I'm sorry, cute place but omg, how vile and disappointing :( Tea luke warm, cake tasted stale and musty. Staff were uninterested and the place smelled of damp and wet dog. Lovely menu but seriously can't see how rhey can deliver what they write as it was just filthy and gross. Shame as I love my vegan food, but had better in 'normal- places. Will never return

Nice little cafe (hidden gem) Didn’t really notice before thought it was a shop until I notice the board outside. Small cafe, but I managed to get a seat without a problem, very nice atmosphere. Cake were very nice tried the top selling one (chocolate orange) but a different variety offered. Even through the menu was known off the top of the servers head maybe a menu would be good to have. Thanks will be going back again.

lovely tea room set inside a shop full of beautiful things. The cakes are to die for. As it gets cooler the log burner goes on, just cosy up and keep drinking tea !!

We visited a few days ago and received a really warm reception, there definitely is a lot of antiques and collectibles to choose from. Very interesting conversations with the owner. The drinks and cakes are beautiful, really good portions/sizes of drinks. Will definitely go back.

The tea room is set right in antique shop, so you can browse while you enjoy your meal, the soup is a favourite, with lovely crusty bread, and a nice cappuccino to wash it down, it’s got a faithful clientele, which for me is a good indication of what’s to come.

Once again visited this very nice little antique shop + cafe, enjoyed browsing the goods on displayed, whilst partaking of a coffee, the shop it’s self is a little Tardis, full to the brim with all sorts of things, free parking just across the road behind the chemists.

This cafe is situated in the local antique shop, we had a lovely dish of soup and a nice cuppa cappuccino, before browsing and finally emptying my pockets on the odd item or two, the shop and cafe are both well a visit, just expect to spend more than you bargained for, lots of lovely bits to tempt you.

This tiny place can't really decide what it is - antique shop or a cafe because it isn't big enough for both!! Everything is squashed in and people sat on top of each other, not a place for anyone who suffers from claustrophobia!!!!

Looking for somewhere just off the M1 to have a quick break and found this little gem. Very warm welcome, lovely coffee and delicious fruit toast served on vintage plates. Surrounded by antiques contributed to a really nice break. Recommended.

We regularly visit this little gem as there is always something new to look at. The owner is very knowledgeable and always gives a warm welcome. The tea and cakes are second to none and presented in a professional manner. This little shop is a credit to Dodworth High Street and all down to the hard work of the owner and his family.

Had a lovely afternoon looking in the shop which had some fantastic items in it. I could have spent all day in there. The coffee was very good and served in lovely china cups. The cake looked gorgeous. We will definitely try the cake next time we go. The owners are so friendly we were made very very welcome.

We were passing when we stumbled on this place, so glad we did! its such an interesting little place to visit, full of vintage and antique items, the only problem was i didn't bring enough cash on me to buy all the wonderful items! The cakes and coffees were delicious. unlike some places that claim their cakes are homemade, you could tell these were. It's run by a lovely family, who were very frendly to us, and it felt like we had been going there for years. Me and the wife will certainly be going back, and next time i'm going to make sure i can treat her to one of the lovely items on display. I really can't recommend this place enough. First class.

The four of us popped in on Saturday to have a browse. There are treasures to be found at every turn and has something for everyone. We weren't meant to be buying anything but left with a stunning table made with an old Singer sowing machine base, some plants for the garden and a teddy bear! The staff were superb and we plan to go back soon. You can even get a fresh coffee and a slice of cake! Well worth a visit.

Popped in on the recommendation from a friend. Lovely little place, and cracking cup of coffee. Chatted to the owners and they are just about to expand into the shop next door, they have great plans for their shop and we'll be heading back soon.

Best of both worlds Museum like displays you can buy. Tea and cake to enjoy on a cold winters day but planning a summer return to enjoy the outside too.

The exterior is quaint, a stereotypical shop, except the treasures hidden inside spill out onto the street and fill the window. Curious items sit on display; a wooden plane propeller, local pottery, crafts and art by local artists and jewelry.

Avoid like the plague ! Twice now this has happened where staff will have you standing for half an hour at a time and serve other people before you also when this was questioned the staff were extremely rude

We decided to go to Elsecar heritage centre on Sunday for a walk and a wander. It was crazy busy, and thought we would walk around the village. We dropped in on The Crown Inn, and was pleased to see such a nice cozy local pub still operating and serving good food. Next time we will pop in for a bite to eat. Well stocked beers and 3 pumps dedicated to guest beers. V.happy. Service was lovely and healthy banter and discussions with the locals. Keep up the great work.

Good range of food at reasonable prices. The venue is quite nice and the service was good. Plenty of people in there without being overcrowded so the atmosphere was good too.
