Chester market is fabulous. It's got a nice vibe about it and the bar is fairly central to it all. It looks great and theyve a huge choice of spirits. I had Prosecco and they put a raspberry in which was nice. The chap behind the bar was lovely, there was a young woman behind the bar who wasn't so friendly hence the 4 stars. She wasn't rude, but she just wasn't friendly

Just amazing. The bartenders are really knowledgeable and know their stuff. It’s the perfect place to sit in the Market. The drinks are amazing and perfectly balanced. They were more than happy to adjust my amaretto sour to my personal taste and checked back on me after a few minutes to make sure it was to my liking and I loved it! I will definitely be returning and recommending to people

We went for a drink one time and vowed to return to try the menu. Last month it was was for a Sunday lunch. It was the better than any we’ve had anywhere else. So next time, we had the Out of Africa menu. Totally blown away. It’s more than just dining. And totally brilliant. Unique, friendly and good value. Recommended!

Attended Saturday night quiz. Arrived at 7:00pm. Started with a glass of red wine and Mediterranean platter followed by a to die for cheesecake( all food freshly cooked by Jason ( chef ) and the team. Wolfed the cheese cake down and realised I hadn't took a picture. Had a few more vino's during the quiz along with some banter with Jason and the regular customers. All tables were booked and nice to see a full house. Made a change to the average Saturday night and will certainly do it again. Would recommend to call in prior for some brekky or lunch to book quiz any day before or on Saturday. Quiz moved on quicker than your normal pub quiz which was great with the light banter and no typical interruptions from pub scene. Didn't win the quiz but enjoyed trying.

Our favourite place to come for brunch after football. The team, as always, went above and beyond with the orders for our family (all with different dietary requirements). The boys had the classic big breakfast with local products at a great price. I tried the weekend special eggs Benedict and it was amazing. The boys filled their boots. The girls enjoyed new things. The doorstop toast alone is worth the visit. Sadly, no room for my favourite one the menu - parsnip cake, but the cake-away option meant I could enjoy it later. We brought a friend for their first visit and she was blown away.

Visited many times and food is always good, hot and freshly cooked. Could I suggest that the raised part of the eating area could be made a 'no dogs' area as today I had to ask a diner to rein the lead of their dog in as it was sniffing around our table and my legs. Not what you want when eating your meal. There is plenty of room in the rest of the bar for people to sit with dogs.
