Great food and friendly staff and a perfect pint . would recommend to anyone in need of a good bite and pint . They also have good deals all week

We hadn’t booked to eat on a Saturday evening but were quickly offered a table even though it seemed very busy. Food came out really quickly and was delicious .

Lovely breakfast cooked perfectly came out hot and well presented, fantastic staff everyone I seen was happy and smiling and greeted us with a morning or a hello. Would definitely be going back and highly recommend it to everyone

Came in for a few drinks after work and had a really great time. The drinks are fairly priced and the atmosphere is amazing.

I live in Bath and work in Avonmouth currently and the pub is convenient to break up my traffic jam home. Coming into a pub as a single person can be daunting, but I certainly didn’t feel that. A smile from Ellie for example and friendly service, along with an explanation of how the pub works in terms of ordering, the app, offers etc made a great welcome. I stop in now maybe 3 times a week as I feel comfortable, it is reasonably priced, food and beverage options are good, sport is on the TVs and the staff now use my name. I don’t write reviews but feel I should as it’s such a good pub. On one occasion I had a crumble for dessert and wanted it a little hotter (bit cold in the middle). I hate complaining but Jane the waitress was exceptional. ‘Of course we can do that, food should be hot, thank you for letting us make it right for you’. Perfect service. Sometimes the bar wait is a little long but I can always use the app. Good team there. I haven’t seen the managers ‘working’ but they run a good pub and the male partner always says hello, really good host. Please pass on my thanks. Well done

I have been to this pub on many occasions and have never had to return my dinner before tonight.. Furthermore I had to ask for our deserts 4 times before they were eventually brought out.. We were originally going to have a roast beef dinner but they didn’t have any beef so we ordered steak meals instead and mine tasted sour.. I also asked for a side order of mushrooms with my order but apparently the girl at the till didn’t put that through so we had to go without those too.. By the time my replacement meal had come out my husband had long finished his food.. All in all the whole experience was disappointing..

Awful. I didn’t have high hopes for the food but I didn’t expect a crusty dead fly stuck on the bottom of my friend’s daughters burger bun. The vegan burger was rock solid and inedible too. Their response was disappointing. It’s the first and last time we’ll be eating here.

Have been here around a dozen times in the last 3 months, mainly for breakfast. Very good price, generally the food has been good. Coffee machine has been broken on every visit though so no latte or cappuccino. Be nice if it’s fixed soon!!!
