Had a very good long weekend break in the recently refurbished bedrooms. Could not fault the staff who helped us during our stay.

The deeply unpleasant landlord ruined it for us. He appears to be lacking in basic manners and decency. Recommend giving this place a miss

Customer service non existant poor attitude from the landlord. Heavily tattooed person with no sense of friendlyness. We as a group of 13 will never visit again .It costs nothing to smile and have manners.

Nice pub but why are you so keen to close. Last orders on a Friday at 10.30 when there are people in the pub! Then on the Saturday last orders called while the band were still playing. Ushered out very quickly with the offer of plastic cups to finish outside. Question for the owners….. do you want to make money post covid , if so, why not stay open when there is a demand. Crazy really

We went here for a drink on a Tuesday evening. It was quite quiet but the barman was so friendly and welcoming. They had a pretty reasonable selection of gins and rums and beers on tap. We had 2 rum and cokes for £8 which we felt was very reasonable. I'd 100% go back!!

Lovely outside area and good selection of drinks unfortunately the landlords attitude and demeanour spoilt what would've been an enjoyable visit

Paid over £50 for 4 large gin and tonics - we will never go to this pub again - pity as new landlord seemed a decent chap when we went in a few months earlier

Popped in with doggy just for a quick drink. Was made to feel welcome. We decided to have something to eat. Food was tasty, clean & staff were nice and friendly. We are here for the week and from today’s visit we will pop in again. Thank you

Asked for a white wine spritzer with lemonade at the bar. When I received it was clearly with soda. Partner took it back to ask for it to be changed. Landlord refused. Awful customer service. Will not be returning.

Myself and my Dad came to visit whilst having a weekend in Croyde - which we do often - This time we were celebrating my 40th! We came here to watch the England game and we couldn’t have been welcomed anymore. Service was incredible and we also ordered some chicken wings baskets which were great. Can’t thank them enough for making this occasion so memorable for me!

Local fella, came to watch the football with group of friends and the service was okay but was a shame regarding staff as they were rude. I understand the busyness but there wasn’t need for the sassy-ness given. Everyone was creating the local pub good business and spending good money but the people taken orders and general staff were just rude and really didn’t appreciate the service when we are all here to celebrate the England game. The pub does have good facilities and I understand the trade as work in busy sea side town in Devon my self but pure rudeness was completely unnecessary. Good beer tho ;)

Was looking a little sad and neglected all closed up September last year so was delighted to see it open and looking good inside. Well staffed table service and a good selection of beers and other drinks. Will look to try one of their local steaks next time - v competitively priced at around a tenner. Well worth a visit to support this historic local and the staff who have everything covered to ensure you enjoy in a safe compliant environment

A very traditional pub with a great bar person who remembered our order from 3 days previously ........ the lovely Ellen her memories so good she’s a Jedi!!

Lovely sunny beer garden where we ate our meal. I went for the signature burger which was fine but definitely not special ir a 'signature dish'. Most of the 'special' bits were missing but I was hungry, so it was fine! My partner had sausage and mash as his first two choices had sold out - again, enough and filling but basic. Lovely pub and the staff couldnt have been more helpful. We went back again for a few pints. Lovely pub.

Nice afternoon drink here with very friendly staff and a nice log fire. Very clean toilets looks good for a meal although we didn’t eat here. Well worth a visit. Perhaps nice in the summer months

Went in to catch up with friends and its had such an amazing uplift. Friendly owners and fantastic atmosphere. Not very far from me but they have changed it so much and looks so much better for it.

So we were actually the only people here when we visited. The Bar Manager served us and as really nice new his stuff as well. The pub was nicely decorated and relaxing with a great outside space for us to side. The seating area outside looked very new and was very high quality withholds to tie your pooch to. Beers and ciders very well kept as well. I imagine on a weekend this place could have great atmosphere.

We have been to the London Inn few times before & always been happy . We booked yesterday for 2 vegetarian carvery , we arrived sat outside then the head chef came out to say it was ready ..We got out then realised my food was cold ,I went back into say told the head chef well I could not believe her attitude she went behind the bar & I saw her pulling a face to the guy behind the bar & to another customer ...I was so shocked I said my food was cold her attitude towards me was wrong I addressed the way she was to me but she just seemed to get more frustrated,then the bar tender said she is bad tempered as she is stopping smoking !! I honestly don’t know what to say apart from she should not be front of house & needs to go on a customer relations course.. The food was ok but had obviously been on the warmer for a while not really acceptable .... Such a shame as we use to like it there won’t be back ... The only saving grace was the bar tender was polite & apologised for her behaviour!!

Bit of a soulless place, OK for a swift pint when passing. No food at lunchtime when we went! I've heard that the Sunday lunches are OK, but haven't tried one myself. Nice to sit outside on a good day and watch the world go by.

We are on holiday and popped in about 8.30. We were reminded that our girls of 10 and 11 needed to be out by 9 despite us being quiet and only 3 other people in. Felt very unwelcome.

Difficult to score this place, it is a pub which is great for standing at the bar and having a few bevvies but we went with friends to eat and there was no food so we had a drink and left. So the morale is don’t go here to eat, however the lady behind the bar was just lovely.

We wanted a roast and got one here at the London Inn, the food was ok - as i have lots of food allergies i coudn't get any gravy so had to have a dry roast , it was ok the meat was good - beef , pork and gammon - veg all the trimmings the place was very quiet and the old outside dose not look like the inside - supposed to be new and sort of trendy inside ? odd wall paper and odd crowd not sure if i would go back

what can I say about this fantastic pub, the staff are so helpful they made us feel real welcome, we went in as strangers and left as friends, the car park is at the back of the pub and if that's full there is a large carpark at the back of that. the food is simple but tasty and great value for money.

A family atmosphere with excellent Food and Service made our Sunday visit to The London Inn memorable. Highly recommend *****

Great Sunday carvery, always a choice of meats and veg, can't fault it. Fridays and Saturdays nights are fantastic here. Great atmosphere and the place to be for a fantastic night!

A decent pub with mock old furnishings. Lots of screens showing sports TV. Pub car park at the back, adjoining the main car park for the village.

Cuando estoy en la zona de pop y tengo que decir que el nuevo dueño y su equipo han cambiado el pub completamente. Siempre una cálida bienvenida y una sonrisa esperando y aunque no he probado la comida pero lo haré pronto como parece genial...sigan con el buen trabajo chicos.

Friendly pub, reasonable prices. They do a good breakfast good basic pub grub. They are dog friendly so Fido can keep you company. Small carpark at the rear of the pub.

We have visited this pub several times when we have been in the area over the last 2/3 years and always enjoy drinking in there - prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is good . We decided to eat there this year for the first time and overall really felt we had wasted our money. The food was very bland and basically presented.

Had the London Burger x2 whoppers with bacon n cheese [should had gone without] chips was plenty got 3/4 thru the burger I was stuffed abseloute brilliance will be back again next month.

Visited there a few times when I have been in the area. Never fails to disappoint. Good band on and nicely kept Doom Bar ale. Good time pub if there is a band on. Reasonable prices

Had a curry it was too "timid" for me but I love me chicken n rice anyhow so was happy m8 had the "london Burger" very lushious andf aplenty to eat, very good multi-taked staff 1 person doin the job or 3-4 ppl 1st class.

Just had great steaks and ribs for really great price - excellent beer too. This is a drinkers pub so don't be surprised by some bad language and a lot of noise when busy. If you can get past that then the pub food is second to none. Really friendly hosts too.

This pub has everything you would want, Beer Beer and more Beer, they serve lovely food, they have a juke box for music and TV if you want to watch the sport. There is a pool table and outside areas for relaxing. Good friendly staff. Well done guys, we will return. :-)

Popular for those wanting inexpensive pub grub which is basic but plentiful with the two TVs tuned to Sky Sports. Clean neat and tidy.

If you fancy a drink in Braunton, don't use this pub! I witnessed a chap who had left his car in their car park as he had too much to drink, being attacked by 3 staff. My children and dog were traumatised by what went on. The land lady deliberately moved his car to a very precarious place and then tried to get some one to call the police! NICE! I will never go near this place again and the locals who also witnessed this event have also said they will,never go in there again. On a plus, the juke box selection and soft drink variety was second to none.

Had 10oz sirloins with all the trimmings cooked to perfection for £27 for two . The food always looks amazing.

My family are regular visitors to Braunton and the surrounding area. We met with some friends last week and the London Inn was as good a choice as any for a meeting point. There were seven of us; two had pints of Stella and both were tainted with line cleaner which is used to clean the beer pump pipes. The manager refused to acknowledge a problem; he offered no alternative and merely took the fresh pints back and disposed of them! No refund, no apology - nothing. The other drinks - wine, cider, etc, were fine.Talking to a local shop keeper he recommended the Rock Inn, in Georgham. We tried The Rock having been there many years ago and an immediate comparison - about an hour after we left the London Inn - that really showed how bad the London Inn really is. Won't be back anytime soon.

We were staying in Braunton and met up with family for an evening meal and walked passed the London Inn. It was a Friday night and only one table free so luckily this was big enough for us. The staff were very friendly and came over to us to say that food orders were closing so if we wanted to order we needed to make up our minds. We loved the menu, the prices were great and the portions big. Very good value and all the food tasted lovely. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely lunch sat outside in the sunshine. Nothing fancy but all nice & fresh. Helpful, polite staff!
