We love coming to this place. The whole experience of the surroundings and all the different seating areas so always somewhere to sit The staff are super friendly and helpful , the menu is great something for everybody , the toilets are clean, and the shop is incredible also !! Those saying it’s expensive , yes it is on the pricier side but to us you get what you pay for and the overall experience My husband said the ploughman’s was the best one he has ever had , the way it was laid out, the amount of cheese also.

A wonderful farmshop/cafe/garden centre! This was my 4th/5th visit this year and usually I have a lovely coffee prior to stocking up in the farmshop. On this occasion I enjoyed a full English, which is freshly prepared using many items from the farmshop. Wonderfully polite and friendly staff, even brought a free sample of one of their delicious cakes with my coffee. The farmshop is well stocked and the butchery and bakery section a delightful experience. The staff in the farmshop are simply the best……..so helpful and friendly.

We’ve been twice to this lovely cafe both times with our dogs so we sat in the conservatory. Good menu with loads of choice but boring me had a tuna and coleslaw jacket potato both times! Need to go back to try something else! Food and salad delish and the homemade relish is stunning. We bought some from the farm shop to take home. We found the cafe good value and would recommend to everyone!Only one thing I would say…. There’s a huge outside seating area which doesn’t allow dogs for some reason. Such a shame. So many people have dogs these days and take them out with them. Can’t wait to go back and try something new!

Compact farm shop with a range of fruit , veg and meat plus store cupboard treats. Breakfast barms lovely (asked for mine without butter) and the best pot of tea - massive china teapot. Really friendly and efficient service. Lovely plants, healthy and unusual types and good value garden seating and other bits and bobs. Bonus fish van on Friday - what a great young man serving, he knew his customers, and the fish was delish. Will come again!

Just went for coffee with a friend. Cannot comment on the food but coffee was fins. Good service. Situated on the edge of the Forest of Bowland, it scores on rural location and scenery, Main dining area serves the purpose with comfy seats to relax in. The conservatory too is fine but the outside tables and benches would not be to everyone's comfort but lovely on a nice day, I was surprised how busy it was for a Tuesday morning. My reviews are based on more than one visit and is only my opinion.Ifind this cafe a good place to chill and let the world go by.Most of the clientele, how can I say it (my age.)it gets a lot of cyclists stopping for a well earned cuppa and cake. The food is nice and well priced. The food eating area as a open fell to it, with blankets for your knees or shoulders which in winter is good.I had homemade soup the first time and a burger the second time, both were lovely.waiting time can be long at busy times, I do not mind as I love the atmosphere. We called in for a drink and a cake on our journey up to the Forest of Bowland. Choice of food was delicious and it was a busy Saturday lunchtime. We waited over half an hour for two teas and a coffee, watching the same poor girl making the drinks, gathering the other parts of the order together and then delivering them to the tables, sometimes outside. When we gave up waiting and asked for our money back, they searched through a pile of papers and couldn't even find our order! This place has obvious charm and lots going for it, but needs to re-think its busy period service.

7 of us stopped here on a bike ride, a bit slow to take our order, nobody else in the cafe, but the quality of food, friendliness of staff and value for money more than made up for this. Also the little piece of cake to go with the coffee a real nice touch.Would highly recommend calling here.

Visited here yesterday during a foul, cold, wet afternoon. This was offset by the warm and homely welcome afforded to my wife and I and her wheelchair, which we call Fred. We really only went to get a pot or two of their yogurt which she developed a taste for during a recent stay in hospital. While we were there, we rather fancied a bite to eat and went into the cafe. The menu is not exotic or pretentious, preferring instead to offer basic meals such as an all day breakfast but the portions are only for the very hungry. Anything less of an appetite and decent food will go back to the kitchen. You have to wait for it to be cooked to order, but that simply means that nothing is put before you dry and overcooked. There is a large semi-outdoor dining area but it not really sensible to eat there on a cold day. I would urge anyone wanting decent home made food and are in the Thornley area, to give Littletown Dairy a visit (it is on the main road between Longridge and Chipping about 60 yards past the Derby Arms), because the food is good and the prices are very appealing. They also have a decent farm shop selling mostly their own produce without souvenir pens, bars of chocolate made hundreds of miles away, or fridge magnets. It is the real thing, not a shop with a few groceries and a lot of tat. Yes indeed, visit if you can.

Often arrange to meet friends here for coffee and or lunch. Excellent food, friendly staff though the small dining room can get a little chilly at times with outside door continually opening

We sometimes visit Clitheroe midweek during the day. A pub crawl is the usual way to go, but this time, after the first pint we decided to have another. We stayed for six and on heading to the bus stop, we had only been to one pub. Why did we stay all afternoon? It was the friendliness of not just the staff, but the other customers all offering interesting content to a rolling discussion ranging from the beers to where each of us lived / grew up etc .... The barmaid (it was her first day) pulled a great pint too. In my experience of both pubs and people, this is rare. I nearly forgot to mention the prices. Cheaper than most places and two of the beers offered at just £3 a pint.

Lovely place with stunning views and hosted by Jonathan and Fran who are the most welcoming people. Bed and breakfast for one night only but we felt like we were visiting close family. We would highly recommend a stay here.

Best coffee shop in town maybe even Lancashire! I just love love this coffee shop not only does it have the best coffee and cakes, if you want lunch it’s has plenty of wonderful options to choose from. Plenty of vegan and gluten free options also. It’s has the most wonderful nooks and crannies to sit in and its Victorian decor is beautiful. The staff are always friendly and service fast. I have yet to find a coffee shop I love more.
