A bit disappointed throughout my read as the reader mobile phone went off a few time which to wasn’t very professional and this was distracting see messages coming through on the phone

Tried to call and book a table for a Saturday evening. Could not get through as no one answered. So booked a table for 8.30pm via Facebook. Response came back in another language so did not understand what it said. Arrived at the restaurant to advise that the kitchen was closing in fifteen minutes and that they hadn't confirmed the booking. No apology just rude staff.

I visited on a friend's recommendation and met with Lee, I had a very thorough reading and at the time was a bit overwhelmed with the amount of information and the accuracy but later realised who some of the people were on speaking to my family. Lee was very reassuring and friendly and took time to explain things as she carried out the reading. The cafe has a lovely buzz and staff are welcoming and friendly. I will definitely be back and highly recommend a visit.

I had a great experience at Little Whispers, sometimes in life you just need to know your loved ones are there for you and this was definitely confirmed for me. Sorry I can’t remember your name, young man tall with dark hair, I was made to feel very comfortable and the reading I received made so much sense to me and how my life has been and what I need to do to help myself. Attended today and seen jacqui. Lovely warm place with lovely coffee too. No food due to Covid other than cake. Seen jacqui today after a colleague recommended her. Was totally sceptical beforehand but cannot believe the comfort her reading brought my family. Will return in 6 months

Visited whispers, amazing cake, disappointed with the reading. There was nothing said but felt they fished. The information given was everyday life that affects everyone. Left feeling deflated would not visit again. I was given a number or month and when it did not match, I was told to remember it as it might mean something. They would mention male or female with no details or information, but told to remember as it might mean something. Overall I was not told anything relevant or linked to my life. I left thinking i could have done that

Fantastic reading and the cake was delicious too , well worth a visit . I have been a few times now and have had different medium each time ,but will still be going back as it is great value for your money

had a lovely trip out, a friend had taken me as a wedding gift and a day just to relax and not think about wedding plans. Amazing little shop with such an interesting concept. I had no idea what was walking into as it was a surprise. Very friendly, everyone was happy to chat and welcome you. I think the girl was called Nicola that done my reading. I couldn't fault a single thing that was said, she was very accurate with everything she said. Very bubbly and outgoing young lady. Would recommend it to anyone. Even for the sceptical, its just a lovely day out.

My friend and I went here from a word of mouth recommendation and we were not disappointed. Lovely cup of tea and cake but also the reading was fab and we both came away feeling so much better. Would recommend it to anyone.

Fun half hour tea and a reading basic tea coffee cake or breakfast roll friendly staff hard to find as down a little side street advisable to book if wanting a reading can just pop in for coffe

Had a lovely coffee & cake whilst having a reading done. Staff were nice & pleasant. Happy with result.

Visited today with 3 friends. We were made aware that there would be a wait due to the cafe being busy. However a member of staff came over promptly to ask us what we would like to eat/drink. We are our cake and had our coffee/tea/hot chocolates. When we were finished Stephen came to start our readings. We had a table of 4 so it was suggested that we split into 2 groups of 2 which meant that our readings were more personal. Stephen read myself and my friend. He was very accurate, made us feel at ease and had a good laugh with us. Thank you for our readings.

Always a good reading when we go here, atmosphere is lovely and the ladies are very welcoming, it's always busy.

Visited on Sunday 29th April with friends, amazing reading by Donna, fantastic place, so friendly and warm, will definitely visit again soon.

Okay, this cafe has a twist in that you get your tea leaves read at the end. The tea was excellent, the cake beautifully moist and lovely and the reading was fun. All told for 2 of us it cost £27.00 but the fact is we enjoyed ourselves and have a lovely cuppa. Fun, different and something new for us so Yes I’d recommend it!

My wife and I have been to little whispers before and had a good reading which was very accurate. We went back again a couple of days again the tea and cakes iare very good the people are nice , but the reading we got this time wasn,t a reading it was a young man with cards telling-us about ourselves there was absolutley no point what so ever ,my wife who is really into this was bored and I could see the disappointment in her face. It was a total waste of £27, what the young lad was saying to us was inaccurate and basically rubbish which was really disappointing considering we had a good reading the last time. So if you are going to the cafe be aware of who is doing your reading, ever other table was having a proper reading that’s what made it extra disappointing. Don’t know if I would go bak which is a shame.

Visited this cafe with my sister after recommendation from a friend of hers. We have recently had a family bereavement and were looking for some reassurance and comfort.

Honestly im not a spiritual person and im not into anything like that but i was very taken back by many things that were said! Very talented friendly people.

First visit there with daughter. Had to wait for 40 mins but was worth it. Table booking recommended. Has clare for our reading. Spot on.!

Staff very friendly but the cakes we had were a few days old and very dry. think the idea of the cafe is great but should take care about wee things too like cleaning up tables and brushing the floor now and then.

Frecuentemente me visita este café pequeño y encantador. Es una buena taza de té y muy sabroso para hornear y el personal siempre fue muy amable y acogedor. Teniendo en cuenta que han sido unas cuantas veces, mis lecturas han sido diferentes cada vez y nunca generalizados. El café puede llegar a estar muy concurrida y se puede esperar un rato por una mesa, pero no pueden evitar, es sólo una pequeña cafetería y personal lo mejor que puede. He aprendido a ir temprano por el café de apertura para evitar una larga espera para una mesa.

Encantador pequeño café, el personal era muy amable. Café y pastel eran preciosas y mi lectura era perfecto. Sin duda nos alojaremos de nuevo allí.

El personal es muy servicial y amable. El ambiente es bonito y tranquilo. Las tartas fabby. Mi único consejo es reservar una mesa como puede llegar a estar muy concurrida.

Hay un aviso escrito en creta, en una de las paredes, de Little susurros cualquier negatividad no es muy acogedor. Bastante bien, porque es un lugar para "ser" y "deja vivir".

The atmosphere is very relaxing, welcoming everyone is so friendly.... The cakes are fabulous....Had a reading with linda scott it was spot on and also comforting to have special people looking out for me...Highly recommend even if you only go for tea and cake

My sister and I lost my brother very tragically 2 years ago and since then we have been trying to reach him through mediums. This has not worked for whatever reason and as a recommendation from a friend we decided to try Little Whispers. We booked for a private reading which did not last more than 5 minutes each as Stephen the medium and owner was very honest with us and said he could not read us. This was incredibly rare and he was very frustrated. He then tried to read our tea leaves along with another 3 mediums but no one was getting anywhere, it was definitely us not them. They all stood up and decided it was not going to happen that day and asked if we could we come back the following Wednesday to meet with another medium who only worked part time there. We left without paying a penny, they wouldn't even let us pay for our tea and cake. We returned today and met with Linda and Steven. Without going into huge detail my brother came through very quickly and a lot of things were answered and verified, we were there for nearly 2 hours and we both feel now some closure and hopefully can now start to grieve properly. I have worked in catering and hospitality for 20 years and I have never seen service like that in a five star hotel, it was unbelievable and their patience and kindness never forgotten, thank you all so much, what an extraordinary place.

Just had a private reading and was completely overwhelmed. The reading was so accurate and very emotional, it was as if the woman (sorry I cannot remember the name) had known me all my life and knew exactly what was going on in my life at the moment. It has really helped me to deal with ongoing issues. I would recommend a visit. The staff were very welcoming and made you feel at ease and the shop has recently been extended and was very busy, next time I visit I will definitely be having the cake which looked amazing.

I went to little whispers on Tuesday, only 13 days since I had lost my mum, I had to wait almost 3 hours before my reading started but it was worth every minute, not only did she tell me she had an old lady with her but she went on to tell me her name and later in the reading she also told me she had been in a nursing home with dementia, she also told me dad was there showing her a cemetery and that I was either to visit it or had been there recently, I had been there the day before. Lifted me so much and helped me through a very hard time, I have told everyone I meet about this place. Thanks x

Thought we'd pop in for a quick cake, cuppa, and tea leaf reading one morning. Ended up spending nearly the whole day there: about 90 minutes waiting for a table, and another 90 waiting for a reading! We arrived at 11am and didn't leave until 2:45pm, which is a bit unacceptable. It didn't help that we were forgotten about: we could hear the male owner giving the women into trouble because nobody was reading our table. It's very frustrating because we do have other things to do with our days: my cousin had to pick her daughter up from primary school at 3:15pm and my dad had a doctors appointment which he ended up being late for. Eventually two readers came over: one read me and my dad, the other read my aunt and cousin. Our reader was okay... a couple of things she said to my dad just didn't ring any bells with him. She didn't really go into much detail with me, apparently my cup was making her a bit emotional! In the end she suggested we get a private reading but it was a bit of an anti-climax after 3 hours of waiting. My aunt had to get three readers out because none of them were getting an accurate reading from her tea leafs. In the end they had to read a tarot card. It was really average.If you really want to go I'd recommend arriving around lunchtime as the queues weren't as long. You'll end up leaving two hours later instead of nearly four!

Came here today after months of trying to get time to go, it's a busy place and so we needed to come during the week and in the morning, so summer holidays are perfect. Ordered a nice cup of tea and a delicious wee cake, after waiting about 15 minutes a girl came over and said she would do our reading. I was sceptical as she was so young, but how wrong I was. The girl, having never met me, gave me a very accurate reading, I was very impressed. £9.50 for a cup of tea, cake and a reading, absolute bargain.

i have going to the little whispers tea room in west calder west lothain scotland where you can go in n have acup of tea n a cake n then your tea leafs read buy them it all can be done with coffee if u not atea person n fi not ahot drink person they will do you aone card read for you ur tea cake n reading is £9.80 and i wood defo say is very much worth the money they are very friendly when u arrive n its avery busy little cafe u can allso make apt to have afull card reading buy them i wood very much recomend anyone who is into in tea n card reading to pop in for one i was realy inpress with ours that i going back for a card one .

Me and my two daughters attended a few days ago after hearing how great this place is for readings. We sat for 90 minutes until a table became available. I had a soft drink and my two daughters had hot chocolates and cake and then after waiting another hour a female reader came over to our table. She asked lots of questions while looking in the hot chocolate cups and she gave all three of us generalised readings and we left very disappointed indeed. We also sat and listened to other readers asking other customers questions and listened to customers give too much away and the readers build on that. Nice cake and drinks but they're not psychic readers that's for sure.

lovely lemon drizzle cake, moist, peanut butter cake dry. Had great reading. Wasn't expecting my son to come forward since he only died 6wks ago. Was very accurate about my son. Will be going back later date.

When first opened this tea/ coffee/physic reading was fairly priced,but nearly doubled their prices.

First of all, great scone, and a lovely cup of tea. No problems there. Sat for 2 hours in total, before my 'reading' <cough cough>. Im an honest and open person. So first young guy comes out, sits down, does a finger tremble, makes an inaccurate statement, I say "No, thats not correct", and off he walks in a huff. Out comes guy number 2. Apologises for the other one, saying he cant read me and has asked this second guy to try. Second guy the same, nothing. I had already been there over 2 hours at this point, and had to leave. No reading, but i was charged the full price. I didnt argue, by that point i just wanted to leave the place and start living again. Honestly, far from impressed. They 'read' tea-bags and hot chocolate, enough said. The few genuine and talented readers of this world must get furious with charlatans like this. Never mind, good business model while it lasts.

What a great money making business they have here. The place is always packed. Nice cake and hot drinks but very generalised readings if you ask me with them asking far too many questions. We're into spiritualism but won't be going back here. Was very disappointed.

This cafe is a very relaxing, peaceful sanctuary. Not only that but you get great holistic therapies and readings done too. Not to mention the great items that are available to buy from the shop as well, from Incense sticks to ornamental angels. I would definitely recommend this cafe to anyone.

This is a must go and experience....the atmosphere is amazing and relaxing the staff are so friendly and welcoming. For £5 I got a cup of tea and an experience of a lifetime. The young male reader came over and explained how to display my leaves in my cup for him to read. Pretty much instantly my granda came through and I was told things that genuinely nobody else would could have guessed! I was gobsmacked as I usually take what readers say with a pinch of salt but I left amazed by the accuracy of what I was told! A good ten minute reading and left with a feeling of relaxation and happiness.......not shabby for a fiver :)

This was an absolutely brilliant experience and complete and utter value for money! Paying £5 for your chosen hot drink and DELICIOUS home baked cake was value enough never mind the added 10 minute reading we got as well.It was such a touching experience and everything we were told was absolutely spot on. I would highly recommend anyone to go. The service was outstanding and the atmosphere warm and welcoming.

I had been in this week cafe once before and liked it. So on my second visit I went and had some hand reflexology, it was absolutely wonderful and I would definitely recommend it if you do not like your feet being touched.Little Whispers is a spiritual gift shop, coffee shop and holistic therapy centre in the main street in West Calder. They offer all kinds of treatments such as reiki, hopi ear candle and massage to name but a few. All at reasonable prices.But if you don't want a treatment just pop in for a coffee or tea and try one of the homemade delicious cakes. The staff are very friendly and make you feel so welcome. I will certainly be going back.Open from Monday to Saturday.
