Had Sunday Carvery. Didn't book, but managed to get a table within half an hour. Good choice of veg - especially mashed potato. Everything well cooked. Would definitely go again

Wouldn’t call the staff overly inviting or friendly. Food was quite nice for a cheap pub chain, better than my local Brewers Fayre at home that I wouldn’t step foot in again.

It's ok, there's a soft play, which is handy for toddlers but for what's there it's quite expensive. Food was very slow and honestly not great for the price

I arrived Friday 25 April to stay at the Premier inn, 4 Adults 4 children went to the restaurant, I was told they couldn’t give us a table due to only 2 members of staff working that night, when I asked is there any other places we could eat I was looked up and down and told you have a phone look your self. The next morning I walked into breakfast to be welcomed outside the front door to the same person vaping at the entrance of the restaurant, as I walked in with my 5 year old son I was covered in her vale smoke. We all sat down I spoke to the manager which I was told you must do it online if you wish to Complain. The food was over cooked, the plates was chipped, the fruit and muffins looked they they have been in there for days. The staff had to keep getting hot water from the kitchen for cups of tea. I write an email to the customer service team about my experience and how the staff came across, I got an email thanking me for being it to there attention and will speak to the restaurant, I will never eat in a brewers restaurant again. Unprofessional and rude members of staff Dirty and chipped plates Food Quality Is very poor Customer service team not very helpful.

Did a meal deal with the Premier inn and ordered a steak. That's not included, so had to pay extra. The meal comes with a drink, but what I requested isn't included so had to pay extra. Hot food served on a cold plate, peas were chilled, steak was really hard work but chips were OK! I did mention my issues to the waitress, but meal deals are NOT refundable, so if your meal is a little lacklustre, tough.

I had cause to complain last visit so thought it only right to leave a positive review this time. Carvery was fantastic, steak was perfection. Staff as usual were great.

Despite having coeliac disease, I was not asked once by either the front of house staff or person taking the food order if I had any allergies. Luckily I downloaded the GF menu onto my phone and when I ordered, I specifically asked for a gluten free meal from that menu. When the food arrived, I queried it as it had a poppadom with it. The front of house lady queried it and came back to tell me I had not ordered the gf curry as it wasn't written on their ticket! She practically threw the allergy book at me and asked me to read it. As my son is manager in a different brewers fayre, it is policy to ask about allergies on arrival and when ordering. This did not happen. I did get another meal but I feel that I was made out to be a lier and the young man with dark hair who took my order looked like he didn't want to be there 20.4.25. Will probably not return, they don't seem to take their allergy issues seriously, despite there being two recent allergy related deaths in two other Brewers Fayre establishments. Poor service.

Pre-booked for 28 people, teenagers and adults on rugby tour. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Food was delicious. Thank you.

Tried to have breakfast here. I say tried as there was no cutlery on our table had to find our own. Went to the buffet counter to find items empty had to ask for more to be brought out. Little to no fruit juice and then no glasses to put the juice in. No spoons for cereals and no pastries. Counters were messy. All in all not a good experience. As a local won’t be rushing back.

Dirty plates and coffee cups, when raised to staff they shrug shoulders and say “we don’t eat here”. Very rude. Lot of them need firing and replacing

Absolutely Awful Experience – Never Again! Visited Loggans Moor Brewers Fayre recently, and it was hands down one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we walked in, the staff were shockingly rude and completely unwelcoming. We were treated like an inconvenience rather than paying customers — no smiles, no friendliness, just cold stares and dismissive attitudes. It’s absolutely not a place I’d recommend for families. There was zero consideration for children, which made the entire visit stressful and unpleasant. The food? An utter disgrace. I ordered a sirloin steak, and what I got was tiny, gristly, and mostly fat. It looked and tasted like it had been reheated — possibly more than once — then left to sit out for hours. Cold, dry, tasteless. The rest of the food wasn’t any better — bland, lukewarm at best, and with that awful “been sitting out too long” texture. It honestly felt like leftovers from the night before. There was no seasoning, no presentation, and clearly no care from the kitchen. It’s insulting that they charge money for food like this. To top it off, there was no mention or care about allergens. Nobody asked, no advice was given — and we had to frantically Google everything ourselves while my daughter sat terrified. That’s unacceptable in any restaurant, let alone one claiming to be family-friendly. Overall: terrible service, inedible food, and an unfriendly, careless environment. A complete waste of time and money. Avoid at all costs — there are far better places to eat in the area that actually value their customers.

Would give lower. Literally just chucked out with small children as well, because the waitress accused my husband of calling her a name, when he just asked for her name to complain. Another blonde waiter backed her up although he was actually clearing my table at time and nowhere near. Maybe manager should check cctv before he throws customers out, to see if his staff are telling the truth. My daughters 3rd birthday totally ruined, just because a rude waitress and her boyfriend decide to make up lies. I've never been treated like this in my life. To throw out a family from a pub, I'm just gobsmacked to be honest. I think they just didn't want to honour our discount voucher.

DONT COME HERE! ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN. The staff are rude. It smells very dirty and my food was cold and very small, as food was delivered to my table the man was very blunt but I ignored it and said to my ONE year old to say thank you and the man completely ignored me and muttered something under his breath. The staff were very incompetent and unable to do their jobs. Just an overall horrible environment to be in, I couldn’t wait to get out and I thought about telling them to return the meals and to get our money back but I wanted my baby to eat. RAW CHICKEN absolutely horrified they are open and running.

The food wasn’t good, and the service was very poor had to wait for 15 minutes I requested a loaded nachos with jalapeños and I got pickles lol. I would never recommend no one to this place.

As pubs go this is possibly one of the best I've been to (all things considered). Really good food and reasonable prices.

Breakfast was cold both mornings the evening meals were not the best

Food was over priced and awful, you’d be better off buying a microwave meal at the supermarket. Waiters constantly forgot items from the order. I wouldn’t be back in a hurry.

Extremely understaffed took 25 mins to bring out the kids starters and another after this 20 mins to bring out the mains which was small portioned poor quality food, the smothered chicken was dry and had a string on it and the chicken curry was more watery sauce then anything else. Had to chase the poor staff for our food as did other tables and also they had no one staffing the soft play we had to collar a member of staff to be able to to pay to enter! Only gave two stars as the staff were lovely and I felt bad for them being run off their feet.

Solid one star experience, breakfast and dinner on multiple occasions were low quality, poor tasting meals. At peak times expect to stand behind the one person staffed bar whilst table staff chat and moan in the food area. On each occasion I spotted dirty plates in the food area, the attention detail isn't here and I was served by staff with dirty clothing where they've wiped there hands on themselves. The food is straight from Iceland but would be better if it actually was. The breakfast is not worth paying for, it's worse than a Travelodge without a kitchen. Places like this exist because there's not another option and it's a shame as even the hotel staff recognise the poor standards on offer. To management: on multiple occasions I walked in to breakfast without any acknowledgement so could have eaten for free. Staff stand around on phon w and dont greet anyone, your front desk is always unattended and you need more bar staff at peak times, check your cctv for proof. Honestly a disaster.

It took way to long I had to wait an hour for food

Having visited for over 15 years on and off it really has deteriorated. The menu choice has reduced and it lacked any atmosphere. Food quality wasn't brilliant, everything was frozen and reheated. Don't get the mushrooms as a starter, they were full of water. They had also run out of a number of meals and sides which were altered without any explanation. Everything is bland, fried and beige.

We were a group of 7 adults and 3 children. Out for Mothers day and birthday celebrations. Food is acceptable if they haven't run out of it! Service is not a happy experience for both staff and customers. A little slap dash and lack of customer service skills. Ordering was not smooth and disjointed. They forgot our deserts and never apologised until we commented on the service. Following a written complaint, the manager said they had learnt from their experience, and things would be better next time. There will NOT be a next time. What a disappointment

We just had the Mother’s Day set meal for £16.99 for two courses with the option to add a third course for £2.00 extra. Ordered and paid at the bar telling the young person I wanted the roast deal. He never mentioned about ordering a starter or dessert at this time. After eating the main course I went to order two desserts which I assumed as stated was included in the price. I was then told as I did not order at the same time as my roast I would have to pay full price. I asked about this and they said it’s in the small print somewhere, could not show me. I’m afraid this but a real downside to my Mother’s Day lunch and I left feeling very cross and I hate being made a fool of. Sorry, I feel that if this is the case the lad should have asked if it was a starter or dessert we wanted. I hope you ensure the staff are informed what they need to ask to give good customer service. Not impressed at all.

I had the mixed grill was asked how did I want my steak cooked i said medium when I got my meal the steak was well over cooked it was dry and the gammon was chewy meal was not nice at all

We've visited here a few times and enjoy it but just heads up for people on holiday: The opening times on Google and their own website are wrong; they actually shut at 9pm on Sundays and not 10:30pm 😊

On 16/03/2025 we stayed at the adjoining Premier Inn and wanted a drink upon arrival after a 6 hour drive; Google AND their own website says it shuts at 10:30pm. We walked in at 08:50pm thinking we'd have enough time for a couple of drinks but when we sat down someone appeared and said "erm we're shut. We shut at 9pm on Sundays; we're just waiting for customers to leave" I think it's better for everyone if you update your opening times because there's no way people visiting are going to know what time you want to shut on any given day 😒

It has not improved. We have come here from many years only to find it's an extension of a creche. A family pub we were told - full of parents who don't look after their children wh run about willy-nilly. No wonder it's the only Brewer's Fayre in Cornwall.

Situated right next to the A30 this is a great place to stop for breakfast. Buffet means absolutely no waiting and you can eat as much as you want. The staff are always welcoming and friendly (especially Natalie and Sarah). Would highly recommended.

Well where do I start, seated at the darkest table in the whole place, the man greeting got the huff... apparently you have to place your orders at the bar, ihave been staying at places attached to premier inns for 20 odd years on business, first time ordering at the bar, and stayed at much bustier places, not happy when I quired it,the bloke mumbled I cut him off...really Was told at the bar it does not work here!! Works everywhere else under the Whitbread brand... Tomato soup came out nearly cold, no grozons, witha piece of a 99p loaf of bread...left that....beef and ale pie was warm but by that time lost the will.... Would have rathered going to makkie d's, next door. Asked "all OK as walking past,"almost an afterthought, didn't have the heart to launch into one. Other diners were missing stuff, and the two older ladies at the table next door asked to be seated elsewhere was told only place was in the bar, Theresa wa's a large table opposite that just needed to be cleaned...customer service me thinks.. In fact they all need a refresher course....First and last time eating here and staying in the Premier Inn next door... if it was the last place to stay, I would drive home.. I was warned but ignored the advice...

Chef serving carvery is amazing, such a happy guy. They dont really have enough staff to cope with the volume of customers so not there fault. Meals are OK as long as you don't order anything that is microwavable. Cheap and cheerful.

Waited 40 mins for a lasagna my £5.00 meal was more substantial than my husbands £12-09 meal

I normally go there every Friday morning for breakfast and the staff is really helpful and the food is great . Special thanks to Em and Sarah for the fantastic service and not forgetting the chef Nat for the great food .

Needed somewhere for some breakfast on our first day in Cornwall. What a great breakfast we found. I had the full English, thoroughly recommended- you can always tell a good quality full English by its sausages and these were lovely, friendly and prompt service( we were served by a young lad called Bailey) definitely worth my money!!

Stayed at premier inn next door to this restaurant. Elle, Sarah, Megan was brilliant.

We were assisted by a young man called Cameron I believe. He went above and beyond to help with wheelchair access and made our visit very enjoyable, a very polite young man, an asset to the team.

Love this place, the carvery is fab, so reasonable. Cameron is a great server always smiling and running around. Managers are fab always smiling even when busy.

Waitress just pointed us in the direction of the table which hadn't been cleaned... meal arrived 1 hrs 20mins later ( we asked after 50mins to be told it would be a few mins).. order wasn't correct but we ate it in fear of never seeing it again if we pointed it out .. desert arrived 30 mins after we had finished main mral but we had to ask for it.. plates weren't cleared despite waitress walking past several times ...the restaurant wasnt even that busy..its really poor.. we use brewers fayre at Penhale in Fraddon a lot which is absolutely amazing in comparison! I would not recommend Loggan at all !!

Service was atrocious. Took over an hour for one brownie. Don’t recommend. Tables were sticky and cutlery was dirty.

Food was terrible, I've ordered the vegan burger and it tasted just nasty. So dry patty, old tomato, missing gherkins and overall doesn't smell or taste good. Table was all sticky and cutlery dirty. Don't recommend going there.

Great price good food and great staff

Terrible service, waiting time ridiculous on desserts as the ticket didn't go through to the kitchen and was told an hour later after we asked were they were. Waitress miserable un apologetic didn't give a monkeys. Would definitely not go there again 2 people from our party of 8 had bad stomachs after going there.

We had to send food back as it was disgusting, the replacement was fine though. The service was rubbish just loads of young people behind the bar playing around with each other leaving us to stand to be seated for about 10 minutes. We asked for a high chair and was given the most vile chair I’ve ever seen with food on from what looks like months and months ago. I recommend the play area but wouldn’t feed me child there ever again

Went out with my partner was told there was a carvery full meats available purchased two meals went to get and was rudely told no turkey OK so went up to re purchase a different meal my partner got told to step aside as the very young rude guy did not know how to sort this meanwhile meal gone cold Evevutal sorted 20 mins later meal.arrived cold fish dry my partner upset about and evening out walked out as no one seemed to want to be helpful or even pleasant we paid £40 and left our cold meals un eaten Very rude staff disappointed working in retail it takes nothing to be pleasant

Service is poor 15mins to get seated then waited almost a hour for food which wasn’t all that great either to be honest, also the soft play is open until 3pm on a Tuesday, which i think they should shut at 7pm everyday, when we had the carvery on a Sunday most stuff was gone and wasn’t topped up although we was there at 4 which was an 2hours before they stopped it, definitely should think they should Atleast stop topping it up around 5:30

It is a lovely atmosphere there with the play place, the staff are lovely and helpful and the food is good with the buffet and all year around.

Very disappointed in kids meal. Beans were dry and looked like they had been dished up in bowls that morning and were a dull dry orange. Sweetcorn had no taste and were grey. Chicken was tough and dry. All our meals were cold to lukewarm warm

Booked for chritmas lunch very disappointed. Reported our table to the manager for being in a really cold location, dirty and place settings being wrong (setting scattered around table didnt line up with chairs and double forks on two place settings) . Wet floor sign next to table ect and the manager refused to move us. Only when I said I was going to complaint did she move us. we Had no option other than to stay and eat as it was chritmas day and no where else to go. Complained to head office who was no help at all. Definitely won't be dinning here again.

Wasn't expecting Xmas Dinner this year but just nipped in and festive roast. Fantastic, didn't expect that but credit where its due. Delicious, plenty of it and served by wonderful staff

Only went to use the play area with granddaughters. Which they loved. Noone there to take money or book us in for the 45mins we were there so had free play not once did anyone come in..

Absolutely the worst meal I've ever had, hand on heart! The burger was raw and inedible, the scampi was deep fried and burnt, the chips luke warm and the salad was nothing but lettuce a few microscopic pieces of red pepper and cucumber and a handful of sweetcorn. The service was non existent, we were given a lovely table in the window but were then asked to move to a "table over there on the right" we had to find it ourselves, it turned out to be opposite the bar where we had to endure a member of staff who had finished her shift shouting at the staff who were still working. Then another member of staff started hoovering a few feet away from us. I tried to get the waiters attention but they were more interested in chatting to their colleagues so we left, unfortunately we'd paid when ordering. Honestly you couldn't make this up, it was a truly traumatic experience.

We had a roast here, not very busy that day. We requested for children desserts and our mains to arrive together. 15 minutes after children had eaten their desserts, we had to chase up our meals. Roast turned up, no flavour within potatoes or veg. Food was bland and all in all, we've been here now 3 times and have always faced some issues. We will never come back and would never recommend.

Google maps incorrect, staff say only open till 2200 since covid, food and service as expected

You get what you pay for, open hours also not as advised on Google maps. Apprently, this has been since covid and they have yet to up date.

Breakfasts in the lower end of the hotel market are usually much of a muchness but at Premier Inn’s Logan’s Moor this morning we experienced a tip top, first class breakfast. Well done to chef Nat and to the girls, Elle, Sarah, and Em who worked so hard keeping the tables clean and the buffet topped up. As usual with Premier Inns n Cornwall, the cleaning department are woefully understaffed hence the overall need for a good tidy up but overall, a great breakfast.

The food was as you would expect, not amazing but good for the price. The service was exceptional. Ellie B was incredibly kind, helpful and friendly. She went out of her way to make sure our son had a great evening.

Dirty place, missing dishes from order. Food was dry and bland, vegetarian options were awful, not all items on the menu were available . Wouldn't recommend it at all.

Every time we come here there are no staff and the softplay is always closed! My daughter gets so excited and then disappointed! Get your staffing issues sorted!

When I experienced this restaurant and gone for the Sunday carvery I’d say some of the food was great. Not 100% as I felt the gammon wasn’t really the best. I did like the Turkey there, was a good tasting Turkey in my opinion and the wait, a bit of a long 5-10 minutes wait for the host to greet before paying up for the carvery at the bar. Not all great but certainly not a bad experience.
