If you are thinking of having “a do” this is the place to seriously consider. We held an 80th birthday party for 22 people at the Lodge. The wonderful staff prepared a celebration buffet for us and our guests. The food was excellent and plentiful. The bar provided a good selection of alcoholic drinks, soft drinks, teas, coffee etc. Nothing was too much trouble for our two hosts. The atmosphere was amazing. Everyone of our guests young to old enjoyed the evening.

This is such an amazing place! The staff are amazing, so lovely nothing is ever too much! I planned a works Christmas Party here, it was the smoothest process from beginning to end! The food, drinks, the environment is absolutely amazing both through the day as a cafe and during the night as a private hire. I couldn’t recommend them anymore!

We held my mums 75th birthday in the upstairs function room. We had ordered brunch of bacon sandwiches and tea&coffee. This did not disappoint. The food was amazing, nothing was too much trouble and our family and friends had a fantastic time. The staff are exceptional the cost was very reasonable and I'd highly reccomend.

Went for a walk in Bowling Park with friends and dogs and then went into the cafe- it was a wet horrible day and we were warmly greeted dogs and humans- even offered doggie towels for the dogs! It’s a really lively cafe with a very comfortable atmosphere. Had great coffee and delicious sausage sandwiches ! A real hidden gem!

I imagine the recipe is a trade secret but these are the best cheesy chis ever! Closed doors with limited signage make an old Victorian building look so closed, but this is definitely open and serving excellent food.

This is a beautiful cafe which has a charm to it that you usually only find in small villages in rural England. This is running as a community asset to give something back to the place where it located rather than to get rich. I just love places like this.

Good breakfast, lovely setting and friendly staff. Definitely recommend a visit. We’ll be back. The dog is going wonder why he’s getting so many walks in the park

Only living 20 minutes away I never thought about a visit well boxing day proved a short run out to Bowling. Parking easy outside the entrance gates here located the Lodge Cafe i think its run by volunteers so its a nippy day a walk around the park (1 mile blue circuit) then sample the cafe ... although outdoor only seating available due to the currant restrictions we had mulled blueberry £2.20 well you've got to be in the festive spirit so to speak. Nice friendly staff attached a few photos of our wander around the perimeter of the park

Located right next to the finish of Bowling Park parkrun this was the obvious place for breakfast. As it was the first parkrun the staff maybe didn’t know what was about to hit them but they coped admirably. I had to check to make sure the price of three breakfast sandwiches and teas / coffees was correct (apparently it was) which was excellent value. Really good food and a really good environment. Every parkrun needs a cafe like this one.

I have walked passed this cafe a couple of times but only got chance to visit today and I am so glad we did! As soon as we walked in we were greeted by lovely staff and a nice atmosphere. Me and my mum shared the tuna toastie and it was so tasty. The almond slice was lovely too. It is also reasonably priced not too expensive and the money goes to a good cause helping young people in the community. Everything was very clean and staff were really accommodating and friendly. I am so glad i have discovered this place we will definately be visiting again.

Its a great place to have food, snacks, coffee & cake. Very friendly, for people, families and dogs. Our area and community benifits from places like this.

A new cafe run by volunteers provides excellent food, nicely served and at reasonable prices. Good menu. On the downside, it was a bit draughty and cold, but I'm sure they will fix that

For all that I have been a Bradfordian for 60 years I was unaware of this delightful cafe. It was a very windy, cold day and my friend and I wanted to get out for some fresh air. I searched on the internet and came up with this place. As soon as we walked in I liked it. My friend and I both had an English breakfast which was very tasty and shared a lovely piece of caramel shortbread. The staff were friendly and courteous and the cafe had a very convivial atmosphere. We’ll definitely be going again when the weather improves and we can also enjoy a walk in Bowling Park.

Such a gorgeous cafe hiding in bowling park. My friend and I came with her little boy and enjoyed a gorgeous breakfast of avocado toast with halloumi - even managed to do if gluten free for my friend! Coffee is amazing and we shared one of the caramel shortbreads which are the best Iv ever tasted :). Lovely area for children to play too which is always a bonus. Would definitely recommend to friends and family & will certainly be back soon!

Went to this wonderful cafe after our visit to Bolling Hall museum. Really enjoyed the coffee and bacon bun. The staff were warm and welcoming. The cafe very clean which has recently been decorated to a high standard. Good selection on the Menu, liked the idea of 'building your own breakfast'plus it caters for dogs.

Bought the bacon and Greek sausage at Otley market after sampling on the stall. These are amazing products. I have been trying to find nitrate free sausages for some time. All the research tells us that nitrates are harmful and I keep expecting them to be banned. Until this happens the onus is on the consumer to search them out!

Good food in a relaxed atmosphere above a local pub. He menu changes every month to a new “country”. So far I’ve tried Greek, Mexican and German. They were al excellent. Choice of three starters, three mains and three desserts. The food and the wine list are limited because the place is run by one, very talented, chef. The wines have all been delicious and each month they do a themed cocktail of the month. My wife assured me that these have been great as well. He restaurant opens Thursday to Sunday and I generally book via Facebook (you can phone as well)The food and wine are incredibly good value (£20 for three courses, £12-14 ish for the wine).Well worth seeking out
