We been sat today for 2 hours enjoying drinks and decided to get food. While family ordered theirs we went to order ours and been told that they do not serve food by that area and after 5 pm is reservations only, bare in mind there was food menu on table number 4 and our other half of family got their food by that time by the that table. Manager Holly informed my father in law that they do not serve food in that area even tho half of family was already eating by that table and we was supposed to reserve table and next available table was hour and half away. My son was devastated and was crying as his nephews were eating food already and he was left hungry watching them eating food. Father in law, myself, husband and my child been left not able to order food while other half of family ordered and received food. Holly was not willing to explain why other half of family was able to order food by that table only mentioned that someone maybe made a mistake and we was not allowed to order. It was very confusing situation due to menu was on table and half of our family HAD FOOD. Very unprofessional manager , lack of management skills. I been here many times and experience was very nice but today I was left very confused, upset and hungry.

One of the very worst meals of my 41 years on this planet, table was never cleared the food made me feel VERY poorly indeed my mother in law's desert was ice cold (sticky toffee pudding with custard so should of been at least Luke warm) the young man at the desk decided to sit us next to the smokers door with our 5 yr old daughter which said door was always propped open by smokers who were deeply inconsiderate, absolute utter joke of a place and needs shutting down asap either that or a whole new team putting in place as the team that we experienced on Thursday were much less than utterly useless. Will never ever come back here much less would I ever recommend this hell hole to anyone else unless you fancy having your day utterly ruined, oh and the advertised children's soft play/play area....closed entirely .

We took advantage of the breakfast kids eat for free deal. It was such a good spread, loads of options, fresh and very tasty. There was so much choice that everyone was catered for and we didn't have to make menu choidces which was a relief. It was very busy, so booking is a must, but we didn't feel rushed. The service was great and food delicious great work team Loggans Moor.

We came in as a walk in and fair enough it's busy I totally get it, I wish they had just turned us away though and we could have saved ourselves the misery! We got a table near the back next to soft play which was closed, five year old daughter was fuming as this was the reason we choose to eat here usually anyway whilst we're down here, but she dealt with it well and just sat down and chilled out. It was absolutely freezing though where we we're sat as we were round the corner from the backdoor and people kept coming in and out that way and leaving the door barged open even with a chair at one point, god forbid we would have needed to get out quick for any reason, would have gone flying over that. It also didn't help that when inconsiderate people kept leaving the door open it was freezing, windy and we had napkins flying across the table into our food. Food came and was alright but dry and we had to send our daughter's back as the plate was dirty, and even had an extra there with a hair stuck to her veggie sticks, yummy I'm sure. Then the eggs weren't cooked and had extra protein with some lovely crunchy shell in there just for that extra oomph. To finish off we ordered deserts and the sticky toffee pudding arrived with mildly luke warm sticky toffee and what looked like the dreggs of custard. Whilst my daughter's brownie was hotter than molten lava! She couldn't even eat it for five minutes waiting for it to cool down. To completely add to it not once did any of the waiting staff come over to check how our meals we're or clear away any of the plates we had finished with, which in all honesty just should be bear minimum standards. Unfortunately we won't be returning again as we felt the service and food was sub par.

Absolutely awful experience! 1 hour wait for food ! Missing items when food was served to then be told yes sorry we ran out half and hour ago !!! Food Under cooked ! Dirty tables , menus and everything else ! No toilet roll or soap in the bathroom ! Would not let my dog eat here ! X AVOID !!!

We went there for lunch which was great no problems great service so later on we decided to go for dinner same place we hadn't booked but thought it will be OK we arrived and was told we fully booked out even tho there was no one in there plenty of tables free he didn't even look to see if there was some were for two so I lost my temper and left very disappointed with the service in Cornwall

Shown to our booked table upon arrival where we were handed the menus and the member of staff explained how to go about ordering food and drinks from the bar. Ordering was simple and we were able to customise the dishes for our kids (as you do 😉). Food arrived promptly and was as ordered, nicely presented and tasty , we all enjoyed our meals. Puddings followed and were also good. We left having been there for 90 minutes, all satisfied. The only thing that gets me is that all Whitbread Groups pubs ( Brewers Fayre, TableTable, Cookhouse and Pub, Beefeater, Whitbread Inns etc.) all offer exactly the same menu and when they're located fairly close to each other it limits where you're going to eat as nobody in the family group wants to eat from the same menu all week we're down here on holiday.

Great breakfast. Really nice place, really nice food and close to Churchtown Farm campsite. It fits the bill perfectly.

Got here at 6 40 , recieved a table at 7 although it is quite empty , 7 05 order given it is now 8 27 and my food still isnt here... dont even bother coming here idk how this place has any review above 3 stars

We came for dinner and had to order our meal at the bar. Unfortunately the lady who was ordering at the front of the queue took at least ten minutes to order her food for her party of 3. The queue was building up behind her which she was completely oblivious to. The reason for my review was to say how well Charlie who was serving behind the bar dealt with it. He kept his cool, stayed calm and was completely professional. No one came to help him take orders or even to do the drink orders. But he didn't get flustered, he dealt with every customer calmly and professionally. Well done Charlie. You are a credit to them.

Stayed in Hayle for 2 weeks recently and came here quite a few times. The food was always good quality and reasonably priced. Updated August 2024: visited the restaurant for breakfast. The selection of food was very good, the staff were constantly bringing our fresh food and were very helpful when needed to ask them anything.

Zero stars aren’t available I have never in my life experienced such terrible customer experience from the ‘greeting manager’. Really crappy attitude from the offset and gave the impression she just didn’t want us there. Was barked at that we could have booked using the app and that they were completely full all night. We’d just spent a week camping locally and had booked the Premier Inn next door for a last night of comfort Arrived around 6pm to be told grumpily that we should have booked. The restaurant was almost empty? But all ok, informed a table would be available at 7:45. At 8:30 and yes, restaurant was about 20% capacity and nobody had let us know a table was available or not. We asked would it be ok for my son to use the play area, to be told grumpily it closes at 7. We were tolerant and decided to walk around to the play area at 6:15. More than happy to pay the full fee. Stood there for over 10 mins. Nobody around to take the £4.50 fee. Nobody watching the kids in there or serving. So walked away Spent 30 mins at least queuing for drinks, £25+ each time. Again, all ok, but the poor boy on the bar was on his own and trying to serve 8+ people over and over. Overheard him saying that a lot of the menu was now not available We gave up and walked over to McDonalds to get a takeaway. To the restaurant ‘manager’ despite how potentially understaffed you might have been a better welcoming and clearer messaging would have been appreciated. Appalling chain and will honestly never visit again. Is this the standard you set Brewers?

(Two adults and fussy eater child) We've enjoyed our evening meal a lot, all staff were friendly, food was delicious and arrived fast- within 35 minutes (fish & chips; chicken katsu curry & chicken breast, chips, peas and corn for our boy, who despite of being a very fussy eater finished all including dessert!). Not sure why there is so many negative feedbacks, we highly recommend this place, visit and check out yourself!

Really poor experience. Greeted by the chef rather than a host, turned away before we could ask for a table because the female manager - who wouldn't come talk to us - refused to take any more customers despite it being 8pm. In the 5mins we were there, 2 other tables were complaining and receiving refunds so probably best we didn't eat here

Standard Brewers Fayre buffet breakfast. Not much more to say really.

Hmmmm… very annoyed this morning having been told we could’nt dine in because we’d not booked.. Even though it was very quiet. That been the case you were happy to take our money yesterday and the previous 3 mornings… And past 3 nights. Make your mind up if you need to pre book or not!… at least for everyone else’s sake, we won’t be dining here again. The lady on the counter made us feel like the size of a peanut!! It’s a shame there isn’t much choice in Hayle because the food here isn’t that great and the service is none existent .

I would give it zero stars but i couldn't we had to wait about 2 hours for food I was crying on the floor I was so hungry never go here unless you want to be hungry for two hours

Just one word to describe this pub: 🔥🔥🔥 I even had McDonald's McFlurries after the main meal, and my photos say it all! (I will post my McFlurry photos on the McDonald's LM review page.) The wait time was just a smidge excessive, but otherwise this is a perfect 5-star review! Will be returning here in the future! 😁

Well not sure where to start 🤔 So mainly food was good we stayed in premier inn for night. Dinner we had had was good same as a breakfast we can't complain about lack of taste. But unfortunately waiting time for starters with very few tablets was a bit unusual. Waiting over 45 minutes 😴 for only to be asked if we are ready for puddings ? A bit of disappointment Otherwise service was fine Thanks

Waited at wait to be seated area. Young lad who came said have you booked I said no offered a slot mid morning despite there being plenty of empty seating. He has absolute zero customer service. I have never had to book before and quite clearly his attitude was appalling

Waiting to be seated Waiting to be served. Waiting a very long time for food 1hour when the place was quiet, food came Luke warm . I had the mixed grill where I have seen more meat on a mcds burger. The gammon was 50% fat. Asked for no peas but were some on the plate hiding under the eggs. It was that bad a teenage boy was crying because he was that hungry Waiting. When asked staff they didn't seem to know anything about when food would come. Definitely give this a miss if you want to keep your sanity.

We booked breakfast here and we had a very lovely experience. The staff, very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is very relaxed with lovely music on the background. Food is freshly cooked and delicious. They have a variety of products for everyone. Overall experience was more than we could want. (A little side note, the mugs were stained and some not wash properly). The staff Louise, Sarah and Em, were so professional, warm and welcoming. Amazing family atmosphere ❤️

We prebooked our table for a thursday 1800. We arrived 1750 and shown to our table. The host said table number order at bar when your ready and disappaered. Kids knew what they wanted so ordered pretty quickly but waited one hour for the food! The place wasn't heaving either.... atmosphere was frosty as plenty of families were fuming on the lateness of their food. 1 table of 6 had 4 People's food and 2 had to wait over an hour for it. Dessert only took 10mins. But finishing on a Positive the food was nice and the fish was the length of the plate. Don't think we'll be coming back...

Food was terrible, boiled bacon, watery scrambled eggs, Burnt hash browns, barely cooked Sausages. Staff unwelcoming didn't bother to even seat us down or check to see if we were happy with our food. Plates, cups and cutlery not cleaned properly and over priced food!

I ordered a cheeseburger and got the same size burger as my son who had one from the kids menu. The waiting time for the main menus was reasonable, but we waited more than 45 minutes for dessert... Conclusion: we will not come back here again.

Came here in march cold food. Again in July it has gone right down . Items of food not on plate , Very Very small portions ( mash under pie didn’t even see it) Booked a table got there no food, what the hell happened it used to be where we went for the last 12 years but never again, manager didn’t give a damn. If I could give -0stars I would have done no reply from brewer fayre after an email totally disappointed and will never go back.who ever is the manager now needs sacking .

Another 40 minute wait to be served. That's 2 brewer's fayre places in as many weeks that have put me off using them for meals by the time between being seated to getting to order.

Rude staff, said no tables available although there was more than 10 free. When asked did they know where could we eat , they just shrugged

Apart from one young lady, every staff member was sour faced and rude. They looked like they didn't want to be there and had zero customer service skills, honestly it felt being in a Karen's diner. The service was slow, everything was sticky and the food took ages to arrive, the only saving grace was that it was cheap. Oh and for some reason they had a single lemon floating in gold fish bowl filled with really mearky water on the bar.

I wouldn't recommend this place. Ring up and asked for a table for 3 people. Got told restaurant had plenty of spaces. Got told no need to reserve. After arriving. Waited 10 mins. Just to be told. No more walk-in. After i said i rung up and asked for table. Lady just walked away and served behind the bar. So i believe it must have been the lady on phone. Completely wasted my time. Very rude staff. Expect to wait a long time for your food. 1 staff member taking food orders and 10 customer waiting to place orders.

Brewers is really good for a nice sit-down meal with family! They are kid friendly, with a kid's menu and play area, and the staff are also quite friendly. The food is lovely, however last time I visited there was a small shortage but it's natural! The establishment was also moderately clean. Only downside can be business and the volume of it all <3

Stayed next door at the Premier Inn so went there for 3 breakfasts and 1 dinner. The indoor playground they had was a big hit with the kids and the food was decent but the positives ended there. On every breakfast visit, the majority of the "clean" plates, cups and bowls were filthy. And not just a little but some with huge pieces of food residue. I can't understand the attitude of the staff to regularly not bother to clean plates. As for the dinner, we had to wait 2 hours for our meal. The pub wasn't even that busy! Watched multiple tables complain and leave without their food. In fairness, they comped us a round of drinks as an apology.

If I could give this place 0 I would, been going for years but this year OMG! Well where to start we wnt for meal they was 10 of us but did in 3 groups due to diffre t families paying, well my aunti had over her families order 2 mixed grills pie mash peas and gravey. And a rib chi Ken combo. I dunno if the chief dosnt k ow what each meal contains or they was running low on food, but the 2 mixed grills came out with no onion rings, no tomatoes, when asked a staff member we got absolutely ridiculous looks, moa d and grunts, and he walked away, the pie mash and peas was literally 1 spoon of mash and 1 spoon of peas and the pie was all burnt at the bottom it looked like it had been in a microwave for too long and burnt and hard inside of the bottom.the pie. The rib combo was ok just not enough sauce very dry. So that was my aunties, I then ordered 2 Smothered chicken meals a mixed grill and a kids spaghetti bolognaise, and 2 chciken starters and a curry. At the till the women who served us said would you like your starters with your mains as there a 45 minute wait between food so I said yes please, the starters came out but no other food so we aye our starters, an was still waiting 30 minutes had gone since we had eaten our starters so I went and asked a member of staff please can you tell me where the rest of the good is please, once again a mumble under breathe a huff and off he went he came back and said they was being plated up 25 minutes later after asking that member of staff our food came out, but once again no onion rings and tomatoes on the mix grill, the 2 Smothered chicken no bacon no bbq sauce, the curry had 3 piece of chicken in the whole curry. The only thing that was right was the spaghetti bolognaise, so asked the staff again who said very bluntly anything else wrong, so at this point my blood was boiling asked for manager, who came out the back and I told him whY had gone on with everything, who said well have you got everything now and I said no still waiting on onion ring tomatoes bacon and bbq sauce for Smothered chicken he brought them out, bacon been warmed uo in microwave as the saucer was absolutely dripping with fat and to hot to touch, the onion rings cold, and no tomatoe bit wants going back up again, so I eventually set down to eat my cold food, and my Don was sat in his high chair eating his bplognaise next thing his spaghetti is on the floor as the clips on the high chair had broke and his tea went all over the floor, I asked a member of staff if I could have something yo clean it up with I got the most dirtiest look ever, the manager came over and said we will sweep that up, so I asked is there any chance we can have another and we will pay again as not bothered its just £5 he rolled his eyes at the whole table, and said I will get the chef to cook him another one it will be 2 minutes, which it literally was but was slapped up in a bowl, that had spaghetti all down its side underneath like they couldn't be bothered, we let my Don finish his tea but we will definitely not be returning, if the restraunt is under staffed they shouldn't take online bookings,

Waited over an hour for main course. Staff were rude when I complained. Cancelled my order and got a refund. Will never go back here again. Awful place

Disgusting! Turned up to watch the Euro final table booked at 7.15 for 8.00 ko. At 7.05 we were informed the place would close at 9.00 (half time in the football) the table was booked requesting a seat to watch the football and the website says the place closes at 10.30pm on Sunday. Spoke to the manageress who was full of attitude insisting the place closes at 9.00 on Sunday. We had a holiday strategically planned encompassing the cup final to have our plans destroyed. Absolute shambles.

Absolutely shocking! I have been going to this Brewers Fayre for over 10 years and I can honestly say tonight’s food and service was the worst . Portion size was shameful, part of the meals was missing off the plates, and it was cold.

Firstly, got turned away for not booking, fair enough. Booked a table following Sunday for a carvery at 4pm, got there and told there wasn't enough meat left and they were closing the carvery. Very disappointed as website says carvery 12- 6pm. Bad management of the kitchen i thought,lost our custom of 5 people and 9 people behind me. Never going again.

Myself husband daughter and granddaughter went to Brewers Fayre Hayle Cornwall ,we arrived at 1.30pm on Thursday 4th July for lunch there was an emergency happening out side one member of Brewers staff was in an attendance plus members of the public until an ambulance arrived ,so we totally understood why someone told just to grab a table .We ordered our food which came to just over £60,00 which i thought was good as 4 of us were eating at this time if there was more than 15 diners i would be surprised ,the food came at about 2.10 very small portions and i mean very small and just warm but the service just got worse my granddaughter said she would like a dessert chocolate brownie with ice cream we ordered at about 2.30 my daughter had a appointment at 3.30 in Penzance so when the dessert had not arrived at 2.50 i spoke to the barman and explained about the appointment i will go and check by 2.59 my husband went to say if it did not arrive asap we would like a refund for the dessert it came at 3.05 we had to leave most of it as there just was not enough time for my granddaughter to eat it i have to say the barman was excellent going into the kitchen( by the way we could see one of the chef's leaning on his elbows on the kitchen table ) and was embarrassed and very apologetic but for the amount we spent it was very poor food and service and hopefully someone will take this on board .

We waited an hour for our food and when it arrived my sirloin steak was inedible! What a disappointment 😞

Great pub, very welcoming, a slight delay with 2 out of 4 meals but well communicated.

1 person dealing with carvery and drinks queue, while other staff seemed oblivious to number of people waiting.

We had breakfast here on a Saturday morning as it was my parents last day on their holiday, so in effect what’s known as “change over day” meaning a lot of tourists going home that day - this is important because there was actually a queue outside the doors for this place with people getting turned away!! Luckily my Dad had the foresight to pre-book a few days before so we breezed on in! The cooked breakfast 🍳 is buffet style where you can just keep going back for more if you like. I didn’t, but you can! The food is ok, for the price you can’t really grumble. Unfortunately timing meant I got the last of everything before it was refreshed so the bacon was a bit stiff, eggs a bit dried out but it was ok. I had a couple of small glasses of orange juice however it was empty several times I went over to get a drink. Staff seemed a bit stressed all looking like they’d rather be somewhere else! I forgot to take pics, sorry!

Had a fabulous time when visiting the restaurant. Food was prompt, tasty and well presented. The service was second to none, really friendly courteous and lovely staff who went over and beyond for us. Thank you BF team it really made our evening.

Ordered 2 mains, 1 starter and a kids 3 course meal at 1.43pm. Had to wait nearly 40 minutes just for the one adult starter and kids starter, which consisted of chicken goujons and some tortilla chips. An hour later and STILL hadn't received our mains. What makes it worse is the fact that it wasn't even overly busy, maybe 7 or 8 other tables. Not best pleased as this isn't the first time we've been waiting ages for our food here

Absolutely appalling serve and food. Tiny portions and it took forever for one of our party to get her food. When it did turn up it was wrong. This happened to most of the people. We asked a question about take away puddings, we are still waiting for the answer but we are home now so dont think we will get one. NOT GOING BACK!!!!!

Great for families accommodating large groups when prebooked all food came out together and tastes delicious

I’ll keep this short because I really can’t be bothered to waste more time on this place. - Bad service, very slow and rude. - Food tasted burnt. Staff seemed in a mood. - High chairs look like they should have been binned years ago. - Carvery was low stock and had to wait ages to restock. - Kids pudding took ages to come out. Lady came out to us at 5 pm saying they need table back in 15 mins, when we told her we would of left ages ago if the service was faster as we were still waiting for the ice cream at that point. She didn’t say anything and then just brought the ice cream, 5 mins later. I’d avoid at all costs until the service gets better. Such a shame really as it’s a nice venue if it was looked after better.

My dog wasn't allowed to be inside so we had to go outside area which is a disgrace. Was told to order at the bar & wasnt even offered any menus. Had to wait as no one was serving behind the bar. Outside, Litter everywhere, food left on tables & seagulls came & ate all leftovers. So if we did eat I envisaged we would have to fight them off! Ashtrays full on tables. Tables had dried food on them & not even cleaned. My dog is 10x cleaner than this. What they called the restaurant had mismatch furniture that looked older than me.Decided against eating!!!!Overgrown weeds everywhere!! Very neglected for people to dine out there!!!

Great place, great food, just lack of staff mean that you have to go to the bar and order your food and given glasses to get your own drinks, not very good if you are disabled with walking sticks.

Absolute joke of a place. Nobody in there and told they can’t accommodate any walk-ins for another 2hrs, really…….its dead. Walk in and it’s like you are a complete inconvenience to them. Brewers Fayre, you need to look after customers not turn them away.Judging by the bad reviews on here you can’t really afford to turn away customers. We ended up down the road at the Copper house inn which was excellent.

Disappointed went for breakfast and was told only bookings for breakfast as staff shortage. For such a big concern I was amazed. Ended up at asda and was plesently surprised it was very good, also no where near the price of brewers..

Couldn't book online. Turned up at 8.15 and asked for a table for 1, only to be told "unless I've booked, we can't give you a table". When I said you can't book, I was told that the booking system had been turned off. She told me "we can't let you in because we are fully booked ". I pointed out that there were only 6 people in the pub, and she said " oh well we're short staffed. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE

Went here this evening for 5pm, (5th June 2024) it wasn't very busy, we ordered our meal & it took 35 mins to be served to our table, which isn't the usual quick service we've had before at various Brewers Fayre. We finished our meal which was good for the money & we waited for the plates to be taken away & dessert to be served as we had already paid & another 30 mins went by, we asked 3 different members of staff within another 15 mins & still no response. Eventually the 3rd member of staff listened & it finally came. The service was extremely slow this evening & the people next to us got up & walked out. Maybe too busy after 5.30 for the cheaper deal until 6pm & not enough staff!

So to preface this, we booked for a carvery on the Sunday as none of us wanted to cook, when we arrived (20 mins early) the greeter looked visibly disgusted that we arrived early and was told "someone's on your table so you'll have to wait".... so fast forward 35mins and we sit down to then go and get our food... omg what a horrible selection, the chef was sweating profusely while cutting the 3 selections of meat, the Yorkshire puddings were so soft (not in a good way) the roast potatoes were literally mush, the veg tasted off and were again mushy. The biggest gripe though was the table was sticky 😳 big no no for me.

Don't cater for people with small appetites, children's menu only available to under 12 years. Had a member of party with dementia who enjoys small simple meals, was told only for children even tho we ordered 5 adult main meals & drinks, thought a large company would cater for all, clearly not, shame

Had food here on our recent trip to Cornwall. We were seated quickly and were advised that we are to order at the bar. There was one person serving on the bar, and the queue was at least 7-10 customers long. Surely someone could have jumped in and helped, as the lady looked quite stressed. Come to think of it, most of the staff looked stressed. Nevertheless, the food arrived relatively quickly and was okay. Probably won't return, and probably just caught them on a bad day

On a journey towards Land's End, we stopped off for a spot of late lunch. Food was tasty and filling, and there was no room for pudding 😋 Friendly helpful staff.

The lady that directed us to our table was nice, they didn't tell us that we had to go up and order our food so we was waiting for a while, the lady that was behind the counter was rude and very blunt as she made us feel very uncomfortable with her tone of voice and attitude. We had to wait a while for out food to come over, over an hour, when the food came there where a few burnt bits on the plate and the food also came back cold, they only had diet and zero sugar fizzy drinks, the ice was small not a normal cube size ice cube. Toilet roll was all over the floor when I went in and stuck to my foot when I came out. Only a small bit of bacon on the cheeseburger not even a full big slice of bacon. There was more fat on the steak than meat which was un edible, the portion sizes where smaller so not good value for money. Food was well overpriced, you can get more food somewhere else for that much amount of money. Will definitely not be going back there ever again, and the staff had miserable faces on apart from the lady that directed us to our table.

Took ages to get our order and even more to make it though it wasn’t busy (literally two tables) the guy who delivered our food to the table was very polite. The food on itself was quite dry (had a bacon and cheese burger with fries and coleslaw salad) the buns were obviously unfrozen,the chips very dry and the coleslaw salad warm. The meat on the burger was alright. I know you shouldn’t expect a lot from a pub since everything is frozen and not fresh but the prices are too expensive for the quality of the food and it shouldn’t take ages to take an order. The waitresses (both were girls) were eating and chatting which I understand because they probably were on their break but they shouldn’t both take a break at the same time when people are waiting for ages…

Place was quiet. Club sandwich, (piece of chicken not cooked right through). 6 staff all standing around in group, (chatting, laughing, shouting). While customers tables needed attending. Definitely going down hill.

Worst breakfast I've ever had.I wasn't expecting much from it,however the basics of eggs, bacon and sausages should be available and cooked decently.the bread and crumpets were stale and smelled of mould,barely any eggs left,fried eggs were unedible they were like rubber.the hot food was overall barely warm.the tables, cutlery,plates all full of dirt,marks everything seemed dirty.I wouldn't recommend to ever try going there,we ended up going to mcdonalds which is 2 min walk from hotel.

The worst breakfast the bread and crumpets was stale the fried eggs was hard dried and cold . Bacon was cold and scrambled egs dried and cold. Luckily was a Mcdonald next to it.

Fantastic Sunday roast carvery highly recommended, lovely friendly staff and service.

We came for breakfast without a booking and we're accommodated by Elle, Sarah, Jo, Chet and Nat. Lovely grub, friendly staff and convenient buffet style. Only feedback would be to look at including veggie sausages.

Top food for what you pay, go here every week with lads from work for the breakfast buffet and never leave disappointed. Elle, Sarah, Jo and chef nat are a credit to the place with quality service, Cheers guys

Go for lunch regularly ,pre booked as always for large table , get there no table big enough have to drag a oval table over to join to square table , couldn’t get in or out , so had to ask to be moved and had to then drag a table over and sort the table between us , then by time food comes out (over a 40 min wait )dry cold as clearly been sitting under lamp long time ,i like my food hot so asked for it to be changed was fish and chips when it came back had clearly took Same plate of food and re cooked it so dry and disgusting fish yet the mushy pea was still same cold and dried over . I would understand if it was busy or booked out but was not , also the high chairs are dirty not cleaned properly so had to wipe and clean before put baby in . Very disappointing as like to go for lunch there with the family

Cold food, had to eat it as we were starving after waiting 45 mins.

Worst place to ever come to! Staff are absolutely rude to customers. Unfortunately I had to put one star otherwise I wouldn't have put any! The wait for food was disgraceful! Waiting ages for food for the oder to be wrong and have to wait again for them to fix it! No communication at all! No listening skills! AVOID AT ALL COST!!

I'm sorry I have no idea why people rate this place more than one star. I have given it so many chances in the last 2 years to prove me wrong but time and time again I've been met with poor service and even poorer cold food. The staff are not rude just clueless and terribly slow service. I have worked in the service industry for years but would never ignore someone waiting at the bar for more than 10 minutes when there was only 2 people at the bar , please train your staff to at least acknowledge that they have been seen and will be served shortly. Also if your tills are "down" do not serve drinks and then say you can't take money or food orders " for a while" then be overheard saying it could be hours. I tried to pay cash for drinks and leave to get food elsewhere and was told I cant pay due to tills being down. I will not be held hostage so gave £10 cash for a £5.50 drinks bill , as I couldnt get change the staff assumed I'd tipped them , no love I was paying ransom so I could escape. The reason I gave you so many chances was because my recently deceased mother found you a handy stop off for food when returning from hospital appointments. My advice swerve at all costs and go to mc Donald 'next door for a quick cheap and way tastier snack. I am local and sorry to say would never reccomend you to anyone until huge strides have been made to staff training and food quality.

Excellent on all fronts; clean and tidy, very polite and helpful staff, good food well cooked and presented, reasonably priced with regular special promotions.

Waited 50 min for food and just like other reviews I feel like it was forgotten about and would not of came if I'd not of asked, woman behind the bar was rude when I did ask if she knew how long it was going to take with a straight NO, I waited a long time again after this but food arrived whilst I was waiting at the bar with my card and receipt wanting a refund, wished I'd of got my money back sooner as the food was disgusting. Never again.

Place was empty, had waited a hour for food, asked how long it would be at the bar, staff were rude, I waited longer, got fed up, decided I no longer wanted it, got in line to demand a refund and then was gutted when the food I no longer wanted got brought to the table while I was waiting, was in 2 minds to still get refunded as we had already decided on the near by McDonald's instead because we wanted to make it to a venue to see a show. So wished I'd of gone ahead and got my money back instead of going back to the table. Food was horrible, made me feel sick, 2 key words here, the 1st is AVOID, if your unlucky and find yourself here the 2nd word you need to know is REFUND.

Very nice food well cooked good price good service good timing

Came with my partner and 2 young children. Kids and us all thoroughly loved our meals. The chicken and pulled ham pie is definitely recommended (but I and my partner had this). Staff were ever so friendly, especially Ellie B who was working in the play area. So helpful too.

Not a very good experience at this Brewers Fayre. We had no greeting and had to wait over 20 minutes, without anyone saying anything to us, there was a massive queue of people and the phone was constantly ringing. Lots of people were moaning. They opened the soft play late and the man ignored myself and another family when we asked about when it was opening. I will not visit this brewers fayre again, especially on a Sunday. It was far too stressful and ruined our Sunday. The staff I came across were very rude when questions were asked, especially one of the servers, as 2 other people mentioned that he was rude. The layout was far too small - too many tables squashed in a small space.
