Lovely place in a beautiful location offering an amazing view. The new staff are extremely friendly and accomodating and the rooms are very comfortable and well kept. Absolutely splendid environment here

Booked twin room with my son, but was offered two next door rooms at no extra charge, with balconies, river and Brecon Beacons view. Amazing location and views and lovely rooms. New owners are a family who give fantastic service - they go above and beyond. Our every wish was anticipated. Dinner was of a very high standard. My son raved over his steak burger in particular. And his triple chocolate mousse! Thank you so much to all at the hotel.

the view is the only good thing about this place, the room was dirty, hair in the bath and the KETTLE (like how), the cups had stains the spoons, the bedsheets, it is not worth £99, simple cleaning isn't done, the bed was so soft a sluggish did not sleep good, the rooms don't look like the pictures, it all looks like hand me down furniture, the balcony looked like it was going to collapse from the chairs if you sat on them to the floors, it really is such a shame, could be a little beautiful gem but the owner don't seem to care, a big disappointment

The views are beautiful but this has to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I actually googled the worst hotel in Wales and expected to find this place listed. Dirty carpets and towels, and bed linen which had mold on was just the start of it. The room also had a horrible smell which they tried to disguise with 2 ambi pur plugins. When checking in I was told it's only pay at the property, even though it was a company booking which I had a receipt for. When checking out you have no where to drop your room key as the main building is locked in the mornings. I ended up leaving the key in the room door which was only clear as lots of other rooms had their keys like this.

Horrible experience!!! I'm trying to book a room and in the last 2 weeks I've rung more than 20 times, left few messages and sent emails. NOBODY HAS CONTACTED ME! Worst experience ever so far!

Love this place and the food. Was served by a wonderfully cheerful young lady called Dea (think that’s how you spell it) and we had the evening banquet. Lovely food, lovely atmosphere, only tiny issue
