Amazing place! The food was brilliant and staff was lovely! Will defiantly be returning and taking my children! I know they will love place!

Wow!! Hidden back street traditional community chippy. Visited today and was greeted by a warm, welcoming smile and the amazing smell of “proper chippy”. The food was freshly made, piping hot and tasted delicious. I was cautious after seeing the reviews, but I believe they are trolls. After reading Google reviews and visiting, I am definitely visiting again and telling my friends and family. Thank you xx

Absolutely gutted. Used to come here every Saturday for over 20 yrs growing up as my grandma lived round the corner. Always raved about the place, but after today I definately won't be back. The prices are extortionate.. I mean seriously £5 for the smallest piece of fish that had been sat there for god knows how long.. you'd think you'd get a decent sized portion at least for the price your paying. Gosh we used to get a fish and patty special for less then three quid.. no idea what's happened to the once amazing chippy but its not worth the paper it's wrapped in!

not for us .grease went all the way through wrappers could not enjoy it as too greasy all round sorry would not recommend very small portions when not specials anyway plus we never recieved the peas .smelled like old fat thats just my opinion..

working in Tesco all day on a promotion. No hot drink or food facility in store. Thought I would pop out to find a burger van. going down Londesborough st I found the chip shop open and no queue. ordered a large haddock. waited on the pavement in the sunshine, tell called to me to tell it had been cooked. I found the batter tasteless and soaked in oil and uncooked inside. The peas had a good texture and were flavoursome

For the same price as a burger at Hull City I had a fish, chips and as the server said a very fruity (and delicious) curry sauce. Decent quality at a very keen price. Recommended.

Visited this chip shop as an away fan as it's near Kcom Stadium, had haddock and chips and it was the cheapest I have ever paid for fish and chips. The quality of both the haddock and chips were excellent and friendly staff too. Would visit again if I am ever in Hull next time.
