came was nice. Some people were waiting for a long time for their order as we drank our tea. Then had unsurprising extra charge applied to bill.

Popped in to see what all the fuss was about as recommended by my friends and I could not be pulled away from it as I immediately fell in love with the smell of fresh herbal teas. It was so hard to choose from as they had so many to select but in the end I chose one that helped me de-stress myself from a busy day at work. I will definitely be visiting again soon but this time with my family as the environment was so relaxing and family friendly too.

It is a restaurant located in Brick Lane with a lot of tea leaves for customers to buy. We went into this after visiting the Markets in Brick Lane. There were three options of afternoon tea menus choices but as we were not very hungry so we just ordered two pots of tea and two pieces of cakes. You could also order tea by glass instead of pot. The tea we ordered were:- ◇Premium Sencha Sakura It was a green tea. I had never tasted a tea like this before and I loved it! It’s milky and silky with Cherry blossom flavour. ◇Premium Royal Yellow Tea It was a yellow tea. For me, it tasted a bit like Oolong. I was told that this tea would be served in weddings even for the Royal family member’s wedding. I was also told that the color of the tea is bright yellow just like the color of clothes wore by the emperor.

In my online order of well over £100s worth of teas and coffees one of the coffee bags had a hole in it and beans had spilled into the box. Upon bringing this their attention I was first asked for numerous photographs, and subsequently asked to return the beans at my own expense! The promised call back from the manager failed to materialise and upon phoning him he lectured me about their process, refused to listen to me, and finally informed me that he didn’t even care about my custom. I shall not be buying any more teas and coffees from the London Tea Exchange.

Visited the London’s best kept secret, The London Tea Exchange with few friends. You would neither find that many various types of teas in one place nor you would imagine that many kinds of teas can possibly exist in this earth. Stunned to know that at least 825 kinds of teas are in collection each are special and sourced from different corners of the world. The distinct taste of Asian Oolong tea taste can really take you to the next level by its floral fragrance every sip you take you would surely appreciate the aroma it releases in your mouth. We are definitely going back there for more soon.
